“Staying at the Residence Inn by Marriott was one of the best decisions my wife and I made during our visit to Barra da Tijuca. From the moment we checked into reception, the staff went above and beyond to answer any questions we had and were always willing to go the extra mile to make us happy and feel like family:) They were so organized, thorough and pleasant to deal with, and we didn't have to worry about a single thing, as they made sure everything ran so smoothly. All the rooms are much larger than your average hotel, so value for money is excellent and they have a full kitchen as well. A few extra positives to point out; - security is tight with electronic entry doors to access the hotel, so we felt 100% safe - Fibre optic internet ( very important as we both work online ) - hotel is well insulated to the outside noise, so peaceful & quiet - plenty of food, shopping and public transportation options close by - the restaurant food and staff were spectacular! To summarize: We’re quick to find fault and fussy about the details, so we’re impressed that the overall experience not only met our expectations, but transcended them, and our stay was far better than we even imagined:)”

“Ficamossurpresospor ter feito reserva para o Courtyard by Marriott Rio de Janeiro Barra da Tijuca e quando chegamos na recepção fomos informados pelo segurança de forma ríspida que o hotel estava recebendo hóspedes exclusivamente em quarentena, um recepcionista que estava saindo, ouviu e nos levou ao apart hotelao lado Residence Inn by Marriott Rio de Janeiro Barra da Tijuca. 2- Após o checkin fomos direcionados para um quarto que não tinha sido higienizado, com TV ainda ligada , restos de comida bebida e tudo mais. Retornamos à recepção e reclamamos . Nunca tinha me acontecido isso !!! Fiquei chocada !!! 3- O servido de quarto fecha as 21h e o cardápio estava desatualizado, quase não conseguimos pedir o jantar! 4- Se quisesse pedir delivery teria que ir buscar na recepção (absurdo)!! 5- No café da manhã fomos surpreendidos novamente com uma quentinha de isopor que era feita na nossa frente e depois nós mesmos que equilibrássemos os ítens elevássemos para o quarto , um desrespeito total com o hospede, um hotel de luxo levando os problemas de desorganização e falta de infraestrutura para o hóspede que quer relaxar ! Lamentável, experiência horrível !!”
