Ignore all of the negative reviews on here. I went here with my wife on our make up honeymoon due to our original plans being canceled due to COVID-19. Lets just say that I'm itching to go back again! The room was amazing. The pools are awesome! The beach was beautiful. We just bummed mostly at the pools the whole time and had no issues getting chairs. Service was great. I feel like the majority of the negative reviews here are people that just didn't let it loose and relax. If you are rude to staff (We witnessed several "Karen"s berating the staff a couple of times), they will make it a point to avoid you. If you are nice and kind to the staff and TIP them, they will go above and beyond for you! If you don't like the loud music at the main pools, just go to the quiet pool hidden away on the southwest side and you'll love how calm and peaceful it is! Make sure to work with your host to make dinner reservations for the rest of your stay! The Italian and Japanese restaurants were amazing! Special thanks to Miguel along with the rest of the staff for making our stay enjoyable!

Travelling with family of 4 (fully vaxed and boostered). Months ahead paid big upcharge for 2 rooms with OCEAN view. (There are ocean front, ocean view and pool view rooms) Pretravel contact (emails and calls direct to hotel) was frequent to ensure rooms side-by-side with an ocean view. PreTravel we were able to pick our pillow, fragrance, liquor/ alcohol for room refrigerator; restaurant rezs; however they would not let us confirm rooms side by side. During COVID we know occupancy would be reduced. At time of reservation occupancy set at 70%; by the time we arrived it was almost 100%. @ Check-in: we waited an hour to change our rooms so next to each other- they were pool view rooms and not prepared. Dirty dishes from previous guests outside our room; refrigerator broken and leaking water over floor. A/C not on and rooms smelled musty. Our view was hanging over the balcony to see any ocean. Once rooms cleaned and mechanical issues resolved - housekeeping did a great job. True all inclusive - no levels of "all inclusive" - made ordering food and beverage very easy at all times of day and night. Room service orders - not accurate even though we ordered the same thing early am every day. Food and beverage quality in general - average - varied by each of 5+ restaurants. The quantity was surprisingly below average. Seemed like operations was unprepared for the number of guests. Quality, availablity and quantity seemed to improve midweek. Maybe the whole of Mexico was caught off guard by the number of visitors.Property is safe and staff very friendly and helpful. PRO: They provided acceptable COVID tests for guests returning to US and these were scheduled at check in. Process was great! Don't know if we will return to UNICO if in the area. I don't like paying alot of $$ for average.

Sin duda alguna el hotel es un concepto Boutique para adultos solamente, muy padre la estancia y muy atentos, vale la pena cada centavo y en concepto todo incluído, habitaciones amplias y modernas además de limpias, hay actividades por la mañana tarde pero el hotel es más para descanso, un playa tranquila, no me tocó sargazo, en el tema de la comida hay excelentes restaurantes siempre preguntando si eres alérgico a algún alimento, excelentes bebidas y servicio del personal.

Hotel was modern, clean, and comfortable. Things to watch out for is that the resort closes all bars and dining at 11:00PM which put a damper on celebrations. They also charged some friends some outrageous rates to come and visit in excess of an actual room rate. Otherwise, a great experience.

Spent a wonderful week at the Unico 2087.Make sure you have a smart phone when you go to the restaurants as all the menus are online downloadable through a QR code and make sure to download the hotel app as everything is accessible on the app. From room service, requesting turndown, looking at the daily activities, or even ordering food poolside. Hotel was always clean and the AC in our room made the place like an ice box (just the way I like to sleep) but may be too cold for some. Could never figure out how to raise the temp without turning it off.

“Vacation Makers” tours are sketchy. They do not stand behind what they offer you. Not at all transparent. They present themselves as on the up and up. Absolutely not. Would never book anything through them. Great all inclusive /adults only resort. Food was really good. Be careful of a false sense of security with the taxi drivers. Completely sketchy.

Um hotel sensacional. Não muito grande, porém vale muito a pena. A praia é lindar e Quase exclusiva, com corais a menos de cem metros da areia. Os restaurantes do hotel são muito bons, comida a la carte e de ótima qualidade. O serviço é bem agradável.Quarto enorme é extremamente confortável, além de um vista para tornar o dia 100% agradável.

