I didn't have a good experience, they didn't have my reservation and therefore I had to wait over 40 min to be able to check in, if it hadn't been for the customer service manager, Mauricio, they would have asked me to use another credit card to "guarantee" payment for my stay, when I had already fully paid for it. The hotel is old and although it's been renovated, there are many areas in which you can observe the decay it's suffered. Elevators where not working properly and they were mostly crowded, which during a pandemic is not ok. Food served during breakfast was lacking in taste. Swimming pool facilities were adequate and kept in general good conditions. Good views of the Bay from hotel rooms

Annual maintenance fees are always billed on time, however when you try to make reservations they always claim that there is no availability, then you call the hotel directly and guess what yes there is availability, then you have to call back to insist on getting your reservation fulfilled. Now when you visit the spa if you are lucky and find an availability with the only one therapist they have, check out the massage table (legs and head rest) those are falling apart she has to interrupt your massage to put those back together.

Mold smell all throughout the hotel including inside the rooms and bathrooms. Rooms are large but ran down and outdated since 1990s. Elevators are old and taking forver to come. Restaurant food is also trrrible. Stuff doesn't speak English. Only good thing is the location.

This is a clean facility in a prime beach front location. We were visiting from Texas, and felt welcomed by the staff. The onsite food is great, and the pools are great. Please provide a bigger selection of English speaking tv channels for guests visiting from primarily English speaking countries.
