Quarto excelente. Muitas atrações e atividades. Comida e bebida muito boas. Área de lazer nota 10. Funcionários atenciosos. Ótima opção para se hospedar na zona hoteleira. Só a academia que é fraca.

Hotel é bom, entrega o que oferece. Reclamações ficam com relação a água do chuveiro que é "saloba", tem cheiro estranho. Os bares do hotel fazem drinks com pouca bebida alcoólica,batizaram o whisky com água no bar da praia. Comida é de boa qualidade, não havia lagosta no hotel. Os funcionários são muito atenciosos e cordeais. Hotel sempre limpo e muito bem cuidado.Shows todos os dias.

É um hotel bem antigo, não é muito grande em área, as opções de comida são boas e há 4 restaurantes diferentes. Os quartos são bem antigos, camas razoáveis, as toalhas bem surradas e praticamente não há tomada nós quartos. A parte de recreação infantil é bem fraca. Tem academia e quadra de tênis. É um hotel que precisa de uma reforma para de modernizar.

Great location. Great views. Super friendly staff... extremely outdated hotel. covid made dining occupancy next to nothing.(go early or wait) It stormed and rained on our Vacay and still had a blast.

Servers at the restaurants were very nice, respectful and funny, but other than that everything else was awful. The buffet food was mostly inedible, the only decent food was at the restaurants that you made reservations at. Drinks were very gross they dont even know how to make a proper “margarita”. Only beer was dos equis, no corona anywhere. Every night when i went out to the lounge chairs by the pools, there were massive cockroaches everywhere. Wouldn’t recommend to anybody. Spend the extra money and stay at barcelo or any other resort. They told me the covid test was “free” only to tell me the day of getting it that it was $90 USD because “i was canadian”

It's a good resort ,Employee's are very friendly and helpful, lots of booze selections,but I think the food could have been more better. Otherwise a great place for a vacation.

Não tenho do que reclamar, custo benefício maravilhoso, não é dos melhores resorts de Cancun, mas supera as expectativas relacionadas ao que oferece dentro do custo. Comida impecável, bebidas a vontade de boa qualidade, atrações diárias, conforto e qualidade de atendimento.

Muito boa. O quarto é amplo. O serviço de all inclusive é fantástico. Bebidas e comidas à vontade. Os shows noturnos valem a pena. Não dá para perder. A praia é limpa. Calma. Gostamos muito.

La habitación que nos tocó era la más lejana y ruidoso. todo quedaba muy lejos. Para el que le interese habitación 298 pidan cambiarla inmediatamente ya que la política de cambios es complicada una vez que la tomaste. El hotel es grande pero no guarda relación con los lugares disponible en playa y pileta. La pileta más tranquila para cuando vas en familia (por supuesto estaba del otro lado del hotel donde teníamos la habitacion) es la que primero se queda sin sol porque la tapa el hotel. El servicio de limpieza es deficiente, un día solo repusieron toallas porque terminaba el horario. Claro eramos la última habitación... En resumen. No volvería.

Until today great trip. Beautiful hotel, friendly staff just need to learn to let us play volleyball as long as we want. Even the guest with rare exception were wonderful to be around. Oh when they say adult only they mean it.As for today going wrong well that's my fault 🙃 😕 took a beautiful lady and her beautiful sister out on a snorkeling and island adventure. Turns out I didn't handle rejection well 🙃. So I bought a bottle of whisky and drank it all in about 10 minuteshave no memory of anything after that. Woke up in my motel room 8 hours later not good 😐. Found ex she said I turned blue almost died and threw up every where including on her not good. But the by far worse thing is her sister is not talking to me and that breaks my heart 💔 because she is going through a recent traumatic experience and needed my strength and support and I let her down!!!!! 😭😭😭 I don't know what to do. So back to the review if you want great food then don't go to a all inclusive, all though the booze here is not top shelf it is definitely not watered down unlike the last place I was at. In conclusion if you are looking for a fun getaway I can truly recommend this place

Overall wonderful experience. We arrived a few hours before check-in (4pm) but were still "checked-in" minus access to the room meaning we were free to start enjoying the resort while the hotel kept our bags safe. The beds were decent, the buffet food was pretty lackluster but the restaurants were pretty good (which are included for free). All the employees were very friendly and helpful. Service & experience was amazing the entire trip. Would highly recommend!!Tips before you go: - Do not lose the towel card (its $15 charge otherwise) - Restaurants don't take reservations, arrive before ~7:30pm to be sure you get a seat. - Bring a lot of extra money, a number of the excursions, local shops, etc do not take card. There is an ATM in the lobby but the charge is like $8 per withdrawl. - The third (east) pool is much quieter and less popular than the other two.