Es de los hoteles que aprovechan la pandemia de pretexto para tener una limitada, muy limitada variedad de alimentos. Todo es la carta y solo hay unas cuantas variedades en ella siendo esta muy pobre, definitivamente pregunten si ya tienen buffet. El personal 100 por ciento profesional y amable, los meseros excelentes con su atención. En general cada uno de los trabajadores de este lugar hacen muy bien lo suyo.

En lo único que pondría tache es que olvidan que están en México y que habemos mexicanos que nos hospedamos también y deben pensar en nuestros gustos culinarios, la cocina mexicana está reconocida como de las mejores del mundo! No lo dejen pasar. Imposible una salsa, los condimentos "sabroseadores" a los que estamos acostumbrados... Además, los extranjeros no sólo quieren disfrutar de nuestras maravillosas playas, ruinas, hospitalidad... también quieren probar nuestra excelente gastronomía, pero, la de verdad, no la hecha para "güeros"

El hotel es para puros adultos, en general todo es de lujo aunque el servicio en los restaurantes no es el mejor.La comida es buena, nada que presumir. Es un hotel todo incluido y en general les sale toda la coctelería muy bien excepto por los mojitos que nada más no les salen.Las albercas están increíbles y valen mucho la pena.El SPA es lo mejor del hotel, Vale la pena dedicarle el tiempo a un tratamiento.El área de reuniones está cómoda y amplia.

Es uno de los 3 mejores hoteles de México. Cuenta con restaurantes para comer de lo mejor. La decoración de todo el hotel es genial, ideal para descansar y disfrutar de unas buenas vacaciones.

It's an excellent all-inclusive hotel. Property is adult-only, and few dining options are available. I liked the 24-hour room service, and it is included in your package. My room dining is slow; better order in advance. Housekeeping is very poor. My scale has no battery, and room cleanliness is not good. Minibar is part of the package, but you need to remind housekeeping to refill it. The food and drinks are good. Difficult to book the spa as they are busy. Spa prices are high.

We stayed at UNICO for our honeymoon and had the most amazing experience. Everything felt extremely organized and straightforward from the second we arrived and checked in to the end of our stay. We had Alex as our local host and he was wonderful- he even set up a couple of surprises for us to celebrate our honeymoon! He check in on us multiple times and any questions, requests or concerns we had, he resolved immediately. The food was wonderful and the service was excellent/ consistent for us at every restaurant. We spent time at each of the pools and felt the service was great especially with the amount of people present at the resort. Daniel and Carlos were the best! We felt comfortable within the rooms and thought they were really well kept also! We ended our stay with a couples massage in the spa and it was beyond relaxing. I would just note that we weren’t told hydrotherapy was included in our massage so I didn’t bring a bathing suit but if you do opt for this service- don’t forget one! We will definitely be back!

We came here for a delayed honeymoon and first anniversary trip and have completely loved our stay! We have had nothing but an incredible experience from check in to 5 days into our day. We were greeted promptly, brought drinks while we checked in by Veronica, and the hotel surprised us with an upgrade to a private suite for our honeymoon! Compared to the last resort we stayed at, this one beyond exceeded our expectations. Our local host Kristel was incredible, super responsive and even personally came to check on us multiple times while we were at the pool. She had champagne, chocolates and rose petals set up In She took care of anything we needed. All of the servers we’ve had have been kind, attentive and eager to take care of us. The drinks and food are all amazing as well. I don’t know why some people have been so picky. Yes the service can take a little bit of time at some times but we have plenty of time being on vacation. We have had super prompt meals and were even commenting on how fast the food came out. The pool music can be loud but there’s always the quiet pool which also has a great swim up bar and you can’t even hear the music there. Everything is super clean and there has been constant maintenance of the property while we’ve been here. We can’t wait to come back and stay here and recommend this resort to everyone!

Best resort I've ever stayed at. The food, property, and pools are all amazing and well kept. I was worried about some of the criticisms in reviews but none of them were an issue. Pool chairs do get claimed early but the staff does a purge every few hours for chairs that only have a towel on them. I stayed here for a week and was always able to find 2 pool chairs at 10 AM, 1 PM, & 3 PM times. We were never subjected to any time share pitches. There was an ad for the Legendary VIP program on TV but that was it. All the staff was very friendly and helpful. Pool side service for drinks and food is amazing to have. Their app worked very well too for room service requests, food orders, and any other requests. Overall I had a great honeymoon here and can't wait to come back!

