“We booked here for a last minute trip. Best way to describe is this is a good value resort, however, it is not for those looking for gourmet food and top shelf alcohol. Resort is very clean, but somewhat dated. Staff is very friendly and, for the most part, goes out of their way to make your experience memorable. WiFi was extremely limited so could really not use laptop, etc during our stay. While they are very observing of COVID protocols, we were never harassed about masks. In fact, once we left the airport in a private car service, we never put a mask back on until we returned to the airport for departure. Biggest disappointment was the food. Most all the meals are served buffet, so you really do not get to satisfy any specific desire you may be looking for at breakfast, lunch or dinner. Chic is the one "menu based" restaurant on property, but reservations are required. We forgot to make reservations our last night, and when we walked in to a near empty restaurant, we were refused service because they said we needed reservations in advance. So, if you are looking for an all you can eat venue, this may be just for you. BTW, get the cheeseburger at the "pool & beach" snack bar... very good. Other disappointment was there was no description what was included and not included in alcoholic drinks. If you drink "top shelf" spirits such as Jack Daniels or Bacardi Rum, etc, those are NOT included and are charged additionally. However, if you are OK drinking well brands, again the may be just the venue for you. My wife had a massage and thought it was one of the best she has ever had. So much so, she contemplated more spa services on subsequent days. She thought the spa was extremely clean and staff went out of their way to enhance the experience. Pool looks bigger in pictures, however, there was never a crowd at pool and there was always a seat at the pool bar. Beach is literally just steps away from pool deck and there was always chairs and shade available. Beach tip.... bring some cash because the local beach vendors selling trinkets, straw hats & trips will not leave you alone until you buy something. So, if you are looking for a "all-inclusive", good value resort, give them a shot. If you are looking for fine dining and top shelf spirits, suggest you check out other properties.”