Everything was very clean. You can tell that the resort is dated, but it was well maintained. The lobby and hall areas do not have air conditioners. They utilize the big fans. The restaurants, rooms and entertainment rooms are all air conditioned.The drinks were good and the shots were even better. The only issue I have is serving the same food each and everyday. The food was fresh. Overall it was an amazing experience.

Desde primera hora nos atendieron amablemente con un cóctel de bienvenida. Después la playa a pie de hotel era espectacular. A cada rato te pregunta si deseas tomar algo ya se en la piscina o en la playa. Luego la comida muy buena , recomiendo sin duda el mexicano " María Margarita" y el restaurante de comida indonesia. A parte quiero dejar un lindo comentario al capitán Luis que sin duda nos atendió espectacular y nos brindó siempre lo mejor y con un trato increíble cada vez que nos veía . También el gerente del hotel nos ayudó hasta el último momento a solucionar nuestros problemas . Sin duda volvería a repetir hotel porque el trato al cliente y la animación del hotel y los espectáculos son increíbles , gracias Riu Caribe por recibirnos con tanta amabilidad. Que viva México.

If you’re Black or African American this place is NOT for you. Upon arrival I was given a heads up that I should’ve stayed at the Palace next door because Caribe doesn’t have many of my people. Which I found out to be true! We had a situation where I was confronted by their staff for not having a wristband on. There were other people without wristbands and I asked jokingly “Why are you asking me and not the others, is it because I’m black?” The staff member at the front counter named Eduardo said “exactly”! At the time I was like hmm.. maybe he didn’t understand what I said? Eduardo repeated.. yes, it’s because your black! Not once but 3 times! At this point we asked for management who claimed he didn’t know what he was saying! He spoke perfect English during the entire conversation. Long story short they charged me $125 for a wristband that they never gave me when I arrived. That wristband was supposedly covered in our original booking for 1 room with 2 guests! Not to mention they don’t have anything catering to us and our likes at this location. My driver told me prior to arrival that I should’ve stayed somewhere else.. I wish I would’ve listened! However, some of the bartenders were nice and funny. The view was beautiful and the pools and beach were clean. I must say I have never experienced discrimination in United States.. or any other county that I’ve visited. To go on vacation in Cancun Mexico and experience it for the 1st time in my LIFE absolutely ruined my trip. I will never forget this place and it’s not for a good reason.

This place was a terrific find and very well priced. I was surprised to pay $100 a night for this quality of all inclusive...!! Food was great. Rooms were great. Workers were great. Pools were fabulous and a great beach too. Grounds were spectacular. Will definitely be back...!!

Don't get me wrong I really like the Riu hotels I have been to others location in the Caribbean and they're very nice chain of hotels. But maybe it's because of the summer season and the hotel was super packed that it felt like even the staff were upset when you asked them for something. They don't want to be bother. The Beach here is beautiful and pool area very nice. The nightly shows event are spectacular, awesome 👍👍 shows. When you go on vacation it's very important to find good food specially when you're doing a family vacation that you feed your little kids. Just my opinion, Cancun Grill restaurant here in Miami has a better menu and authentic Mexican food.

Never again! Their breakfast buffet was the best food we had at this place. We were told we didn’t need reservations for their restaurants. We tried to go have dinner, just my husband and I. The host told us our name was not on the list and we couldn’t have dinner because the list was full. Cesar was the host, he was extremely rude and condescending. We asked if there was a way we could put our name on the list and he walked us over to the front desk to speak to another extremely rude person by the name of Ramon. Ramon then kept arguing that if our name was not on the list there was no way to get a table. I told him that I asked several times at check in if there was anything we had to do to set up dinner and they said no! No reservations needed! No list was mentioned either. Ramon said I’ll put your name on the list for tomorrow. When we called the next day to confirm our names were on the list they told us the restaurant was closed on Wednesday’s. It made us upset because that was our last night and both of the other two restaurants were awful! Their hospitality is beyond awful! The bartenders always seemed upset when people asked for drinks, not friendly one bit!! We’ve been to Cancun many times and always have the best time. This was our first and last time in Riu Caribe.