O hotel Único é uma referência em qualidade de instalações, atendimento, alimentação e serviços. O quarto ocean front possui uma vista belíssima para praia, é espaçoso e completíssimo em amenidades. O complexo de pisicinas permite beber sem sair da água, com colchoes a disposição para relaxar. O serviço de Local Host permite aproveitar o hotel ao máximo, atendendo inclusive por whatsapp. O hotel também oferece serviços de Spa, que podem ser utilizados em casal.

Food was excellent.Service was excellent. Horseshoe layout was nice.Easy to get around. Surprisingly majority of guests wore masks inside. Covid measures by resort were very good.

We had a wonderful trip and the views from our room were simply incredible! From the welcoming staff, to the cleanliness and concierge service, it was definitely 5 stars! The pool staff was so attentive and on point. Our waiter Nicholas at Mi Carisa was absolutely phenomenal and Manu, the dance instructed, worked it out! We are already planning on when we want to go back!

Facility is beautiful but they need to be better at upkeep. For the most part the staff is great but they didn’t clean our room the first day until after 4pm. The second day, they came to the room at 9:45pm for turn down services but we were already in bed. The host showed up after 2 days to finally meet with us. Lots of greenery and wildlife which was nice. Menus were limited and I wasn’t impressed with the cuisine.

An amazing hotel. This is our third time here and even through it’s a little different with every stay - it’s still a wonderful time. Nicolas, a server at Mi Carisa (the Italian) restaurant, was the best waiter we had amongst all the restaurants. Courteous, respectful, and kind. Rafael is also wonderful as part of the pool entertainment. So many wonderful workers for pool staff to the local hosts (Leonardo is the most amazing local host) Glad to stay here again 😊

The experience at UNICO was phenomenal!!! The first day was a bit rocky as we felt overwhelmed by the staff trying to upgrade us after a long day of travel. But by the end of the trip, the service, the attention to detail, the drinks and the FOOD... by far the best food I've had on a trip ever. On the resort there are 4 restaurants including Italian, Mexican, Hibachi. All the food, every meal was excellent. Along with the 4 restaurants there are a few lounges and a pool bar/lounge. Aside from the food and drinks, what really stands out about Unico is the service. The staff really makes you feel completely comfortable and attends to your every need and request. Can't wait to go back!

Hotel diseñado para americanos. Nos gastamos un dineral en este hotel tenía que ser especial y de 10 y no ha sido así. Muy caro, siempre los restaurantes temáticos siempre llenos para cenar con más de 1 semana de antelación y si no eres miembro LEGENDARY no puedes acceder a ellos ni entrar en determinados lugares del hotel. La zona de playa está muy dejada y no está adecuado correctamente como el hotel Pradisus de al lado. Sin duda, ha sido nuestra 3 vez en Mexico - 1a en este hotel y no repetiremos. Mencionar el MAL TRATO DE NATALIA DE CONCIERGE, que por un error de la reservación en un restaurante que hizo nuestro relations manager, no nos dejo quedarnos a cenar en el restaurante donde deberiamos haber estado! Pesimo. Y ls excursiones extremadamente caras y mal organizadas.

Trato maravilloso de todo el personal con muchísima dulzura, siempre pendientes de si necesitas algo y dispuestos a ayudarte en todo lo que necesitas, el hotel una auténtica pasada, estamos deseando volver!! Tienes una app en la que solicitar cualquier tipo de comida a la habitación a cualquier hora, solicitar que te dejen la bañera preparada, que te traigan toallas...y todo lo cumplen sin fallar y súper puntuales. Y tienes una host (asistente) que te ayuda absolutamente en todo. Una auténtica maravilla

