My husband and I will be talking about this honeymoon trip for years. The property is beautiful and the people are so special. Upon check in, Orrin greeted us with welcome champagne to really make us feel like we were celebrating and on vacation. Claude then showed us to our room and I could not believe what I saw. We got married on a Sunday and checked into La Samanna on Tuesday. When we entered our room, they had our wedding photos printed, in frames, and displayed next to a bottle of champagne. I was so blown away and HOW!! It truly felt like magic. Thank you Matthias and Elenor for your hospitality. Also a special shout out to Tom and Nico at the beach, Nameio and Claudia from dinner, and Xavier and Christopher at check out- they were all so personable, professional, and made us feel very valued. We are already trying to figure out when to come back. Thank you Belmond!!! Meu marido e eu falaremos sobre essa viagem de lua de mel por anos. A propriedade é linda e as pessoas são tão especiais. No check-in, Orrin nos cumprimentou com champanhe de boas-vindas para realmente nos fazer sentir como se estivéssemos comemorando e de férias. Claude então nos mostrou nosso quarto e eu não pude acreditar no que vi. Nós nos casamos em um domingo e nos hospedamos em La Samanna na terça-feira. Quando entramos em nosso quarto, eles mandaram imprimir as fotos do nosso casamento, em molduras e expostas ao lado de uma garrafa de champanhe. Eu estava tão deslumbrado e COMO!! Realmente parecia mágica. Obrigado Matthias e Elenor por sua hospitalidade. Também um grito especial para Tom e Nico na praia, Nameio e Claudia do jantar e Xavier e Christopher no check-out - todos eles foram muito gentis, profissionais e nos fizeram sentir muito valorizados. Já estamos tentando descobrir quando voltar. Obrigado Belmond!!!

We only went here for lunch, but we really loved 💞 the views 👀, the hotel, the property itself and all of the surrounding area.They have a really nice pool, and an excellent Beach right next door within walking distance. 🏖️The staff was super friendly and welcoming, and the service was excellent at the bar / restaurant. Food was excellent. 🍴🍴🍴 Só fomos almoçar, mas adoramos 💞 as vistas 👀, o hotel, a propriedade em si e toda a zona envolvente.Eles têm uma piscina muito boa e uma excelente praia ao lado, a uma curta distância. 🏖️A equipe foi super simpática e acolhedora, e o serviço foi excelente no bar/restaurante. Comida era excelente. 🍴🍴🍴

Food was excellent. 🍴🍴🍴 Solo fuimos a almorzar, pero realmente nos encantaron las vistas, el hotel, la propiedad en sí y todos los alrededores.Tienen una piscina muy bonita y una excelente playa justo al lado, a poca distancia. 🏖️El personal fue muy amable y acogedor, y el servicio fue excelente en el bar / restaurante. La comida fue excelente. 🍴🍴🍴

From the moment I arrived at La Samanna I was greeted warmly by Eléonore. From there on I had a wonderful experience as I needed a few days for rejuvenation. I had been upgraded to a beautiful one bedroom suite which was a lovely surprise. The property is maticulously maintained and provides the perfect environment along the blue waters of the Caribbean. While every encounter was great from Jean-Luc, Laura, and Suzanne at the spa...which I spent a fair amount of time at, to the concierge staff... I want to recognize Naomi who is a shinning star. Her warmth and detail to providing the best client experience was top notch and made my stay extra special. Because of her and Eléonore's daily greetings and check-ins, I look forward to staying at La Samanna in 2023 and beyond.

An experience I will not forget! This place got everything to give you chills. From the culinary experiences all the way to guest relations and being treated like a god - I had an unforgettable stay. Ms ASTIER-PETIN is one of a kind and her team is inspirational. I will be back for sure and highly recommend a visit here! Ps: Clara is one of a kind support (beachclub).

What an incredible quick getaway before the holidays! Could not think of a better place to stay in St. Martin and I highly recommend it if you are looking for a luxurious experience. From the gorgeous views to the incredibly well prepared foods in all the different restaurants, this is the most amazing place to visit, relax and feel as if every detail was thought of.I would like to highlight a few staff that truly made our stay incredible!Clara - She was very memorable and personal Jerome - Very upbeat and always smailing, with the right attitude no matter what happened, rain or shine. Corinne - She was my server at Laplaj, she not only took amazing care of my lunch but also went above and beyond for my special request for desert. Tiago - He made a phenomenal first impression upon arrival it felt as if I stepped right into paradise from the moment I arrived! Irene - Was very bubbly and took the time to engage with me making me feel right at home!I particularly want to thank Elenore, Stephanie and Mathias for their gracious hospitality and for ensuring that I had a flawless stay. ¡Qué increíble escapada rápida antes de las vacaciones! Though my trip had to be cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, I feel compelled to complete this review for the excellent customer service which I received. Ms. Eleonore Asier-Petin (General Manager), Ms. Huguette Gabet (Reservation Manager) and all the staff which I interacted with over the phone as well as Ms. Wendy Charbonneau from American Express Reservations, were all so professional, very detailed and super helpful. They all went above and beyond to be sure I was going to have a great stay every day I was going to be there. After my unfortunate cancelation, I received the utmost appreciative and sincere email. I am looking forward to going to St. Martin and staying at La Samanna one day in the near future.Now, I can see why Belmond Hotel Resorts are one of American Express' highly recommended properties to visit.Be Blessed, Mark Taliento
