Located on the southern tip of the Ari Atoll is Maafushivaru Maldives which is surrounded by clear waters with a house reef powder-white soft sand and lush vegetation. This 500 metre long island features thatch-roofed villas a spa and gym.Contemporary beach or over-water villas are air conditioned and equipped with a flat-screen TV with DVD player and iPod docking station. They also feature an outdoor terrace espresso machine and spacious en suite bathroom with bath and shower.Guests can enjoy diving and snorkelling besides fishing. Relaxing massages can be arranged at the spa. There is also an outdoor swimming pool with children's pool. Free Wi-Fi is provided.Maafushivaru's main restaurant overlooks the lagoon and offers a buffet of international and local flavours. 135° East is a contemporary Teppanyaki and Sushi restaurant with its own over-water pavilion. Private dining arrangements can also be made. The Library Lounge coffee shop serves a range of tea and specialty coffees. There is also bar and wine chiller.Maafushivaru Maldives is located in the same lagoon as Lonubo. It is a 25-minute seaplane journey from Malé International Airport.

We stayed at this resort for our 25th wedding anniversary and it exceeded our expectations. The property was breathtaking and meticulously maintained. Our over water villa (Rm 216) was spectacular and our bed was beautifully decorated commemorating our anniversary. Service was beyond top notch. All staff were very attentive and warm but Yasir and Chaitanya were exceptional. They went above and beyond to spoil us. Kim at the front desk went out of her way to assist me with my back issues and even texted on her day off. The spa was wonderful. Very organized seaplane transfers for both arrival and departure. Five star dining experience at both the buffet and restaurants. Great snorkelling , paddle boards and kayaking. If you are looking for a luxurious laid back experience in paradise, do not hesitate to book at Maafushivaru.

We booked Outrigger Maafushivaru for our honeymoon and we have no regrets : everything was perfect, the resort is amazing and service is impeccable. We had a sunset water villa and were able to enjoy sunset every night during our stay. We spent time at the Oceane Spa, which we enjoyed and helped us relax even more. We appreciated the dining experience in all the A la Carte restaurants of the resort. Restaurants need to be booked as soon as possible during the stay as they are not open everyday and have limited place. A special thanks to Azam for his outstanding art work in our room, he made personalised leaf decorations throughout our stay , we loved it! The Maafushivaru team was helpful and friendly , we cannot remember everyone's name, but thank you so much. We highly recommend the resort and would love to go back someday.

Its much more than a place. I have to say its a heaven!!!!!!! We are a big family from Vietnam coming to this beautiful island in early June. Since the moment we arrived, we already received the massive warm welcome from Outtrigger team. The resort is beautiful by itself and so does the nature. Our room is magnificent and well prepared with some personalize decor from Outtrigger team. Its so touching. Well done team. There are no words to describe all the beauty of this island. I just wanna shout out to Kim aka our GSA. She went out of her way to look after for us even before we landed. I couldn’t stress enough how professional and courtesy she performed. Thank to Kim we not only experience new things but also have some taste like home. She organized some special meals for us since two babies had trouble with eating foods. Last but not least, Reesham from F&B team, he is definitely a keeper. Always be top notch and attentive. Our breakfast was much more enjoyable thanks to you. Once again thanks to all Outtrigger team for making us feel like home. We will definitely come back next year!!!!!

Finally knocked off a bucket list trip to the Maldives and feel so fortunate to have chosen this resort. Facilities, staff, service, food, and accommodations exceeded all our expectations. The beauty of the island and the ocean around it are breathtaking. You can do nothing but relax or be active with snorkeling, diving, fishing, etc. Excursions offered are varied and interesting. Snorkeling with Mantas/Whale Sharks beautiful experience. Relaxing pool area with a bar and loungers so inviting. The food at the buffet and the three restaurants again exceeded expectations. All staff goes out of their way to make you comfortable, from management to groundskeepers. Very enjoyable services at the spa. Massage/sunburn skin treatment especially. Can't give enough stars for the amazing experience here. I’m sure there are many other outstanding resorts in the Maldives but they would have to go a long way to exceed the standards set by this one.

