Star Camp- what a great service. Our granddaughter went there while staying at the resort. They had themed nights, and many activities for the kids. The staff were friendly and wonderful with the children. Our granddaughter really enjoyed it, gave her little friends to play with while we were at the resort. They made crafts, baked in the mini kitchen, swam, had a jungle gym and played games. The staff kept them busy. Thank you to all the wonderful people at Star Camp.

El hotel miy bonito con un excelente equipo de animacion. Las clases de baile con Marco y Magaly y la bandadel hotel fueron las mejores muy ambientadas. Jonathan es excelente. Necesitan ponerle calefaccion a la alberca esta muy muy fria.

Hotel perfecto. Servicio de empleados es excelente. Fabiola,claudia,joseline y jazmin son excelentes meseras. Los muchachos de barra una mesncion especial a Edison y son los mejores en bebidas. Sugerencias que haya mas variedad de comida en el bufet de alberca. El equipo de animacion y deportes son excelentes nos gustaron muchos todos eventos. Lasclases de baile com Marco polo son muy buenas. Jonatan es muy divertido. Mariana muy buena en el acuerobics y Magaly excelentes dardos. Recomendado ampliamente y esperamos regresar.

Overall, we loved it here.The resort is fairly large and very clean. The rooms are average but we don’t spend much time there so I didn’t mind. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The beach is beautiful and near the mountains. There is a place 5 minutes down the road to ride ATVs in the jungle and horseback ride on the beach which was a blast!The food is not great and worse than most resorts we have been to in the past. The nightly shows are from 9:30-10:30 and I wish they started a little earlier. The shows also need work. They are not near as good as other resorts we have been to. The pool is freezing so we didn’t spend much time in it.Overall, nice resort. It is very pretty and relaxing. Just don’t expect great food.

Our second time staying at this awesome resort! There is something for everyone. The best thing about it is how kind the staff are. They really go above and beyond! Es un hotel muy bueno para descansar que en eso el hotel supero mis espectativas. Los meseros son muy amables como Joseline y claudia muy amables. Los cantineros como Edison,Adrian y tomas son excelentes al momento de pedir bebidas. Las habitaciones son bonitas pero las tinas son peligrosas. Necesitan poner duchas. Los chicos de animacion son agradables nos hacen olvidarnos de problemas. Sin discriminar a personas mayores eso es lo que mas nos gusto de Jonathan,Wendy,Marco y Magaly siempre com una hermosa sonrrisa. El bufete esta rico, Lo recomendamos al 100 %

Muy buena amabiliadad y atencion a nuestra llegada. Un hotel con instalaciones limpias y muy accesibles. Comida rica y muy higienica. El equipo de animacion es agradable entretenido. El star camp los niños se divierten mucho. Las clases de baile en vivo son lo mejor. Gracias a Marco y a jonthan por tan excelentes clases. Gracias a magaly y a mariana por las clases de aerobicos acuaticos y el yoga muy buenas clases. Sguerencias. Cambiar colchones de habitaciones estan muy desgastados.

Buen recibimiento con todas las atenciones. Los meseros y bar tenders son muy buenos atendiendo. Joselien,claudia y jazmín meseras son espectaculares y Tomas,Edison y Kevin son muy buenos en la barra. Las instalaciones son muy limpias. Los muchachos del equipo de animación son muy simpáticos y muy amables. Como Wendy Marco,Magaly y Jonathan son animadores muy serviciales. Los restaurantes como el japonéses excelente . El jefe de restaurantes Marco muy amable y muy accesible. Sugerencias Más agua en habitaciones embotellada. Poner frigo bar. Poner calefacción.

El hotel es bellísimo. Servicio de meseros Claudia en alberca y playa es excelente mesera. Las clases de baile con Marco Polo fueron muy buenas especialmente con la banda en vivo. Wendy,Magaly,Roy son excelentes anfitriones. Lo recomiendo por la atención la comida es rica y la excelente animación que ahí se ofrece.

Los animadores de alberca son muy serviciales como Wendy,Marco nos encantó la zumba, Roy,Magaly,Gio,Jonathan muy amables. Las instalaciones muy bonitas y el área de Star camp es excelente la seguridad con nuestros hijos es muy buena. Muy recomendado porque todo está muy bien ubicado los accesos son muy buenos. Great resort in an awesome location. The good things: food quality and selection, quality and service at the bars, great kids pool and kids area, awesome beach, rooms clean and well equipped, attentive staff "on the ground floor" (meaning bars, restaurants, entertainment, kids staff,...) Why not five stars?: first lost star: The pool was freezing cold, so hardly anyone was in there. My kids go swimming in the SF bay, but left the pool after five minutes, saying it's too cold (in 2mm wet suits!) we should have packed the long winter ones 🙄. The ocean on new years day was much warmer. Also there is no hot tub! The only ones are in the adults only paid spa or the member area. No chance for the kids to warm up. Frustrating because the pool is the number one thing that the kids love. Second lost star: horrible management! Neither very friendly nor attentive. Some things were broken down or damaged like guard rails (actually a fall hazard for little kids), elevator, broken floor in and around the pool, inoperable elevator, TV not working. Okay, this happens to the best, but why can you not put some signs for apologies or to pay attention? Reservations for restaurants booked out way in advance or only family unfriendly times available. So we could not use the themed restaurants. No one told us that the buffet restaurant needs to be reserved for new year's eve. When we checked there were no reservations available on the app, so we thought it wasn't necessary. They left us and other guests waiting until we finally decided to go in an get food and eat outside in front of a restaurant. Another lady waited patiently with her four year old daughter for almost two hours until 9pm to get food. That's a great way to annoy your guests and make them book with the competition next time. Also here a big sign on the restaurant they day before is all it takes to avoid the frustration, but the TV next to the restaurant was actually saying "no reservations required for the buffet restaurant". New years eve should be something special and not a day to get upset. Especially if you pay premium rates for the holidays. Next thing was that the rooftop bar closed at 11pm on new years eve? Really? Who came up with that idea? It was full of people and the fireworks from the neighbor hotels was great, but nothing from the Iberostar. I did expect some more attention from the management that day. Again the resort is great and we would probably come again in a warmer season where a non heated pool is not a big problem. One special positive thing were the guys from the diving center. Great hospitality and awesome experience!

