“My boyfriend and I just got back from a week-long stay at the Royalton Hideaway. For those looking for an adults-only resort, this is NOT it.They advertise that it is adults only but it is misleading.It has 2 buildings of rooms, one pool with a bar, one restaurant and a small beach section with a bar that is adults only.The rest is open to all ages.So, if you are looking for dining, entertainment, beaches, multiple pool options without kids around...this resort is not for you.I do not mind kids (I have kids) but I wanted an adults-only because I was not bringing my kids and that is not what I got.Others we talked to were also disappointed in this.Aside from that, the grounds are well kept, the food was delicious, the drinks were good and the beach was beautiful (Although always choppy) Antonio at the beach bar knew our drinks the second he saw us, and Juan at the Hideaway pool bar always had a smile, both were excellente.If you go to the spa for a massage you have to ask for Leonilda! She was amazing!!If you are part of the adults-only, let Edgar bring you a toffee coffee (I don’t even like coffee) at the breakfast restaurant!! Things I feel that need improvement are; Beach loungers.There are not enough and some of the little that are there are reserved with the cabanas (which sat empty 90% of the time) The cabanas by the pool did not have a single rental the entire time we were there and there were plenty of times guests struggled or could not find a lounger by the pool.I would have been very disappointed if I paid for and was expecting adults only but had to lounge in the main pool area. The entertainment was severely lacking.The adults' pool bar closed at 10, I think the adults' beach one did too... We tried to find dancing or music but the one time we found music and dancing it was over very quickly. Do not come here for nightlife.... Lastly, COVID tests should be automatically booked by the front desk at check-in (or when you book your trip) and if you want to switch it, then go through the hassle of making your own appointment.We wasted hours in total (because we went, waited then got turned away for a 2-hour lunch break, then had to come back again to wait in a long line up) It’s a very flawed process that could be easily taken care of by automatically booking.”

Asked for triple occupation and it was confirmed,however, when we came the room was small, everything was set up for two people and the room itself was so dated.This resort positions itself as 5 stars hotel, but when you have to ask to refill soap and shampoo, it is not anymore.We did not get refill even water bottles for 2 days. ( tips were given in case somebody asks) Hideaway pool and beach are very small. On top of everything, Sunwing moved our flight back to earlier time and we were not notified about this... We just found out about this accidentallyand almost missed our flight home. On positive note, most people who work there are nice and hard-working, our big thanks to our butler Victor. Overall, this place is too expensive for what this resort could offer

Employees damp mop slippery tile floors leaving them wet with no wet floor signs. I was the third person that slipped and fell in the same spot within a few minutes according to witnesses. Paid out of pocket for massage that made me feel better. Water go into the rooms when it rains flooding the rooms and getting guests personal items soaked.

Remember to use Hᴏᴛᴇʟʙᴏʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏᴍ when booking a room. This website will compare countless booking web sites and typically will have rates much cheaper compared to others! Thank me later on! This hotel is the best rated in this area. I have been coming here for years. If you decide to stay here you for sure won't regret it. Fantastic property, fantastic staff that is concerned to make sure you have the best vacation. Everyone is super personable and friendly. Any minor concerns we had were quickly resolved! I would recommend this property to all my friends and family and we absolutely will be staying again!

Foi muito relaxante e bonito. Eu daria uma classificação mais alta, mas acontece que a equipe de lá recebe salários extremamente baixos. It was very relaxing and beautiful. I would give a higher rating, but it turns out the staff there is paid extremely low wages. For all the money thousands of people spend here each week, you would think Marriott would pay them more. I understand why the staff are constantly trying to sell things, they only make enough to survive if you tip and buy. It would definitely be better if the staff was paid enough to really care about the guests. But, when people are scared they won't be able to eat or take care of their families, faking it can only go so far.

