“Property is need of some overdue reservation.
The big shock from here is that the WHOLE building is either on heat or cooling due to their piping system. My room was facing the evening sun and was pretty hot, with no air conditioning. The front desk had housekeeping bring a room fan by and I was able to open up a window. It was tolerable....but I'm not sure if I would stay here again because of not having any control over my room's temperature.
The hotel is in an ideal location if flying out of O'Hare. Absolutely no doubt about that. First floor was exactly what you would expect from a Hilton hotel. Staff, food, shops, and restaurant was just superb.
However, the rooms were a bit disappointing. The room was clean and decor nice. However, the decor was completely outdated. Paint was peeling in some parts of the ceiling. And again, if I didn't already turn in my rental car, I probably would have left for another hotel since air conditioning was not available on the property.
I hope someone from the hotel and/or Hilton reads this. It's a great property, but needs some changes desperately. With the perfect location, they have guaranteed business.”