After experiencing a horrible service at another hotel which I Ieft I came to this place. 1st off I want to say this was a girl's trip so we were looking to have a good time and this place delivered. Wish I had originally started here. The food and drinks were really good. The beach was amazing only downside was the pool closed at 7pm for cleaning which was understood but still a downside after a long day with excursions we would of preferred to relax pool side. Staff was hit & miss and there were some opportunities to keep the birds away while eating at the pool side resturants but overall a really good experience. I would definitely come here again.

Estuvimos hospedados mi esposo y yo la semana pasada y tuvimos la peor de las experiencias que hemos tenido en algún hotel. Nos gusta hospedarnos en la cadena de hoteles RIU y jamás habíamos tenido queja y menos de esta índole. Lastimosamente la primera noche que estuvimos ahí mientras nosotros dormíamos un sujeto que también estaba hospedado en el hotel, ingresó a nuestra habitación y descaradamente comenzó a hacer cosas obscenas (por respeto no voy a dar detalles) y se llevo ropa interior de nuestras maletas. Inmediatamente reportamos a recepción y las personas de seguridad lograron detenerlo ya que había ingresado a otras 5 habitaciones más de las cuales ya también ya había reporte. Llego la policía municipal y se lo llevaron detenido pero a las personas que venían con el y que también fueron cómplices les permitieron seguir hospedados en el hotel. La gerenta nos indicó que fue responsabilidad nuestra el no ponerle seguro al balcón y que por eso la persona logró ingresar, explicándonos que el sujeto había escalado 6 pisos y había entrado por la terraza. Lo que era nuestra noche de descanso se convirtió en una noche de angustia y preocupación ya que no pudimos volver a dormir después de ese episodio tan asqueroso. Por suerte no llevaba a mis niños, pero me queda claro que no es un hotel que brinde seguridad al huésped ya que cualquier persona puede entrar a tu habitación como si nada y el hotel se lava las manos diciendo que uno debe ponerle seguro. No volvería a hospedarme ahí jamás después de vivir ese mal momento y menos voy a exponer a mis hijos de esa manera. Les sugiero si se hospedan en este hotel pongan seguro a sus balcones. 🤮🤮🤮🤮

I loved this hotel. I came here during covid and the resort was operating normally. Buffet was still packed with food, entertainment every night and activities were available for purchase during the day. Staff was nice and courteous food was good and i liked that they had a really big swimming pool. Staff workers work really hard. it helps to tipthem 2 or 3 dollars occasionally.

Es un hotel muy bonito. Se encuentra a al norte de la zona hotelera de Cancún. Recomiendo visitar las playas de esa zona ya qué hay poco oleaje y es muy tranquila la Playa. El servicio del hotel es excelente y todo el personal está al pendiente de la gente hospedada en todo momento. Las albercas se encuentran muy limpias.

Muy bonito, pero por la contingencia nos tocó muchas restricciones, la comida nunca cambia siempre es la misma, alguna cosas están super ricas y otras son muy ordinarias Las habitaciones no tienen gran lujo, pero son cómodas El clima funcionaba muy bien La limpieza es buena en todo el hotel

Excellent service, the staff made sure we had everything we needed. Food was good, pools were beautiful. Easy access to the beach. Rooms need to be updates other than that the resort is really nice and we had a great time.

This place is great. I just spent 12 days there, food was absolutely amazing and fresh. Ceviche everyday, excellent buffet, soup and domestic Mexican food absolutely on par. Let me tell you about the service.. Upon arriving, I generously tipped the waiters and bartenders and servers even though tips were included in the trip price. The exceptional service I got after that was great. They addressed me by Mr. and showed us the utmost respect. Daniel, Alex, Perez and Arturo and their team are very nice people and deserve a raise in my opinion! They made us feel comfortable and attended to our every need, even serving us drinks on the beach and checking up on us. I highly recommend this place if you wish to relax and be pampered and have some fun in the sun! Good location for boat excursions and not far from bar/nightclub hot spots. I recommend using public transit, as taxis charge what they please.