As vistas aqui são lindas e os funcionários em sua maioria foram muito simpáticos, porém pagamos pelo Diamond Club que é a acomodação mais cara que eles têm, e demoramos 2 horas para fazer o check-in. Além disso, o processo de agendamento seu teste Covid levou mais de uma hora. Então, 3 horas das minhas férias ficaram esperando na fila porque são muito ineficientes. Tivemos uma suíte aquática que eu amei, mas o banheiro era muito pequeno, e o chuveiro vazava no chão, então sempre tínhamos que ter uma toalha que estava molhada e irritante. A comida é um 6 na melhor das hipóteses, mas as bebidas eram boas na maior parte. O aluguel das cabanas também era acessível. A piscina para adultos deve ser aquela com o bar aquático, mas por algum motivo essa é a piscina familiar lotada. Então, se você quiser bebidas na piscina para adultos, você precisa sair e caminhar até o bar. No geral, foram ótimas férias, mas este lugar precisa de algum trabalho.

Reservamos um quarto como membro do clube de diamantes. Quando chegamos em nosso quarto, o quarto estava quente, não havia papel higiênico no quarto e nos disseram para esperar em nosso quarto e nosso mordomo estaria disposto a explicar tudo para nós. O ar condicionado não estava funcionando no nosso quarto. 3 horas depois, o “mordomo” ainda não havia aparecido. Voltamos para fazer o check-in para descobrir que ele havia saído para o dia. Não há elevador e o hotel é mais antigo. O chuveiro do nosso quarto vaza por todo o chão do banheiro devido à necessidade de substituição da proteção contra respingos. A equipe é agradável, mas nosso primeiro dia não começou bem. Temos mais 3 dias aqui. Vamos ver se eles podem viver de acordo com as fotos do site. Eu não voltaria para férias aqui novamente ... tantos outros lugares que são muito melhores para o dinheiro.

The views here are beautiful and the staff for the most part was very friendly, however we paid for Diamond Club which is the most expensive accommodations they have, and it took us 2 hours to check in. In addition to that, the process to schedule your Covid test took over an hour. So 3 hours of my vacation stuck waiting in line because they are very inefficient. We had a swim up suite which I loved but the bathroom was very small, and the shower leaked onto the floor so we always had to have a towel down which was wet and annoying. The food is a 6 at best, but the drinks were good for the most part. The cabana rentals were affordable as well. The adult pool should be the one with the swim up bar, but for some reason that is the crowded family pool. So if you want drinks at the adult pool you have to get out and walk to the bar. Overall it was a great vacation but this place needs some work.

We booked a room as a diamond club member. When we checked in our room, the room was hot, there was no toilet paper in the room and we were told to wait in our room and our butler would be up to explain everything to us. The air conditioner wasn’t working in our room. 3 hours later, the “butler” still hadn’t shown up. We went back down to check-in to find out that he had left for the day. There is no elevator and the hotel is older. The shower in our room leaks all over the bathroom floor due to the splash guard needing to be replaced. The staff is pleasant but our first day has not started off well at all. We have 3 more days here. We’ll see if they can live up to their website photos. I would not come back to vacation here again....so many other places that are so much better for the money.

A bela equipe do Resort foi incrível nosso barman Juan e Gracie muito simpáticos, David instrutor de fitness para ioga de primeira qualidade e Jean Paul, nosso cara de entretenimento, foi divertido e doce! Deixe-me falar sobre o nosso mordomo Christian ele estava em contato diariamente fez todas as nossas reservas no spa e jantares. Além disso, ele se certificou de que nossa estadia foi ótima e sempre foi acima. Não havia um dia em que ele não viesse nos ver e se certificasse de que tínhamos todos os preparativos para a partida. Elegante e gentil o serviço de mordomo valeu cada centavo. O único clube noturno de reclamação não estava aberto, então a vida noturna era um pouco chata!

Muito pequeno! Não há cadeiras de praia disponíveis, então tivemos que ficar no resort nas proximidades para estar na praia. Todo o entretenimento está fechado devido ao Covid. É fevereiro de 2022. Não sei por que isso não ficou claro quando a reserva foi feita. Não há nada dizendo sobre restrições vívidas no site. Ainda estamos aqui e não aproveitando nada!