Experiência verdadeiramente incrível. O lugar é tranquilo e tão relaxado. A equipe é muito atenciosa e o serviço é muito rápido e eficiente. A villa é muito espaçosa, moderna, impecável, com roupas de cama confortáveis. A área do deck é de tamanho substancial com piscina de borda infinita com vista para a lagoa. A comida era muito boa, especialmente o menu de almoço no bar Library and Water. O restaurante japonês Umi serve uma fantástica variedade de cozinha tradicional japonesa, de sashimi a pratos quentes e saquê. Restaurante italiano é altamente recomendado, gostei especialmente risoto de cogumelos e trufas e carpachio de atum amarelo.A natação é muito agradável, grande variedade de peixes nos recifes de corais circundantes. Tudo que você precisa é de um equipamento de mergulho e uma câmera subaquática. A lagoa está cheia de tubarões bebés. Eles são tão fofos e totalmente inofensivos. O local é um viveiro de tubarões para tubarões de ponta branca e preta em essência, e você pode ver esses tubarões bebês (2-3 meses) o tempo todo perseguindo os peixes na hora do pôr do sol. É bastante divertido. Você também pode ter a chance de ver arraias. Eles também nadam em torno de vilas aquáticas e alguns pedem peixes grandes. Fico feliz em dizer que não há água-viva lá. E a água é super cristalina.Gostei muito dos tratamentos de spa. Uma das melhores massagens que fiz. As instalações do spa incluem sauna a vapor, sauna e piscina de borda infinita .... Eu recomendaria massagem tailandesa e massagem indiana Aurveda com óleo quente e ervas. depois me senti revigorada...Entretenimento noturno incluído no DJ da casa, música ao vivo da bela cantora/música Clarita e noite de cinema na praia.Também fizemos uma viagem de snorkeling de barco e vimos algumas tartarugas, arraias, peixes e baiacus entre uma enorme variedade de outras formas de vida marinha.Viajar de hidroavião foi rápido, a única coisa que eu recomendaria é trazer os tampões para os ouvidos, pois o barulho da hélice é bastante alto.Apesar de tudo, tive uma experiência agradável neste resort e ficaria feliz em voltar novamente.

Truly amazing experience.The place is tranquil and so relaxed. The staff is very attentive and service is very prompt and efficient.The villa is very spacious,modern, spotless with comfortable bedding. The deck area is substantial size with infinity pool overlooking the lagoon.The food was really good , especially the lunch menu at the Library and Water bar.Umi Japanese restaurant serves a fantastic array of traditional Japanese cuisine from sashimi to hot dishes and sake. Italian restaurant is highly recommended,I enjoyed especially mushroom and truffles risotto and yellow tuna carpachio.Swimming is very pleasant,huge variety of fish in surrounding corral reefs. All you need is a snorkeling gear and underwater camera. The lagoon is full of baby sharks. They are so cute and totally harmless.The place is a shark nursery for white and black tip sharks in essence, and you can see these baby sharks (2-3 months old) all the time chasing the fish around sunset time.It's rather entertaining.You can also might get a chance to see sting rays. They are also swim around water villas and some order big fish. I am happy to say there is no jellyfish there. And the water is super crystal clear.I thoroughly enjoyed the Spa treatments.One of the best massages I had. The facilities at the spa include steam room, sauna and infinity pool....I would recommend Thai massage and Aurveda Indian massage with hot oil and herbs. I felt invigorated afterwards...Evening entertainment included in house DJ,live music by beautiful singer/musican Clarita and occasion film night on the beach.We also took a snorkeling trip by boat and saw couple of tortoises,sting rays, sord fish and puffer fish among a huge variety of other sea life.Travelling by seaplane was fast, the only thing I would recommend is to bring the earplugs,as the noise from the propeller is rather loud.All in all I had pleasant experience at this resort and I would be happy to come back again.