We stayed at RIU Caribe 09/09-09/13 in a frontal ocean view jr. suite on the 5th floor with a spectacular view. From arrival to departure, the resort staff was amazing. Everything was very well maintained and thoroughly cleaned regularly. There are hand sanitizer stations throughout the resort grounds, indoors and out. Masks are required while walking through the resort but can be removed once outside/seated to eat/in your room. The food was good and all but one restaurant (Maria Margarita) are buffet-style. A pizza station is outside near one of the pools. While tips & gratuity are included in the fare, it is customary to tip. A BBVA ATM is located in the lobby and issues pesos (don't be afraid when you input $2,000; you are only withdrawing about $100). Our housekeeping staff was great and we had the cutest towel animals and floral designs left for us. The water pressure and temperature are good. There are plenty of lounge chairs on the beach and around the pool. Neither was ever overcrowded. There are vendors who walk the beach but we were never bothered. Just say no thank you and they continue on. We did one excursion booked through Scuba Caribe who are there are the resort. Needless to say we loved our stay and felt very safe at RIU Caribe and we cannot wait to book another trip soon.

The best hotel I have ever stayed at (and I am always on my way to new destinations...). The staff is incredibly nice and attentive. Shout out to the waiters, especially to Alex(breakfast buffet), Nain and Rodolfo. They are the kindest and most caring waiters I have ever met. Also, staff always makes sure everything is sanitized and everybody maintaines social distancing. Food is great, room service and cleaning is excellent, the pools are amazing and clean! The beach is wonderful with palmtrees, white sand and clear water. Events every night and other entartaining during the day. I can’t wait to return one day! FIESTA RIU!

The service, the hotel, the food and the drinks were the best. I went there with my daughter to celebrate our birthdays and no complaints at all, a waiter name Josue went above and beyond to give us good service, every thing was clean and safe highly recommended. 🎉🎉

Mi estadía en el hotel fue muy variada, las instalaciones se ven algo antiguas, la comida buena pero a mi pareja le dio salmonelosis en el buffet Albatros, creo que deberían tener más cuidado siendo que es su restaurante principal. Otra cosa que nos sucedió es que fuimos a caminar a la playa de lado del Riu Península y nos dijeron que nos fuéramos ya que pertenecíamos al hotel de alado, deberían permitir el paso ya que es de la misma cadena hotelera. Por parte del personal les hace falta mucha atención a los huéspedes, en conclusión mi estadía no fue la mejor.

I love this hotel: friendly staff, nice rooms (I love this screen between bathroom and bedroom), nice beach, very green area, good menu. I like the design of your common areas (lobby, Calypso, bars etc). Thank for Elda, Antonio, Rudolpho and other guys from Albatross - you are doing great job! Thank you for room service guys - you are awesome!Only one thing this hotel can improve - pillows. Now your pillows are 3/10.

O Hotel é ótimo! Boa comida, atendimento excelente, quarto espaçoso e muito limpo. A área externa é excelente com piscinas grandes e um jardim muito maravilhoso. Apenas a praia deixou a desejar, pois se limita a extensão do hotel, não tendo uma orla para se fazer uma caminhada matinal! Para quem vai para Cancun para curtir o hotel com all inclusive...recomendo!

MARAVILHOSO!!!! Localização excelente, funcionários super atenciosos te tratam com muita educação e fazem você se sentir muito a vontade, as instalações do hotel são ótimas só o elevador que precisa de melhorias tecnológicas pois é antigo. A comida e bebida são de excelente qualidade e muita variedade à vontade 24 horas, a limpeza é impecável em todos os espaços e nos restaurantes, a piscina é grande e a praia privativa é sensacional, água cristalina, enfim não vejo a hora de me hospedar na rede RIU novamente.