Desafortunadamente no me han dado la oportunidad de ir al hotel aun teniendo una semana pagada por un premio que nos dieron. Cuando nos disponemos a viajar en diciembre 2019 mi madre fue ingresada y aunque el seguro nos devuelve los aéreos, ellos se negaron a darnos la compensación. Dijeron que lo extendían a 2020. Y llegó la pandemia y era totalmente imposible viajar por placer a México. Dijeron que cuando se levantaran las restricciones volviéramos a contactar. Mi sorpresa es que una nada amable señorita LIZZIE MIS PARRA “ Euro Corporate Sales Manager” tajantemente nos priva de hacer uso del premio. Solo hasta este agosto 2021 era posible cosa que nos parece injusto ya que fue imposible viajar durante el 2020. NADA FLEXIBLES, nada simpáticos y eso que soy de la industria del turismo. Pues peor aún, me han tratado cómo basura. Yo mismo tengo pendientes reservas en mis apartamentos y bajo ningún conceptodejo de darel servicio a mis clientes, los extiendo al 2022, a sabiendas que el 2020 fue nulo y este 2021 comienza a arrancar realmente tras la vacunación. Organizadora de congresos y eventos y ni siquiera le importa a esta señorita que mi cliente se decantara por este hotel. Obviamente le aconsejé que cambiáramos de hotel.Ya no lo recomendaría nunca más. Todo fueron negativas y pocas ganas de ayudar. Deberían haberlo extendido a final de este año principios del 2022,o bien poderlo ceder a alguien de mi oficina. NADA, no dejaron hacer nada. Quedarse con el dinero! aunque no me costó ni un dólar, me ha dolido mucho que no me dieran oportunidad de conocer el hotel más adelante. No estamos en tiempos normales, esperaba un mínimo de amabilidad y empatía. Me negaron un premio a nuestras ventas con un tour operador y cómo tal; se lo han querido ahorrar! CERO EMPATIA! No recomiendo a esta trabajadorani al hotel por no haberme ayudado en absoluto. Divino el hotel‼️ Es solo adultos y su servicio es extraordinario, al igual que sus cheffs en los restaurantes internacionales. Sus colaboradores son super amables y superan y halagan mi estadía. Mi mejor recomendación en la Rivera Maya. Si diseño moderno y elegante me gustan mucho.

El hotel genial aunque le falta animación. El tema de la playa es una pena, fatal cuidada. Sin servicio y casi sin hamacas. Había mucho sargazo, cosa que si pusieran más empeño podrían mejorar. En el Barceló que había justo al lado había bastante menos sargazo.

EXPERIÊNCIA DE CASAL *BRASILEIRO* NO RESORT UNICO 2087. Ficamos 6 diárias no hotel (29/06/21 a 05/07/21). Foi uma viagem de lua de mel e ficamos MUITO DECEPCIONADOS com o serviço prestado. Decidimos ficar no Unico 2087, pois nossa agência de viagem nos indicou e o hotel possui boas avaliações nos sites de busca. Pontos a serem comentados: 1. Ficamos no quarto “Alcoba Ocean Front”, quarto limpo, amplo, muito bem equipado e sistema de ar-condicionado eficiente. Porém, apesar de o hotel não estar cheio, nos colocaram em um quarto do 2º andar (são 4 andares, se não me engano) com vista bastante prejudicada por conta das vegetações. 2. O hotel possui APP para solicitações, incluindo refeições no quarto. O menu de refeições era bastante limitado e, na maioria das vezes, haviam grandes atrasos de 30-60min do horário previsto (1h após a solicitação). 3. Os restaurantes estão funcionando ‘a La Carte’ com cardápio no QRCode. No café da manhã, todos os dias, após nos sentarmos os garçons levavam, em média, 15min para nos servir café e coletar nosso pedido + 20min para servir. Muitos pedidos com sobremesa/doces faltando, pratos não solicitados e afins. 4. Serviço da piscina é disparado a PIOR EXPERIÊNCIA no hotel. Muitos hóspedes com caixas de som ligada em alto volume, cada um tocando uma música, parecendo uma feira. Os garçons eram em número bastante reduzido, só serviam quem pagasse gorjeta (e a cada atendimento) e, mesmo assim, serviam mal. Cerveja não era gelada! Drinques levavam, pelo menos, 20min para serem serviços após o pedido!! Os clientes deixavam as bordas das piscinas cheia de copos, pratos e restos de alimento, ficando com aspecto de imundo… e não havia limpeza pelo hotel por horas... 5. No período que passamos no hotel, cerca de 80-90% dos clientes eram de americanos, o que nos passou a ideia de que o hotel esteja acostumado com clientes americanos. Falam bem inglês e espanhol, mas se seu inglês não estiver fluente eles não tem muita paciência para explicar/falar mais devagar. No restaurante japonês o garçom chegou a perguntar se éramos brasileiros e rir de forma debochada ao respondermos que sim. 6. Pelo que entendemos, Cancun e a Riviera Maya pode estar cheia de algas em qualquer época do ano, para nossa infelicidade a praia estava cheia de algas no período em que ficamos. Impossível tomar banho ou se quer ficar na praia, pois o odor é péssimo! Nos restando a piscina como ‘atração’ no resort (e de quebra o péssimo serviço de bar/atendimento). [o SPA não está incluído na hospedagem!!] 7. A comida do restaurante Mexicano gourmetizado do Unico não é agradável ao paladar brasileiro. Diferentemente, da comida típica dos restaurantes ao redor do CocoBongo que é excelente!! No resturante mexicano do Unico vimos uma barata e uma ratazana correndo ao redor das mesas. 8. Fizemos 2 passeios, para Tulum e para Isla Mujeres, ambos maravilhosos!! O que tiramos de conclusão foi que NÃO COMPENSA ficar no Unico (pelo menos, SE FOR BRASILEIRO) alto custo, risco de alga(perdendo a praia como opção), serviço ruim. Talvez compense um resort mais barato, mais próximo a Cancún e aproveitar ao máximo os passeios disponíveis.

