“I enjoyed coming to the restaurant in the past; however, being a guest is a subpar experience. The old iconic feel is nice; however, the lack of proper covid readiness was disappointing. There were no trash bags, hand and surface sanitizer and the soap dispenser was not working.Also the smart TV function did not work and there wasn't a amenity book or QR code. The room lacked luster nonetheless”

“I was looking for just a night's stay near Millennium Park. Staypineapple was the most reasonably priced for the location. I was skeptical, but upon check-in, all my concerns vanished. This hotel is the epitome of a boutique hotel from the design to the customer service. Every employee we interacted with was so pleasant. The room was small but clean and comfortable. The room with a queen bed was enough space for me, my boyfriend (he's 6'7", so BIG guy), and our luggage. They did an excellent job maintaining the historic elements and designs of the original building down to the hotel room doors and lock and keys. The location is perfect walking distance to the park and other notable spots in the area. My only regret is that we only had a night to stay. We'll be back for sure!”
