“Overall a good hotel. Room was nice and located in the heart of Barcelona. Staff was always very nice. Breakfast offered a ton of great options both American and European. I got a Plaza facing room with a great view. My reason for dropping one star was the cooling. I was here during the winter and the ac I was told is disabled. While my room was not scorching hot, it was much hotter than I am used to sleeping in. It might have been OK with a ceiling fan but that wasn't available either. I didn't sleep very well because of the high heat. They need to leave the ac on or provide some way of cooling off rooms for those who are used to sleeping in colder temperatures. Opening the window was proceed to me as a a solution which doesn't really work at night with constant cars driving by outside. Not sure if I would stay here again it would depend on the time of year and if the ac was on. It Would seem that you can't control the ac from your room so during the summer the heat problem could be even worse.”