We had a great time on our honeymoon here. However, it wasn't perfect, hence the 4 stars. Some ways they can add to the experience are: figuring out how to better manage the "chair wars" that take place at the pool, open more spots for the classes that they provide to their guests, and be more transparent with pricing on the excursions that are advertised as 75% off for the inclusions price. (Essentially the excursions that seem really cheap on paper will end up being more than double what you expect due to fees that they don't advertise such as transportation, environmental, etc.) All in all though it was a great experience and talking with other folks staying at different hotels on our excursions, we seemed to have the best resort

This hotel is one of the most well known in this area. I have been staying here for a long time. If you choose this place you definitely will love it I'm sure! We loved our stay here and look forward to come back. The staff was very courteous and kind. The rooms were great and the food was excellent. We had a hard time choosing which restaurant was our favorite.

Pros: staff is AMAZING, so kind and professional. Food was SO good. 24 hour room service that you can order from their app. Poolside service for drinks and full meals. 2 pools that are quiet/relaxing, 1 pool is more hype/activities. The rooms are gorgeous and comfortable.Things I wish I’d known ahead of time: -have to make an appt at the gym to workout (and have to wear mask) -there’s a TON of seaweed piled up on the beach, so much you actually can’t go in the water -need to make dinner reservations way ahead of time, specifically for sushi -people get out EARLY to save pool chairs/umbrellas (like 7am.. if you go looking for a chair at 10 you’ll have a hard time finding one)Overall amazing trip and would highly recommend

O Hotel é maravilhoso! Tenho por comparativo o Riu Cancun, que, igualmente, é excelente. No Único os restaurantes possuem pratos com verdadeiras obras de arte. Para além, o Único é um ambiente agradável para ir em casal. Caso esteja solteira(o), vá com um grupo de amigos. Há amenidades no hotel. Há, também, passeios disponíveis já inclusos na diária. Então, esperem para estarem no hotel para fazerem determinados passeios.A diferença que notei entre o Riu Cancun e o Unico é que, enquanto o Riu Cancun é mais família (possui atividades para crianças e adultos durante o dia), o Único é mais casal... lua de mel... passeios externos... etc.Espero ter lhe ajudado! Hotel sensacional! Comida maravilhosa, drinks ótimos. A praia não foi muito explorada pelo hotel. Sem atrativos nesse quesito. Existe uma mudança considerável no tratamento de hóspedes que dão gorjeta. Brasileiros não têm esse hábito, logo sentimos um pouco de descaso nesse quesito. No mais, foi uma semana ótima.

