Booked this hotel in December of 2022 for our March 2023 stay. My rate was around $160/night. Unfortunately there was a mix-up with Marriott points resulting in my reservation being cancelled and re-booked by Marriott customer service. What I didn't realize when I received my booking confirmation from Marriott customer service was that no price was shown... I assumed it was still my prior/existing reservation rate. Well, come check out time, I was charged $344.87 for a Thursday night, $258.37 for Friday night, and $248.13 for Saturday night... totaling $851.37 for a 3 night stay... almost double my original booking price. After chatting with Marriott again following checkout, they told me it was out of their hands. An otherwise nice stay has been marred by being charged twice what I originally booked for.

Excellent hotel and service. Room was very spacious and staff were excellent. The hotel dog Scoop is adorable! This hotel is in an amazing location and the breakfast was excellent. Will be staying here again for sure. Highly recommend!

I had some issues with billing and points but overall this was a brand new hotel with a great location. Staff was friendly though. I liked the free craft beer at happy hour, room size and location. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. What’s really nice is it is a little off the main road so I think it’s quieter than surrounding hotels, while still in a prime location close to Salt Palace for conferences.

Great, beautiful hotel. If one is ever staying at the Element, they must see Scoop the hotel dog during the weekday. 1 out of 10 for management performance. Hard for them to not discriminate those of a minority background. Would not recommend anyone to work at this hotel.

Awesome hotel! Staff is really friendly and hospitable. I would definitely stay here in the future:) Also the rooftop pool is amazing!