Beautiful Resort staff was Amazing our Bartender Juan and Gracie very friendly, David fitness instructor for yoga top notch and Jean Paul our entertainment guy was fun and sweet! Let me talk about our Butler Christian he was in contact daily made all of our reservations in the spa and dinners. As well he made sure our stay was great and alway went above. There wasn't a day he didn't come and see us and made sure we had all the preparations for departure. Classy and Kind the Butler service was worth every penny. The only complaint night club wasn't open so night life was a little boring!

Very small! No available beach chairs so we had to stay at the resort nearby to be on the beach. All entertainment is closed due to Covid. It’s Feb 2022. Not sure why this wasn’t clear when the booking was made. There is nothing saying about vivid restrictions on the site. We are still here and not enjoying at all!

Pague mas de 4,000 dolares para una habitación para 4 personasy el baño apenas cabe una personaeso de Diamond Club es un engaño porque mi amiga tenia una habitacion arriba de mi y no era Diamondel supuesto mayordomo nunca fue a mi habitacion para nadalas puertas de los cuartos son feas y viejas ,las comidas estaban buenas y el trato del personal, pero me senti engañada con eso del Del Diamond Clubpague mucho dinero para recibir un mejortratocreo que no vuelvo..ni mi fam tampoco he ido a otros en punta cana no he pagado tanto y me he sentido mejor..Gracias fui del 10-14 de febrero 2022

Este lugar é um dos mais bem avaliados da região. Venho aqui há muito tempo. Ozuna do bar do The Hideaway prestou um serviço excepcional para todas as nossas necessidades. Foi acima e além!Nós nos divertimos muito com Jean Paul, Alejandro, Willqui da equipe vibe com os jogos duas vezes ao dia e a atmosfera divertida.Victor das aulas de fitness foi divertido e criou um tempo incrível na piscina!Nosso mordomo Christin foi muito prestativo, educado e muito acessível. EQUIPE ABSOLUTAMENTE INCRÍVEL! Não consigo nem explicar como as pessoas legais trabalham em Hideaway Royalton Punta Cana. Eu viajo muito, mas tivemos o melhor serviço até agora. Passamos 2 semanas lá em janeiro de 2022. O Hideaway faz parte do Royalton Punta Cana. É um pouco menor do que esperávamos, mas muito espaço para férias relaxantes de adultos. Há praia com um bar apenas para os hóspedes do Hideaway. Escolhemos nosso quarto com antecedência e pagamos US$ 50 pela vista para o mar. A vista era deslumbrante. Absolutamente de tirar o fôlego. Mas o quarto em si não era, infelizmente. O quarto parece bastante datado. Ele definitivamente precisa de atualização. Houve alguns problemas com o padrão de compensação, então deixamos uma nota para o serviço de limpeza para limpá-los. Alguns deles foram limpos, outros não. Sabíamos que usaríamos o quarto apenas para dormir, então não mencionamos nada na recepção. Mas alguns dias depois, precisávamos fazer uma reclamação sobre a limpeza, pois nosso quarto não estava limpo adequadamente. Depois disso, o padrão de limpeza realmente melhorou. Eu preferiria não reclamar e acertar desde o início, mas entendo que erros podem acontecer. Nosso restaurante favorito era Dorato. O atendimento lá foi excepcional! Os caras lá trabalham muito para agradar a todos os hóspedes. Gostaria de mencionar Ricardo, Eudi, Eduardo, Ramirez e o senhor Baron, que cuidou de nós desde o primeiro dia. Nos divertimos muito com eles e sentimos muita falta deles. Além disso, as anfitriãs do Dorado, Barbara e Christina foram muito agradáveis. Eles se lembraram do nosso nome depois de alguns dias. Também comemos no Steakhouse, Jade, italiano e buffet. Nós gostamos de todos esses restaurantes e a comida também era muito boa lá. The Hideaway tem 2 bares, um na praia e outro na área da piscina. Angelo, Leonela, Yason e Antonio trabalharam em um bar de praia e fizeram coquetéis e atmosfera incríveis para nós todas as vezes. No bar da piscina, Gracey, Eduardo, Yasmerlin e Juan cuidaram dos convidados. Nós os amamos. Eles sempre sorriam. E você precisa experimentar cerveja pequena lá :) Os caras do Vibeteam mantêm você entretido o tempo todo. Jean Paul, Louise e Will sempre garantiram que nossa estadia fosse boa e estamos felizes. Você pode pedir petiscos de piscina/praia, que são bem legais, e Jean Carol entrega pra você. Há um programa noturno no Royalton Hotel. Em Hideaway, o programa noturno foi útil das 18h às 20h, o que não nos agradou, pois jantamos nesse horário, mas na última noite de nossa estadia houve noite de karaokê e nos divertimos muito. Há também o Royalton Splash, que você pode usar. Mas não recomendo de forma alguma. Jantamos no restaurante mexicano lá. A equipe foi hostil. Esperamos quase 45 minutos para obter água uniforme, então não perca seu tempo e coma e aproveite o restaurante Dorado ou alguns dos restaurantes Royalton. Eu absolutamente recomendo o Hideaway at Royalton. É um hotel muito bom com uma praia deslumbrante e um serviço ainda melhor. Mal posso esperar para voltar e ver nossos novos amigos novamente.