Espetacular elegante,fomos por15 dias em maio saimos mal acostumado por hotel q como diz ..unico..na chegada ya nos esperava,maria palafox nossa local host q estava pendente de todos nossas vontades,todos restaurante exelente,como somos carnivoras preferiamos o estaurante 20-87,onde os gerentes hugo e jorge pareciam familiar conhecia nossos desejos e o chef oscar sem comentarios vinha sempre nos despedir e sabia meu prato preferido,bom do hotelsaimossuper mimadinhos...ah sem esquecer atendentes uma delas nazareth ai esqueci nomes...ahah todas gentil,os mozos as ticas sandra(garconete) dos restaurante,piscinas,praia,super atentas,o da praiaeduardoq ai estava nos esperando pra nos engreir e mos ensinar um pouquinho q seja dessa cultura maravilhosa q tem mexico,....desculpa se deixei pra tras nomes..todos voces estao de parabens de levar adiante esse resort de primeira categoria.

Unico was a great experience. I've been to many resorts all around the caribbean and Mexico so have high standards of the resorts I stay in. Unico delivery wonderfully pretty much across the board. The resort was beautiful, the staff very friendly and almost all spoke English well, and most importantly the food was top notch and better than many other resorts I've been too, in both taste and presentation.The only reason I am giving 4 stars is because it often took a very long time to get drinks and food once ordered. There was often only one bartender at the bar all pool orders went to so it was slow, and the swim up bar was closed (probably due to covid) so drinks took a long time. I would highly recommend Unico to anyone looking for a great all inclusive resort.

We throughly enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere at the Unico 2087. The property has about one mile of beach to walk on and swimming was possible in certain areas of the sea. Overall, the only downside that we felt was the food and drink service was slow and limited. Only one bar (inside) open during the evening and not all the restaurants are operating at full capacity. The Italian restaurant had the best food and service we experienced. Regardless of those minor details the escape from winter was worth it during COVID. Don’t miss out on drawing yourselves a bath on the balcony and ordering wine to the room, that was truly the best memory we made!

Great property, staff went out of there way to make sure we had a great, safe stay, they had covid testing on-site and received the results the same day. All of the Restaurants had great food and a lot of options to select from. Will be going back

The grounds, food and views were lovely! I think the hotel is nicely designed and well decorated. We have been to other resorts in the area and the food here was certainly the best. My main complaints would be that the service was a little slow, we had inconsistencies where one person would be amazing and then 3-4 people were not on top of things. Also we had the concierge for our building who seemed nice but only really took care of our dinner reservation which we could have done ourselves on their app. When we have stayed at other resorts, it was much more detail oriented and we saw our concierge multiple times a day. Here we only saw him for two minutes upon check in. Lastly, it was a trip for my birthday and it didn’t seem like that was noticed at all. Despite us mentioning it before our stay and being asked several times during our stay if we were celebrating - we told them yes and when the birthday was, and nothing special was done despite other guests getting balloons and a piñata in their room for their birthday. Overall we had a good time and I would likely come back but we were a little disappointed in some of these details given that our experience at a neighboring resort was of higher service quality and for much less of a cost.

Amazing place! Had a great time here even with COVID restrictions. We stayed over Christmas for a week and wish we stayed longer. They definitely do not cut corners with the service they provide! All of the restaurants are awesome and our favorite was the Italian restaurant mi carisa. We had no issues making reservations at the restaurants. They even have a sushi menu for lunch at the grill 20.87. We liked that all of the different restaurants had specialty drinks and that the portions were small so that we could try many different things. Hotel pools and the grounds are well kept and we were glad we booked the swim up pool. The beach is awesome and still has food / drink service. Would definitely recommend UNICO and will definitely be back in the future!

UNICO is a fantastic 5-star resort. We had read reviews online prior to making our reservations, and we had gone on our vacation with very high expectations. Our stay lived up to and even exceeded the reviews we had read. It was that amazing. Elizabeth was our assigned personal host, and she was so amazing. Throughout our stay, she reached out to us proactively to check that we were doing fine, helped make reservations when we requested them, and helped us address any potential challenges we had. We had the option to choose our rooms’ scents from an aromatherapy menu for our rooms. The housekeeping, valet, and other resort personnel were all personable. The restaurants at the resorts are amazing! The meals were delicious, and the drinks were exceptional. We spent a few days in the swim-up rooms and switched to the oceanfront view rooms. Both rooms were fantastic. Overall, it was a fantastic vacation.

