We just came back from 4 days 3 nights pool villa stay. I highly recommend a stay here for extraordinary services from all staffs including ALL ; driver, reception, restaurants staffs, and Especially our butler, Khun Benz, Khun Sunny. It was way above par of all 5 stars hotel. - butler called us in advance of stay to check if we are allergic to any food. And check if it is any special occasion - we drink a lot of waters, and they know it 5-6 bottles extra water will always be provided - room is well decorated with good selection of modern chinese painting and antique furnitures,neatly clean everyday - small notes and gifts (weather forecasts note, easter egg chocolate) can really give a good heart warming for the guests - attentive service when requested without hesitation - hotel is not so hype of the tourist or instagramer so it is very quiet and relax, yet, not too empty. - fitness 24-7 We love the hotel and surely will recommend anyone to come

We had a short stay at Anantara Lawana as part of a mattress run in Koh Samui to compare & contrast various properties and better steer our future stays on the island.There are two Anantaras in Koh Samui and I picked Lawana because I thought there would be better potential for valuable upgrades as GHA Black guests than at the Bophut property which divides its room types in too many categories.Not only the upgrade turned out to be quite good at Lawana but other features of this hotel such as service and dining were strong points as well so I can recommend this hotel.When going to Koh Samui, Chaweng is the place to be.Anantara Lawana is not on Chaweng Beach but it could hardly be any closer.It is at the southern end of Nora Beach and Chaweng starts at the tip of the land where Nora Beach ends.I booked the Deluxe Plunge Pool room type which is one category above entry level and I received an upgrade as GHA Black guest to the Garden Pool Villa.The villa had traditional Thai design (like many Anantara properties) instead of generic look and feel of some other resorts.The room was not new and modern but I found the resort and the room to be well maintained and in good condition.The living room could be separated from the bedroom with doors but it was mostly for privacy because the wall panel did not extend all the way up to the cathedral ceilings.There was lots of outdoor space with a wooden patio around the private pool, some chairs were in the sun but there was also a covered seating area under the large sala.Both the toilet and the shower had a large window overlooking the pool area which provided great natural light inside the bathroom but because the vegetation at the end of the outdoor space was not as dense as it could be, people walking to their villa on the footpath could partially see us therefore it was better to draw the blinds down.There was also another shower outdoor which is a nice feature of tropical resorts; that shower was completely private.One evening we had the private beach dinner; the food during our dinner was good and service was excellent with various staff members stopping by to ensure we had a good time.Breakfast was also better than I expected at this hotel.They no longer have a buffet due to covid but the a la carte menu was excellent with delicious local options such as Kanom Jeen with crab.At Anantara Lawana guests can have a private butler, which is normally not found at hotels of this caliber; it contributed to Anantara punching above its weight in terms of service.Our butler visited us during our private dinner, also greeted us at breakfast, and proactively called Vana Belle (our next destination on our tour of Samui) on the day of our departure to find out at what time our room would be ready and she informed us during breakfast.It was clear that they tried to get ahead of guest needs and provided good service.Overall we enjoyed our stay at Anantara Lawana.The location, food, and quality of the villa were all satisfactory and the price tag was competitive with other (larger) hotel chains.The one drawback of Anantara is that most rooms / villas do not have sea views – for views then it is necessary to book the higher categories of rooms at a higher price.So for people who highly value views then there are probably other hotels which might be a better fit but for everything else Anantara is good value.

Lindo hotel com lindas piscinas privadas, equipe incrível e possivelmente o restaurante mais romântico e sofisticado de Koh Samui! Tree Tops é um paraíso gastronômico, que também atende veganos mediante solicitação. Parabéns ao GM e sua equipe altamente profissional e muito simpática por esta experiência! Eu recomendo totalmente Anantara Lawana e espero voltar em breve

A very special place for me and my wife, close to Samui airport, nice and friendly staff and has it's own beach. I would put this place at my top 3 vacation hideaway.

Beautiful hotel with lovely private pools, amazing staff and possibly the most romantic and sophisticated restaurant in Koh Samui! Tree Tops is a culinary heaven, which also caters to vegans upon request. Congratulations to the GM and his highly professional and very friendly staff for this experience! I fully recommend Anantara Lawana and hope to be back soon

Tem um quarto deluxe com piscina de imersão, quarto espaçoso, muito confortável. Há uma empregada para fornecer serviço de limpeza também. Impressionado com o serviço aqui. Toda equipe adorável

Ter a oportunidade de visitar Samui pela primeira vez (5-7 / 12/2020) Estou muito impressionado com este lugar. Todos os funcionários são muito simpáticos, hospitaleiros e um serviço excelente. Os cômodos são espaçosos e confortáveis. O café da manhã aqui é delicioso. Gosto do croissant e do Kanom Jeen com molho de caranguejo. (Outras coisas são deliciosas, mas eu gosto mais desses dois)