Meu namorado e eu acabamos de voltar de uma estadia de uma semana no Royalton Hideaway. Para quem procura um resort apenas para adultos, não é isso. Eles anunciam que é apenas para adultos, mas é enganoso. Tem 2 edifícios de quartos, uma piscina com bar, um restaurante e uma pequena zona de praia com um bar só para adultos. O resto é aberto a todas as idades. Portanto, se você procura refeições, entretenimento, praias, várias opções de piscina sem crianças ao redor...este resort não é para você. Eu não me importo com crianças (tenho filhos), mas eu queria um só para adultos porque não estava trazendo meus filhos e não foi isso que consegui. Outros com quem conversamos também ficaram desapontados com isso. Além disso, os jardins são bem conservados, a comida deliciosa, as bebidas eram boas e a praia era linda (embora sempre agitada) Antonio no bar da praia conhecia nossas bebidas no segundo em que nos viu, e Juan no bar da piscina Hideaway sempre tinha um sorriso, ambos eram excelentes. Se for ao spa para uma massagem tem que pedir a Leonilda! Ela foi incrível!! Se você faz parte do grupo só para adultos, deixe o Edgar trazer um café toffee (eu nem gosto de café) no restaurante do café da manhã !! Coisas que eu sinto que precisam ser melhoradas são; Espreguiçadeiras de praia. Não há o suficiente e algumas das poucas que existem são reservadas com as cabanas (que ficavam vazias 90% do tempo) As cabanas à beira da piscina não tinham um único aluguel o tempo todo em que estivemos lá e houve muitas vezes os hóspedes lutaram ou não conseguiram encontrar uma espreguiçadeira à beira da piscina. Eu teria ficado muito desapontado se eu paguei e estava esperando apenas adultos, mas tive que relaxar na área principal da piscina. O entretenimento foi severamente carente. O bar da piscina dos adultos fechou às 10, acho que o da praia dos adultos também... Tentamos encontrar dança ou música, mas a única vez que encontramos música e dança acabou muito rapidamente. Não venha aqui para a vida noturna.... Por fim, os testes COVID devem ser reservados automaticamente pela recepção no check-in (ou quando você reserva sua viagem) e, se você quiser trocá-lo, passe pelo incômodo de fazer sua própria consulta. Perdemos horas no total (porque fomos, esperamos e fomos afastados por um intervalo de 2 horas para o almoço, depois tivemos que voltar novamente para esperar em uma longa fila) É um processo muito falho que poderia ser facilmente resolvido por reserva automática.

Went above and beyond!We had a great time with Jean Paul, Alejandro, Willqui from the vibe team with the twice daily games and the fun atmosphere.Victor from the fitness classes was fun and created an amazing time in the pool!Our Butler Christin was very helpful, polite, and very approachable. Was very helpful! He was able to give us great advice on various things.Overall the entire team made the entire trip amazing, we wish we could have stayed longer! We can’t get back soon enough! We are ready to book our next stay back!