We normally stay in Cancun but wanted to try something new. I’m so glad we chose to stay here! We had the most perfect time. I was nervous about something different especially during Covid I was afraid the service would not be well but it was good. I will say the towel service at the beach was not ideal but I’m not holding against the rest of our trip! The staff worked so hard and everything felt very safe. We were never without and we never waited very long at all for anything. Our room was adorable and everything about this place was wonderful. We will recommend to our friends and family and would definitely be more than happy to come back.

We arrived on a Monday when hurricane Zeta was scheduled to hit the area.There wasn't alot of information given by the resort for those of us arriving that day until you actually arrived.Given the fact that they had days to prepare for the upcoming event, they kind of dropped the ball.Restaurants were closed at 4:30 p.m. but they offered room service. Theselection was reduced which was fine and should have improved service for their guests.This wasn't the case.Pretty much everyone we talked with and including ourselves guests waited hours to get a meal that was cold and not appetizing. For the guests that arrived that day most went hungry. No alcohol was being served that day either.We stopped at the Duty Free store at the airport when we arrived.We solved the no alcohol problem ourselves. The excursions they offered on site were good.The only problem was wrong times for pickup for the excursion was put on your ticket or it was canceled.Which the staff working on the excursions didn't pass on to their guests until they showed up to go on them. We were able to fix these problems ourselves and make new arrangements. The resort has a concierge for every guest. Ours was good setting up reservations for dinner and did do a couple of minimal things for our special day. The resort also has agents that will try and sell you on staying at one of their other resorts in the future. They are relentless and remind you of a used car salesman. Our last day there was like a clip out of mission impossible trying to avoid them. We made a game of it which added fun.The overall experience at the resort was good considering the weather events when arriving.

Absolutely EXCELLENT! One of the best resorts I’ve been to In a while! The facilities were maintained very well and everything was clean! The service was amazing and all the staff were incredibly kind, patient and helpful! ALL of The food was amazing and the drinks were BOMB!! The amenities, including the spa 10/10! Me and my wife decided to spend our 2nd anniversary here because a couple friend’s have come and told us is pretty good! Well, it sure delivered!The hotel isn’t huge, it’s got 3 main dinner restaurants (Mexican,Italian and Japanese/Asian).Since we only spent 2 nights we only got to try the Mexican and Asian. They where both sooo good. I attach pictures of what we ordered and it was really tasty.Room service is pretty good too, it was delivered in time and we enjoyed it.There is a restaurant that serves both Breakfast and Lunch called 20-87 which I was told it was a buffet style but now due to Covid19 it’s an “á la carte“ restaurant (of course all inclusive).We got a great waiter called Antonio by the pool where there is a snack too and some good Mezcal Cocktails.Also in Mura Saul Toledo took great care of us, we truly enjoyed the experience.Special thanks to Diego Marquez, Chef Xavi Perez and Joel for the awesome time we had in Unico. We will definitely come back!

This hotel is one of the finest luxury all inclusive hotels that you will find in Cancun/Riviera Maya area. I enjoyed the scenery and the service was awesome. I was privileged to have been able to eat high-quality gourmet cuisine at the many restaurants that are included. The Beach front is easily accessible and provides beautiful scenery. My wife and I enjoyed the hot tub on the patio. The swimming pools are pristine and warm and easy to get into. The drinks are great and high-quality. I recommend the Tulum cocktail, it’s the right mix of sweet and spicy flavor.