En base a las opiniones de aquí, nos decidimos por este hotel. Reservamos una noche para comprobar que realmente era lo ofrece. Nos alojamos en una habitación con piscina privada la 435. Muy bonita, el hotel también está muy bien con una ubicación muy buena delante del mar. El problema llega cuando nos vamos a dormir, cosa que fue imposible, un ruido en las paredes de una sala de máquinas de las piscinas lo hizo imposible durante toda la noche, también en la ventana del baño hay otros aparatos de aire que hacían mucho ruido. Por la mañana fui a quejarme, primero me atiende una señorita que como no sabía que decirme llamo a otra persona que parecía el responsable y nos ofreció un 15% de descuento, eso sí después de recriminarme que tenia que haber ido a quejarme a la recepción durante la madrugada. !donde se ha visto eso, llamar la atención a un cliente que va a quejarse! Nos fuimos a desayunar y después hacer el check out, entonces vino otra chica que hablaba un poco de español y le explique lo sucedido. Entonces fue hablar con otra persona mas responsable, que ya no nos ofrecía el 15% si no que fueramos a comer o cenar gratis cuando quisieramos. Yo le comenté que eso no era la solución, que habíamos perdido una noche de nuestras vacaciones y lo suyo seria que nos ofrecieran otra, y mas teniendo en cuenta que el hotel está haciendo promociones de todas sus habitaciones. Me dijo que ni hablar y que el descuento tampoco, y que eso es lo que había. Muy desagradable. Les dije que no necesitaba una cena gratis. Un hotel que pretende ser de esta categoría no puede tratar así a los huéspedes. Otra cosa, en el check in nos hicieron esperar 25 minutos, en la habitación no había ni cepillo de dientes, ni maquinilla de afeitar, lo comenté en recepción y la respuesta fue que eso es bajo demanda!!!! En cualquier hotel lo ponen. Pero bueno, lo peor ha sido que nos ha estropeado un día que pretendía ser estupendo. Teníamos la intención de continuar nuestras vacaciones en este resort, pero buscaremos otro que realmente esté a la altura de lo que ofrece. Si reserváis, aseguraros que la habitación sea silenciosa. Por cierto pagamos 254€ por una noche, con descuento de genius en booking. Los responsables de recepción no están a la altura, no saben tratar a los clientes. En esta zona hay muchos resorts, comparar bien.

La habitaciones, el trato y las instalaciones insuperables al igual que los desayunos y el personal. Lo único que yo mejoraría es la temperatura de la piscina. Fuera hace mucho calor y se espera que esté bastante más fría de lo que estaba cuando estuvimos alojados.

This is by far the most luxurious resort that we've been to. So awesome that we spent most of our stay there in the room. 😋😋 Even though we originally booked at different Anantara resort but due to unforeseen emergency renovation they need to do on our original room, we were moved to this resort. But Anantara had made up for our inconvenience by giving us the pool villa along with 5k bht dining money for us to spend on our meals including room service. 😁😁The private pool was secure enough for my wife to take a swim without her scarf. And I love the hospitality from the staff. Each of them are super friendly especially the housekeeping who always leave us a personal note written on the leave everyday when she drops by to turn down our room for the night.Overall, I love my stay here and I'm grateful that I'm one of the owners in Anantara to enjoy the membership perks and benefits. Truly recommended!

If I could give this place 10 stars I would. The facilities are superb, the staff are warm and friendly and tend to your every need. From the GM to the gardener, I was welcomed and felt special. The chef at Tree Tops restaurant came to our table and took time to chat with us. The food there was amazing. I highly recommend this resort if you want first class accommodations and an unforgettable experience.

Hotel muy bonito, habitación con piscina privada. Piscina común, playa, tres restaurantes, uno de ellos tree restaurant recomendable.

Se trata de un resort de 5 estrellas! Pasé cuatro noches durante mi luna de miel y decir que sólo tengo buen recuerdo de este lugar. Es un complejo amplio con varios servicios, habitación grandes, muy limpias y cómodas. A la cama le doy un 10! La playa pequeña y tranquila, vigilada para la tranquilidad de los clientes. La piscina fantástica que tiene unas vistas que enamoran. El desayuno con más variedad y calidad que he visto hasta ahora. Estaba todo realmente rico! Las cenas también espectaculares con una comida Thai que quita el sentido. Pero lo mejor de todo el resort es el servicio. Trabajadores tremendamente amables y educados que con una sonrisa se interesan en todo momento por tu estado, pendientes de que no te falte de nada. Gracias a ellos, a cada uno de los que nos han atendido, porque han conseguido que el recuerdo sea inolvidable. Gracias por la maravillosa estancia que hemos pasado mi mujer y yo!

Lujo asiático. Espectacular enclave en Samui. Esta todo muy bien cuidado y todos los trabajadores son muy simpáticos y serviciales (cómo de costumbre en Tailandia). El hotel se encuentra a unos 20 minutos andando de la cuidad de Chaweng, dónde hay muchas tiendas y restaurantes. Justo en frente al hotel hay un 7-eleven (se agradece para pequeñas compras y es barato).

Un hotel espectacular. El personal tremendamente amable. No falta un detalle en la habitación y el complejo. Es todo un acierto venir aquí.

Un gran hotel para relajarse con grandes instalaciones y toda clase de lujos. Muy recomendables las habitaciones con piscina privada para desconectar totalmente. Algunos servicios no llegan a estar al nivel de un 5 estrellas español pero el servicio es muy atento y el desayuno es algo espectacular.