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING STAFF! I can't even explain how nice people work in Hideaway Royalton Punta Cana. I travel a lot but we had the best service there so far. We spent 2 weeks there in January 2022. The Hideaway is part of the Royalton Punta Cana. It's a little smaller than we expected, but plenty of space for relaxing adults' holidays. There is beach with a bar only for Hideaway guests. We chose our room in advance and paid $50 for the ocean view. The view was stunning. Absolutely breathtaking. But the room itself wasn't, unfortunately. The room looks quite dated. It definitely needs refresh. There were some issues with clearing standard, so we left a note for housekeeping to clean them. Some of them were cleaned, some not. We knew we would be using room only for sleeping, so we didn't mention anything at the reception. But a few days later we needed to raise a complaint about cleaning as our room wasn't cleaned properly. After that the cleaning standard really improved. I would prefer not to complain and had it right from the beginning, but I understand that mistakes can happen. Our favourite restaurant was Dorato. The service there was exceptional! The guys there work really hard to please every guest. I would love to mention Ricardo, Eudi, Eduardo, Ramirez, and senor Baron, who took care of us from the first day. We had lots of fun with them and we miss them a lot. Also, hostesses at Dorado, Barbara, and Christina were very nice. They remembered our name after a few days. We also ate at Steakhouse, Jade, Italian one and buffet. We like all these restaurants and food was also really good there. The Hideaway has 2 bars, one on the beach and one in the pool area. Angelo, Leonela, Yason and Antonio worked in a beach bar and made amazing cocktails and atmosphere for us each time. In the pool bar, Gracey, Eduardo, Yasmerlin, and Juan took care of the guests. We love them. They always smiled. And you need to try small beer there :) Guys from Vibeteam keep you entertained all the time. Jean Paul, Louise, and Will always made sure our stay was okay, and we are happy. You can order pool/beach snacks, which are really nice, and Jean Carol will deliver them to you. There is a night program at Royalton Hotel. In Hideaway, the night program was useful from 6pm-8pm, which didn't suit us, as we had dinner at that time, but last night of our stay there was karaoke night and we had so much fun. There is also Royalton Splash, which you can use. But I do not recommend it at all. We had dinner at the Mexican restaurant there. The staff was unfriendly. We waited almost 45 minutes to get even water, so don't waste your time and rather eat and enjoy Dorado restaurant or some of Royalton restaurants. I absolutely recommend the Hideaway at Royalton. It's a really good hotel with a stunning beach and an even better service. I can't wait to go back and see our new friends again.

My boyfriend and I just got back from a week-long stay at the Royalton Hideaway. For those looking for an adults-only resort, this is NOT it.They advertise that it is adults only but it is misleading.It has 2 buildings of rooms, one pool with a bar, one restaurant and a small beach section with a bar that is adults only.The rest is open to all ages.So, if you are looking for dining, entertainment, beaches, multiple pool options without kids around...this resort is not for you.I do not mind kids (I have kids) but I wanted an adults-only because I was not bringing my kids and that is not what I got.Others we talked to were also disappointed in this.Aside from that, the grounds are well kept, the food was delicious, the drinks were good and the beach was beautiful (Although always choppy) Antonio at the beach bar knew our drinks the second he saw us, and Juan at the Hideaway pool bar always had a smile, both were excellente.If you go to the spa for a massage you have to ask for Leonilda! She was amazing!!If you are part of the adults-only, let Edgar bring you a toffee coffee (I don’t even like coffee) at the breakfast restaurant!! Things I feel that need improvement are; Beach loungers.There are not enough and some of the little that are there are reserved with the cabanas (which sat empty 90% of the time) The cabanas by the pool did not have a single rental the entire time we were there and there were plenty of times guests struggled or could not find a lounger by the pool.I would have been very disappointed if I paid for and was expecting adults only but had to lounge in the main pool area. The entertainment was severely lacking.The adults' pool bar closed at 10, I think the adults' beach one did too... We tried to find dancing or music but the one time we found music and dancing it was over very quickly. Do not come here for nightlife.... Lastly, COVID tests should be automatically booked by the front desk at check-in (or when you book your trip) and if you want to switch it, then go through the hassle of making your own appointment.We wasted hours in total (because we went, waited then got turned away for a 2-hour lunch break, then had to come back again to wait in a long line up) It’s a very flawed process that could be easily taken care of by automatically booking.

