“I had high expectations as the hotel is supposed to be the best in Munich. The location is outstanding and that was the highlight.
From our initial arrival to our end of the stay, the staff could not have been less helpful or even happy to be here themselves. We were met with annoyed looks or huffs whenever we made a request. The shower in our room leaked, the room was extremely tiny, carpet stained, and chocolate or something smeared on the wall.
It was very clear that they were not interested in helping or changing our accommodations.
Restaurant and bar service was horrendous. But the food is amazing. It’s hard to be served amazing, lovely plated food with bad service. The chocolate cake and mango sorbet are to die for. It just takes 45 minutes. Just deliver it faster with care and concern for the experience and it changes everything.
The experience in a 5-star hotel is supposed to be above and beyond. This experience was anything but that. Not worth the price point. Visit a Rosewood property and you will understand.”