Visitamos Maafushivaru no final de novembro, início de dezembro, para nossa lua de mel. Não posso recomendar este lugar o suficiente. A partir do momento em que descemos para o hidroavião, foi uma bênção absoluta. Fomos recebidos com uma bebida refrescante deliciosa, toalhas frias e uma recepção calorosa e sorridente de todos os funcionários sorridentes incríveis.Fomos apresentados ao nosso quarto, que era uma villa sobre a água com piscina. O quarto era excepcional, com acabamentos de alto padrão e decoração de bom gosto. Os equipamentos e acessórios eram todos novos e de boa qualidade. O quarto estava muito bem equipado, fornecendo-nos tudo o que poderia precisar para a nossa estadia. Ter o luxo de nossa piscina privativa e do mar para dar um mergulho era o paraíso.Os jardins ao redor do resort são impressionantes e incrivelmente bem conservados, o que dá uma ótima vibração ao lugar quando se dá um passeio. Além de ser o lar de uma grande natureza - os enormes morcegos frugívoros e garças.Existem vários restaurantes e comemos em todos eles. Os funcionários são todos muito atenciosos, educados e simpáticos. A comida é requintada, cada refeição foi lindamente apresentada, de grande qualidade e absolutamente deliciosa.A oferta de bebidas varia muito, incluindo marcas premium. Mas é preciso dizer que os coquetéis são de longe os melhores! E um agradecimento especial ao nosso barman favorito, Lakshan, por nos fornecer uma variedade fabulosa de coquetéis saborosos durante a nossa estadia! Ele realmente é o melhor! Deixe-o surpreendê-lo com um - ele sabe o que é melhor !!.Nós reservamos um par de passeios de barco durante a nossa estadia, uma viagem de observação de mantas e um safári para mergulho com snorkel. Fomos acompanhados por uma equipe de biologia marinha que foi excelente e nos forneceu muitas informações interessantes sobre a área circundante e a vida marinha e respondeu a todas as nossas perguntas. Infelizmente, devido às estações do ano, não avistamos mantas, mas encontramos uma grande variedade de peixes, corais, uma tartaruga e um tubarão-lixa! Realmente foi uma experiência incrível.Nossa viagem a Mafushivaru nos proporcionou a lua-de-mel exata com que tínhamos sonhado. UM lugar absolutamente idílico, com uma equipe excelente. Sem defeito! We visited Maafushivaru end of November beginning of December for our Honeymoon. I cannot recommend this place enough. From the moment we stepped off to seaplane, it was absolute bliss. We were greeted with a delicious refreshing drink, cold towels and a warm, smiling welcome from all of the amazing smiling staff. We were shown to our room which was an overwater villa with pool. The room was exceptional, finished to a high standard with tasteful decor. The fixtures and fittings where all brand new and good quality. The room was very well equipped, providing us with everything would could possibly need for our stay. Having the luxury of both our private pool and the sea to take a dip in was heaven. The grounds around the resort are stunning and incredibly well maintained, it gives such a great vibe to the place when taking a stroll around. As well as being home to some great nature - the huge fruit bats and herons. There are several restaurants and we ate in all of them. The staff are all very attentive, polite and friendly. The food is exquisite, every meal was beautifully presented, great quality and absolutely delicious. There are a wide range of drinks on offer, including premium brands. But, it has to be said, the cocktails are by far the best! And a special thanks to our favourite barman Lakshan for providing us with a fabulous range of tasty cocktails during our stay! He really is the best! Let him surprise you with one- he knows best!!. We booked a couple of boat trips during our stay, one manta spotting trip and a snorkel safari. We were accompanied by marine biology staff who were great and provided us with lots on interesting information regarding the surrounding area and sea life and answered all of our questions. Unfortunately, due to the seasons we didn’t spot any mantas but we did encounter a vast array of fish, corals, a turtle and a nurse shark! It really was an incredible experience. Our trip to Mafushivaru gave us the exact honeymoon that we had dreamt of. AN absolutely idyllic place, with superb staff. Faultless! We can’t wait to visit again

Truly the most amazing vacation our family had ever been on. The entire staff goes out of their way to make you feel at home. Food is phenomenal! We suggest booking as many excursions as possible... excursions are truly out of this world. We have been to Bali, Hawaii, the Caribbean and more...this resort and the Maldives is worlds above anything we have ever experienced. The spa is also a superb experience. Also, if you are booking from the states, you may have difficulty using their online payment system if trying to pay in USD. Simply switch to AED and you should not have a problem at all.

Un lugar único y encantador donde descansar y disfrutar de lo q te ofrece la naturaleza.Pasamos allí nuestra luna de miel y quedamos encantados, todo el personal muy amable y entregados. Mencionar especialmente a Constanza,gracias a q ella habla españolpudimos comunicarnos y elegir entre las diferentesopciones y Sara,que aunque no habla español hizo lo posible para q la entendieramos y también nos fue de gran ayuda. Tivemos o prazer de ficar em 2 vilas diferentes aqui: a villa duplex com piscina e a villa com piscina de água, ambas são villas extremamente sofisticadas com piscina privativa. Gostamos muito da comida desde que reservamos o plano de café-da-manhã e jantar. Agradecimentos especiais a Frankie, o gerente de arrumação que nos ajudou muito durante a nossa estadia. Foi uma estadia luxuosa e, pelo meu conhecimento da maioria dos resorts das Maldivas, este resort concorre pela preferência entre eles Minha estadia foi maravilhosa e superou minhas expectativas, já que desde os primeiros momentos da recepção, você é saudado com um caloroso acolhimento e também uma despedida. Durante a estadia, todos os funcionários são acolhedores e sorridentes. Agradeço ao funcionário das Maldivas, Irmão Safwan , o recepcionista No que se refere à comida, ela é muito atenciosa com todos os gostos e se caracteriza pela diversidade para atender os convidados da maioria dos países e os pratos são preparados com o melhor possível, e o buffet é diversificado em todos os tipos, você nunca vai sofrer em termos de Comida. A limpeza é muito elevada e a organização dos quartos é duas vezes ao dia e também todas as instalações são muito limpas A ilha onde se encontra o resort é considerada pequena e isto não é um defeito, mas sim um aspecto positivo que faz com que se sinta próximo de todos os lados do resort e aprofunda a sensação de estar nas traseiras de uma ilha. O resort oferece atividades noturnas gratuitas para os hóspedes, como por exemplo, o cinema ao lado da praia em um local charmoso, bem como sessões de música, etc. de acordo com um horário específico, de forma que cada noite tenha uma atividade específica, e eles vão proporcionar você com uma programação de atividades no momento