Acabei de voltar de uma semana no Royalton Hideaway. Foi uma experiência ótima! A comida era excelente, tenho um estômago sensível e não tive queixas. O atendimento ao cliente era ainda maior, desde o motorista do ônibus de traslado até cada garçom que tínhamos e bartender que conhecemos. Adorei encontrar tantas pessoas com histórias diferentes. Eu realmente me diverti e estou ansioso para voltar! O ambiente era acolhedor e familiar, isso é exatamente o que você quer quando está de férias e muita diversão! O que eu não gostei foram as pessoas com direito que tratariam o pessoal como lixo. Eu testemunhei isso em duas ocasiões e não fiquei feliz com isso. Somos todos humanos e merecemos o mesmo respeito. Fora isso, recomendo 1000%!

I just came back from a week at Royalton Hideaway. It was such a great experience! The food was excellent, I have a sensitive stomach and I had no complaints. Customer service was even greater, from the shuttle bus driver to every waiter we had and bartender we met. I loved that we came across so many people with different stories. I truly enjoyed myself and look forward to going back! The atmosphere was welcoming and homey, thats exactly what you want when you are vacationing and lots of fun! What I did not like were the entitled people who would treat the staff like trash. I witnessed it on two occasions and was not happy about it. We are all human and deserve the same respect. Other than that, I recommend 1000%!

El menú muy variado e incluso alimentos para las personas que comen saludable.Leche sin lactosa y de almendra esto es bueno para la personas con intolerancia a lactosa. Las cosas que deben mejorar por ejemplo el gimnasio lo cierran muy temprano, el restaurante italiano las luces son muy tené para las personas con problemas visuales está poco iluminado.El área de solo adultos no es tal ya que se observan familias con niños.El área del café muy bueno.Los show son de calidad.El restaurante de carnes es muy bueno el chef y el encargado de cocina van por las mesas para ver si estamos satisfechos con el servicio.El hotel en sentido general es muy bueno solo deben mejorar esos aspectos mencionados y quitar el solo adultos porque eso no es real.

The staff at the poolside bar were extremely friendly. Juan, Greizy, Jean-Paul, Maria, Edward and Frederick made our vacation extra special. They attended to our every need before we needed it. Highly recommend this adults only Royalton. Food at the buffet was fresh and delicious. So many choices whether it was breakfast, lunch or dinner. Only negative comment, last day of our vacation, room air conditioner broke. Definately will return to see our new DR friends.

The overall resort, grounds, service, room is 5 stars. Hideaway pool and beach bars, lounge, Valentin our butler. F&B is 3.5. Room service should be avoided. But we had fantastic meals at most of the restaurants on the actual Royalton Hotel property which can be accessed as a Hideaway guest. I highly recommend the Diamond club to get butler service who literally did everything we asked and more. Also the Diamond club beach bar is an added bonus for lunch or drinks. Top notch resort which will only get better with Marriott Hotels and Autograph Collection name behind it (it’s been three weeks for hotel with Autograph brand)

Super simpática e sempre te cumprimentará com um sorriso e mostra verdadeiro interesse pelo hóspede no resort. Ele vai além, algo muito difícil de encontrar hoje em dia. O Lorenzo (na limpeza) também vai deixar o seu quarto impecável, ótimo trabalhador, mas uma pessoa ainda melhor! The stay at Royalton has been an amazing one, great food and amazing resort layout. Ozuna (from the Hideaway bar) was the best! Super friendly and will always greet you with a smile and shows true interest for the guest at the resort. He goes above and beyond, which is something very hard to find nowadays. Lorenzo (in cleaning) will also leave your room looking spotless, great worker but an even better person! The experience at Hideaway is great, but these two men have made it outstanding with there down to earth personalities and passion for their work.