One of the best resort experiences I’ve had! Super friendly staff and exceptional service. We ate the most delicious meals at Pacifico Express and El Bistro. The waiters Jame and Sandro, and the chef Tony made our stay especially amazing, please look out for them if you stay!

The resort was wonderful for the price. Beautiful location and the beach is kept well. The staff is great, and specifically Gio was very warm and welcoming. The food can be hit or miss depending on your taste and expectations, but on par with other Mexican resorts we have been too. Definitely put this resort near the top of our list.

We had an amazing time at this resort.Mayra at the Adelita Bar was the best.She provided us with great service and took the time to get to know us while we were there.All the employees were helpful and nice.The food was good, especially the Japanese restaurant.We definitely recommend this resort for families with kids of all ages.It was so much fun!

The hotel is FANTASTIC!! We love the bartenders, especially Tomas,Edison and Adrian, and Emilio! They were always fun to chat with and give us fun drinks. The shows were also so well done and the staff made the performances very exciting. Marco and Wendy were fantastic and always willing to do anything we asked. Definitely recommend coming here and be sure to say hi to our friends!

Staff were amazing, especially our yoga instructor, Marianna. She was very enthusiastic and we felt that we got a great yoga workout, Although it was hard getting up for the 8 am class it was worth it! Every day was different and we felt revitalized and ready to start our day. Marianna had clear instructions and was helpful in pointing out if we were doing something incorrectly. She was an amazing yoga teacher! Can't wait to come back!

This place was perfect for me! Staff was nice and friendly. Rooms were overall nice and clean. Food was okay, but good. You don't have to pay for the buffet but make sure you book your spot at the restaurants before you arrive at the resort!!! Pool not that crowded. Beautiful view of the beach once you’re down there. Lots of activities and cultures around you!! There is a kids club. You can sign your kid up and enjoy your day. Make sure to pick up your kid(s) before 10 PM. Also the supervisors who work at the kids club speak both English and Spanish. Nice stay!

I have been visiting this resort for the last 6 year and have nothing but good things to say about the staff and service. Marco and Alex have been here the longest and remember us every year. They are always here to make sure everyone has a good time and all needs are met. Gio, Roy, Chris, Tony, Pepe and Nacho are wonderful as well. This year the entertainment was above and beyond. The poolside service is great. I took my own cup and it was washed with soap and water during all refills. I was very surprised how well everything was put together due to Covid. As always I will return.

Good food and drinks. The staff tries really hard to make the best vacation for you and your family. Lots of fun activities and the theme restaurants are worth the trouble of getting reservations. Habatchi and Mexican are the best but the French is also good. Fish tacos at the beach grill are must!

As someone who tries to live low to zero waste at home (especially avoiding single use plastics) I was dreading the idea of a resort where I would be served every drink in a plastic cup and rely on bottled water. Iberostar has switched to high quality filtered water and even provides reusable bottles for each room! Drinks served around pools are in reusable plastic cups they collect and wash, and overall they have reduced the waste they create significantly. The staff, food, activities, and facilities are all top notch. Overall a very very enjoyable stay!

(Feb 2018) Quiet, beautiful, relaxing, impeccably clean facility with wonderful attentive staff. The food was fantastic; wonderful fresh seafood. Day trip to Sayulita was real highlight; incredibly charming village with beautiful beach, great restaurants, lovely shops & galleries. This was our first experience with Iberostar and having stayed at most of the other resort chains this was by far our favourite and we cannot wait to return.

Great all inclusive on Playa Mita beach. The service is exceptional. The four restaurants on site were all really great I preferred the French and Mexican, but the Japanese and Steak house were good as well. While sitting by the pool, staff is constantly asking you if you would like anything to drink. Every couple of hours they bring fresh towels. The beach is very nice, no seaweed, minimal rocks, and soft sand. The waves are pretty strong with a strong undercurrent. Not the best for small children. Overall we enjoyed this resort and would recommend this be in your top considerations for places to visit.

We just got back from a 6 day stay at Iberostar for a friend’s wedding and had the BEST time!!! From the moment we arrived the staff was welcoming and friendly. Thank you Benjamin (Our concierge) for starting out our stay on a positive note! It meant a lot because we had never traveled to Mexico before. The food was great! I was worried it would be bland because of being all inclusive but not at all! Drinks were also on POINT! The staff are really who make this experience what it was. We were able to see a lot of the same people throughout our stay and we remembered each other by name! My bf was so happy because he’s a friendly guy so he really felt the sincerity from all the employees. I think that reflects immensely on the management of this resort, when your employees enjoy what they do everyday! Of course the location is beautiful. The entire resort is clean and the staff does a great job of cleaning up all over the resort as well as house cleaning twice a day in your room. We were not at all disappointed! The pool was great, the beach was gorgeous, and the nightclub was so much fun! We stayed with a big group of about 20+ friends and we all had a BLAST!! Our only regret was not bringing our kids because it also seems like a very family friendly resort with the kids club and splash pad/playground area. We would love to stay with Iberostar again in the future!!!
