“The stay wasn't perfect but it was top notch. This is one of the cleaner resorts we've stayed at and is to be expected since it is fairly new. All of the experiences we had with food was excellent. The restaurants are small and we did have to wait longer than expected a couple of times. Miguel and Erick were great as was the rest of the staff. If you are looking for night life, this probably isn't the place to find it. Overall we have no complaints about our stay.”

“Overall it’s a very nice, clean resort but I think it’s very misleading what’s advertised online. We heard multiple staff state how this resort is for the “young and sophisticated crowd” and how the energy is supposed to be fun and entertaining. I’d say over 70% of the guests were in the 50s+. If we weren’t looking for a more relaxing getaway, we would be very disappointed. I’m used to resorts that have entertainment, shows, games, etc. going on throughout the day. This resort had a few pool games but that’s about it, and nothing was ever posted so unless you were in the area at the time of the event, you wouldn’t know it’s happening. They also had “theme nights” where they played music and tried to create a more “party vibe” but the music didn’t really get people partying/dancing. The food was the biggest disappointment. The buffet was closed for lunch, and wasn’t always open for dinner. They pretty much served the same food everywhere. There was almost no variety between the restaurants. They advertise like 10 restaurants but the buffet is 3 “restaurants” in one. Breakfast was probably the best meal we ate all week, and we would have to take sandwiches from the Nook (coffee bar) to have to snacks later but they only had the sandwiches available until the late afternoon. Evenings and late night it was only sweets/cakes. My biggest annoyance regarding the food was our last night. There were only 3 restaurants open for dinner. One of them was in the exhale club (so not available to everyone), one had at least an hour wait, and the other had a wait too but the staff couldn’t even give us an estimated wait time. We ended up ordering room service, which still had over an hour wait. Our minibar was supposed to be restocked every day, it wasn’t. We had to call and ask for it to be restocked. Our Pringles and some soda were actually taken from the room after one of room cleanings. Also, the beach is right next to a public beach. So they have a marked off area for the resort guests but there are a lot of locals that come out and hang around, which is fine but if you’re using this as a getaway from your kids I’d avoid the beach. We were splashed by local children and it was just loud and unpleasant. Some reviews stated that they felt unsafe at the beach, we never did. It’s a very family oriented public beach. We booked a massage through the spa days in advance and they asked for payment when we booked it. When we came to the spa for our service, they had no record of us paying and tried to make us pay until we showed the transaction posted on our card. It took them 20 minutes to clear things up, which cut into our time with the sauna/steam room.”