Já estive em Royalton no passado e também me tornei membro do clube de diamantes. Eu não sabia que o refúgio não é um resort separado. É uma pequena área com portas de vaivém de madeira para privacidade perto da parte traseira do resort Royalton. Eu estava procurando apenas por adultos, mas ainda assim vejo crianças por toda parte. Eu não queria ver ou ouvir uma criança. Eu queria férias de um adulto. Os funcionários foram muito amigáveis, mas eu não me sentia um membro do clube de diamantes. Meu quarto era básico e não era perto da área de refúgio para adultos, eu estava perto e de frente para a piscina da família. Houve também outros problemas menores com o quarto e alguns foram atendidos 2 dias depois. Falei com a recepção sobre isso e ela realmente não disse muito e não tentou me fazer entender por que eu não estava perto da área de refúgio. Eu entendo que é uma pandemia, mas paguei para me esconder. Não estou feliz com isso, mas a comida e as bebidas são boas. Fui para um refúgio em Cancún e foi muito, muito melhor.

I have been to Royalton in the past and also became a diamond club member. I didn’t know that the hideaway isn’t a separate resort. It’s a small area with wooden swing doors for privacy near the rear of the Royalton resort. I was looking for adults only but yet I see kids all over. I didn’t want to see or hear a child. I wanted an adult vacation. The employees were very friendly but I didn’t feel like a diamond club member. My room was basic and it was not near the hideaway- adult area, I was near and facing the family pool. There were also other minor issues with the room and some were taken care of 2 days later. I spoke to reception about it and she didn’t really say much and didn’t try to make me understand why I wasn’t near the hideaway area. I understand it’s a pandemic but I paid for hideaway. I’m not happy with that but the food and drinks are good. I went to hideaway in Cancun and it was much much better.

Very nice hotel. Beautiful beach. Great drinks and food. However, the service is lacking and very slow. We were there on our honeymoon and it took the hotel 7 days and countless reminders to decorate the room, which they should have done before our arrival since we informed them prior to our arrival.

It was cool but it wasn’t great. Some of the staff were upset that we didn’t understand Spanish. We chose to stay in an Adults Only hotel, however, there were kids almost everywhere. Running around the bar, in the hideaway exclusive restaurants, etc. the food also wasn’t that great except at Jade and the Seafood Grill restaurant. Our passports were missing for 2 days (we got them back). Also, the location wasn’t the best. It’s also cool to travel off the resort but of course you have to be careful. I would definitely come back to Punta Cana, but I would choose a different resort. To be honest, the best part of our experience was Jean Paul. He kept the party going and tried to make sure we had the best time at the pool.

Las personas un 100 sin quejas pero la comida deja mucho que desear la bebida tanto refrescos jugos cerveza no hay dios que se tome eso en fin muchas cosas negativa que me tomaría mucho tiempo a una cosa importante no se si fue el gerente o algún directivo del hotel más de dos ocasiones me lo encontré de frente y ni los buenos días a lo contrario de los trabajadores que se desviven en amabilidad tiene a los trabajadores pasando trabajos innecesario por ejemplo poda de ramas con machetes no no no puedo seguir me tomaría mucho tiempo relatar lo mal que lo pasamos en este hotel no regreso

Eu gosto da seção Hideaway porque é apenas para adultos. Boas instalações, piscinas e bares. Licor de primeira, se você fizer o clube do diamante. Os restaurantes em geral eram justos. Fazer reservas para o jantar foi um desafio. Acabei comendo no Dorado principalmente porque é onde você acaba se você não consegue fazer uma reserva em outro restaurante que fica lotado por volta das 8h. Finalmente reclamou e eles nos deixaram entrar na churrascaria uma noite. A praia é legal, do lado do Atlântico, então muito vento e ondas dificultando o mergulho com snorkel. Provavelmente irá experimentar o lado caribenho se voltarmos.

I like the Hideaway section because it's adults only. Nice facilities, pools and bars. Top shelf liquor if you do the diamond club. Restaurants overall were fair. Making dinner reservations was a challenge. Ended up eating at Dorado mostly because that is where you end up if you can't get a reservation at another dinner restaurant which get booked up by 8am. Finally complained and they let us in to the steakhouse one night. Beach is nice, on the Atlantic side, so lots of wind and waves making it difficult to snorkel. Will probably try the Caribbean side if we go back.

