“Absolutely excellent, remarkably comfortable amazon river lodge with full board and activities included. This place is a stunningly comfortable and civilised way to take in much of the amazon jungle and river. The rooms are tasteful, large and very comfortable, there is hot water available in the showers, and there is electricity most of the time you need it. The food is outstanding, with a large menu you can pick from for lunch and dinner. Portion sizes are huge and the quality is very good (the beef can be a bit tough, however). The cash bar is reasonably priced, although cocktails are weak. The activities are great, with a busy schedule in the day (although not too much). They’re usually good, some better than others (monkey island > lily pond, for example). The guides speak English and Spanish, and are good, although ours did spend an ever increasing amount of time favouring speaking to other, native Spanish speakers in our group, which became a source of friction toward the end of the trip, as we felt ignored and unwanted. All in all, however, you see a huge amount for a very reasonable price, in remarkable comfort. Definitely recommend.”