Finalmente cheguei às Maldivas. Não podemos dizer coisas positivas o suficiente sobre este resort. A partir do momento em que pousamos em Male para toda a nossa estadia. A equipe e o hotel são nada menos que incrível. Eles estão no topo de toda a sua estadia. Desde a chegada do voo até a partida. A comida é tão maravilhosa e, por último, mas não menos importante, as fotos e os vídeos não fazem justiça a este lugar. Lindo de tirar o fôlego! Obrigado por uma experiência incrível.

Finally made it to Maldives. We can’t say enough positive things about this resort. From the time we landed in Male to our entire stay. The staff and hotel are nothing short of amazing. They are on top of your entire stay. From flight arrival to departure. The food is so wonderful and last but not least pictures and videos do not do this place justice. Breathtakingly Beautiful! Thank you for an amazing experience.

We stayed in this magic resort for 12 nights and just never wanted to leave this paradise!First of all I want to mention I am very picky when it comes to service & food but this place really was above my expectations!The resort manager Pierre and all of the staff in every department are so super friendly and serviceminded! Everything from the welcoming to the hotel, the food, the ambient, everything was so luxurious! You felt like you were a celebrity 😊 We had a beach pool villa which was the best in my opinion. The villa was so big and very nice.The island has several restaurants with different type of food, and the quality is so high of the food! They also have a huge drink menu to choose from. Everything is newly renovated and very tasteful!The house reef is very good and has a lot of fishes, I swam there for hours.We also did excursions with their amazing marine biologist Pippa, we swam with mantas and whale sharks – it was so incredible!As mentioned before everyone in the staff were so genuine, super friendly and service minded – I must mention Chara and Niluka, I will never forget those two amazing persons!Next time visiting Maldives there is no doubt where I will stay 😉 This is the best resort I have stayed at!

Lugar perfeito. Chegamos de hidroavião diretamente ao resort. Recebemos com 10 funcionários que esperavam no convés nos deram bebidas e toalhas molhadas. O quarto era perfeito, bem como bela varanda com piscina e vista para o mar. Você pode fazer mergulho diretamente no quarto. Alugue um caiaque ou vá ver tubarões. A comida simplesmente incrível. Tão gostoso 😋. O melhor lugar para suas férias. Pagamos 3500 $ por 5 noites.

Perfect place. We arrived with seaplane directly to resort. We welcomed with 10 employees who waited on the deck they gave us drinks and wet towels. The room was perfect as well with lovely pool nice balcony and ocean view. You can do directly to snorkeling from the room. Rent kayak or go to see sharks. The food just incredible. So tasty 😋. The best place for your vacation. We paid 3500$ for 5 nights.

This resort was amazing. My husband and I had a ocean pool villa that was completely private and so beautiful. From the moment we arrived the staff was attentive and provided us with everything. Pierre the manager was great and went above and beyond to ensure we were able to do the water excursions and get our spa treatments. He was even able to get us the floating breakfast which was a dream come true. One of the best management at a resort my husband and I ever experienced. The food and drinks are great everything was always fresh. They even decorated our villa for our wedding anniversary which was very sweet. We went for a whale shark diving excursion and Pippa the Marine Biologist was super sweet and welcoming, we were unable to find a whale shark at first but she made sure to find one and finally we saw one which was a whole another experience. The villa was always cleaned timely and if we needed anything it was available right away. Highly recommend this resort to everyone. This resort is truly a paradise. All the staff at the water bar and overall restaurants were really nice and welcoming too. This resort is stated at 4 stars but is most definitely a 5 star resort!! Thank you to Pierre and his team!!

Hemos pasado una semana de ensueño. El resort es muy acogedor, hay muchos peces, tiburones de distintos tamaños, tortugas, mantas raya.. Es el sueño de todo aquel que le apasione la vida marina. Las habitaciones con piscina sobre el mar son impresionantes, la limpieza, las vistas, la atención de todos los trabajadores, destacando a Costanza que nos ayudó en todo momento y además habla español. Volveremos sin dudarlo. Por cierto, la comida es impresionante. Gracias por todo.