Meu marido e eu passamos uma semana aqui para o aniversário dele. Nós apreciamos muito a nossa visita! Eu senti que eles faziam o distanciamento social da melhor forma possível. Os jardins são lindos e bem conservados, o nosso quarto era muito limpo. O buffet fica um pouco lotado nos finais de semana, mas a comida é muito boa e gostamos também do Dorado. Christian foi nosso mordomo e ele foi excelente, muito sensível às perguntas (minha primeira visita, então eu tive muito) e fez com que nossa estadia fosse especial. Juan no bar Hideaway foi incrível e fez as melhores margaritas que já tive! A única área com a qual ficamos desapontados foi que a lista de atividades diárias nunca parecia atualizada. Não sei porquê mas valeu a pena procurar as diferentes actividades por conta própria. A equipe é fantástica, principalmente Michel e Edward!

My husband and I enjoyed a week here for his birthday. We enjoyed our visit very much! I felt like they did social distancing as well as possible. The grounds are gorgeous and well maintained, our room was very clean. The buffet gets a bit crowded on weekends but has very good food and we also liked the Dorado. Christian was our butler and he was outstanding, very responsive to questions (my first visit so I had a lot) and made sure our stay was special. Juan at the Hideaway bar was amazing and made the best margaritas I've ever had! The only area we were disappointed in was that the daily activity list never seemed up to date. I don't know why but it was worth the effort to seek out the different activities on our own. The staff is fantastic, particularly Michel and Edward!

This is place it's not what it used to be anymore, due to the lack of proper maintenance, this is no longer a 5 star resort, it's more like a 3-1/2 resort. In our room, the tv wasn't working properly, wifi signal was very weak, the shower door leaked quite a bit of water, the light on the night stand will not turn off, the closet light will come on and off at random times and the shower control valve was really hard to operate. Outside the hideaway the drinks are really watered down, we spend quite a bit of time walking back to the hideaway lounge to get a drink. Overall the food was good, other than one guy at the main lobby bar, the service was good. Will not be going back anytime soon.

As melhores férias de sempre !!! AMEI!!! Desfrutou cada minuto ali! Combinado com o Diamond club, eu consideraria um 6 estrelas com tudo incluído. O lugar é realmente POSH. Nosso mordomo, Cristian, curvou-se para trás para nos pegar o que quer que pedíssemos. A piscina estava um pouco lotada, mas não era ruim. E o bar da piscina foi ótimo com os melhores barmen de todos os tempos. Juan e Maria foram ótimos. O bar de faia Hideaway também foi muito bom. O maiô foi incrível e passamos muito tempo na nossa "piscina privada"! O restaurante Dorado servia ótimos jantares, mas o café da manhã e o almoço eram muito melhores no buffet regular. Nós voltaríamos em um piscar de olhos! Recomendo totalmente a todos.

The best vacation ever!!! LOVED IT!!! Enjoed every minute there! Combined with Diamond club I would consider it to be a 6 star all-inclusive. The place is really POSH. Our butler, Cristian, bent over backwards to get us whatever we asked for. The pool was somewhat crowded, but it wasn't bad. And the pool bar was great with the best bartenders ever. Juan and Maria were great. The Hideaway beech bar was also very nice. Swim-out suit was amazing and we did spend a lot of time at our "private pool"! Dorado restaurant served some great dinners, but breakfast and lunch were much better at regular buffet. We would return in a heartbeat! Totally recommend to everybody.

A equipe foi super agradável. Tudo estava limpo e não havia muitas pessoas. Hideaway tem sua própria piscina e não há crianças permitidas nessa área, por isso era calmo e tranquilo. A comida também era muito boa. Recomendo totalmente.

The staff was super nice. Everything was clean and there weren't a lot of people. Hideaway has its own pool and there are no kids allowed in that area so it was quiet and peaceful. The food was also very good. Totally recommend it.