Literal "una cosa de locos" tenía años sin sentirme en CASA quiero agradecer en especial a Agustín que hizo que todo fuera mágico, siempre atento, siempre en servicio, siempre a la orden...Un agradecimiento especial a Carlos Martinez por sus maneras de Ser y por cumplir y sorprenderme en su restaurant, algo que no pasaba hace tiempo, también al chef de ese restaurante por crear magia con la comida y sorprendernos, Rodomiro uno de los mejores en su área definitivamente, quiero hacer una especial mención para Luis Tamay que quizá sea alguien que no tenga ni un trabajo fijo (eso me lo invento) pero se encargo de hacer que mis días dentro del hotel fueran extraordinarios y regresaré para volver a saludarlo, un soldado fiel a la camiseta y que nunca me dijo que "NO" al final todos ellos hicieron que como hace años quisiera no irme del hotel... Feedback para el hotel las llaves de las habitaciones por favor que sean con braceletes y las entradas a los baños de los lugares públicos deben por regulación abrir hacia afuera una vez que estés dentro, ojo con eso... Antonio del restaurante Único una de las personas más serviciales y comprometida con su trabajo... En fin su personal el mejor recurso que tienen como empresa...

Realmente é um Resort de nível 5 diamantes, para quem procura um tratamento personalizado, um hotel de luxo, pode ir para o ÚNICO sem medo algum. Piscinas tops, 2 aquecidas, praia linda, não tinha sargaço quando fui, todos os restaurantes de nível sofisticados a la carte, tem um concierge, tipo um mordomo que cuida de tudo que você precisar na viagem, agradecer ao RÚBEN que foi essa pessoa que me ajudou, um cara muito legal e prestativo. Quem procura agito esse não é o lugar, o Resort é bem calmo, já tinha ficado no Hard Rock de punta cana e o estilo é bem diferente, muito mais animado. Resumindo: Resort luxuoso, tratamento espetacular, digno de 5 diamantes.

Beyond a doubt one of the nicest all-inclusive experiences I have ever had. This resort has everything you need and then some. The restaurants and food are absolutely delicious. I highly recommend ordering chicken fingers (with the spicy mayo) by the pool...you can't beat these panko breadcrumb treats! The spa was above and beyond and really perked what is an absolutely fabulous property.

My wife and I came to UNICO 2087 for our honeymoon and we absolutely loved everything the hotel. When you walk in, you are welcomed by the friendly staff and the amazing scent/smell of the lobby which invites a relaxing feeling. As we are getting checking in, we are welcomed to the hotel with the hotel’s signature “welcome drink” that we absolutely loved. We had a UNICO staff assigned to make sure our experience was amazing as he would occasionally touch base with us to make sure all is well. He had booked all our restaurants for us and we are thankful for his assistance. We pre-downloaded the UNICO 2087 app before we arrived and used the app to order food/drinks to our room or our pool chairs which was convenient. The pools are beautifully maintained and the drink options are significant and premium quality. A major highlight was our experience at the spa where we enjoyed the relaxing experience which included hydro therapy. We enjoyed the food at the restaurants as well as the coffee and snack items at the cafe. My wife fell in love with the robe that is included in the rooms, I ended up ordering her one and the lovely staff sent us the robe directly to our front door, thank you Hugo. We did not want to leave UNICO 2087, we can’t wait to come back one day.

You can’t go wrong at Unico. Our second stay here and it was just as amazing as the first. We have stayed here for 7 days at a time and it’s just too short. I think I understand how Kings live, to be catered to 24/7 is what The UNICO experience is all about. I’m a numbers guy and I love deals when your odds are real good. Staying here is actually cheaper than than you can possibly get on a per day cost than most high end trips. To get an ocean view and a modern room like the one we got here at UNICO and the unlimited food and beverages for 7 days would have cost me a small fortune in the U.S. and to add the 24/7 king royalty service you get when you first walk in and throughout your entire stay. Go ahead and do the math....$. I did, and that’s why I’m here the second time. And more trips to come!!!!!!!! Honestly, If you never leave for a tour, if you never book a spa appointment, and all you do is hangout on the beach, the pool, and your balcony, and eat their amazing food is well worth the cost. Plus it’s an adult only Resort, Just that thought alone Should spark your interest.

This place was AMAZING. completely exceeded our expectations! it was SO pretty, clean, accommodating, and more than we could have ever imagined. the staff was GREAT - prompt and extremely friendly! The food was THROUGH THE ROOF! The dinner restaurants made the trip amazing! The breakfast and lunch buffets were awesome too - generally the same thing but everyday the dishes were slightly changed - so fun! The ground are easily navigable. Small enough to walk but big enough to feel very private. The fact that it is adults only is the icing on the cake. We will return - such a treasure!!