Hotel bem localizado com praia pé na areia lindíssima visualmente, tom do mar em verde esmeralda inesquecível. Esse hotel possui todos os quartos com visão privilegiada do Oceano com sol da manhã, a parte interna, antes da praia, vista da varanda dos quartos é de um verde firme, coqueiros e vegetação abundante compondo os jardins, encobrindo parcialmente as piscinas azuladas com o mar ao fundo que revigoram só de admirar, parece uma pintura. O hotel é com tudo incluído e conta com seis bares pelo menos, dois nas piscinas, dois no saguão, um no anfiteatro de shows e um na sala de jogos (esse é 24 horas com opção de frutas, bebidas e sanduíches, entre outros). E cinco restaurantes com comidas e bebidas de qualidade, um grande internacional, com múltiplas estações de alimentos diversos, onde é servido o café da manhã exclusivamente, além das outras refeições, um de comida asiática, um de comida mexicana, um na piscina maior e outro na piscina menor onde é servido pizzas exclusivamente. Há múltiplos serviços disponíveis no hotel, passeio de barco, jet ski, parapente puxado por lancha, banana boat, caiaque (esse sem custo) entre outras atividades. Há animadores na área da piscina, shows noturnos no anfiteatro com apresentação de artistas locais, enfim, múltiplas atividades para quem estiver disposto. As suítes são grandes, limpas e as janelas me parecem que contam com isolamento acústico, há um frigobar com bebidas diversas repostas a cada dois dias e um sistema de bebidas quentes, pelo menos quatro garrafas com torneirinhas, para quem gosta. Há uma cultura de propina (gorjeta) desde o carregador de mala até ao barman, porém, não é obrigatória.

Un hotel viejo pero en buenas condiciones. Puede mejorar bastante. Sin embargo el nivel de calidad de comida deja que desear. Las habitaciones son anticuadas e incluso peligrosas para menores de edad ya que tienen mesas con vidrios filosos y mal cortados. En el exterior: sin duda alguna extraordinario, es lo mejor del lugar. Los espacios exteriores, albercas y playa! MAGNIFICA VISTA.

O Hotel é muito bom, os quartos confortáveis e espaçosos. A vista do mar é de tirar o fôlego. A praia em frente ao hotel muito limpa. Funcionários bem educados, com algumas exceções de alguns um pouco abusados nas brincadeiras. A comida é boa e bem variada, disponível durante o dia todo. As bebidas do bar da piscina economizam no álcool e levam suco artificial. No geral vale a pena.

Conforto, beleza, piscina aquecida, e uma praia privada, isso o hotel te oferece.Uma coisa boa deste hotel éser o último hotel da praia... logo, não tem tanta movimentação de pessoas dos outros hotéis, sendo bem exclusivo.Conforto do quarto excelente, bem limpo e organizado.Comida acho que pecou... possui algumas variedades, mas achei bem americano. Muito gostoso a parte do pescado, realmente excelente, mas não existe tantas outras variedades... café da manhã então... vixi... curti não.Atendimento muito bom, são bem atenciosos e o hotel tem convêniocom algumas atrações como por exemplo o cocobongo ( comprando por lávocê paga menos que o normal e entra na área VIP COM translado)só descobri tarde... pena.O hotel fica situado na zona hoteleira, como a maioria, 6 minutos de ônibus ( a qual ébem seguro na cidade) você chega no centro, onde as coisas acontecem.Hotel praticamente do lado de um dos letreiros de Cancun. Fomos andando ( 10 minutos de caminhada).

Simplesmente deslumbrante. Hotel completo com all-inclusive com mais de 10 opções de restaurantes. Uma variedade gigante de pratos, mesmo nos bandeijões . Muitas opções de piscinas, o que te permite escolher entre adultos, crianças, solteiros ou sossego. Animadores a todo tempo nas piscinas maiores. Existe uma piscina pequena para as crianças e um ambiente para deixá -las com monitores. Temos shows, inclusive com música ao vivo, todos os dias no hotel. Todos funcionarioa, sem exceções, são cordiais e pro-ativos. Cardápio de bebidas com muitas opções. A praia é tranquila e calma, ideal para passar horas. Os passeios podem ser contratados no próprio hotel, pois ficam algunsconsultores das companhias de turismo. Enfim, recomendo demais esse hotel. Ah sim, já estava me esquecendo... problemas para dormir? O quarto possui isolamento acústico, mesmo com os shows no hotel, não se escuta nada do quarto. Melhor opção x custo benefício!!
