“My brother purchased a time share here at Velas 18 years ago and we have been enjoying it ever since! Velas is a beautiful property, the staff is incredible and the rooms are really nice and clean! It's so fun coming year after year and seeing familiar faces on property. This year Marlena the concierge booked us on the Pirate Ship and it was a total blast! She is so sweet and helpful and happy! “We got tricked into a time share presentation (at the airport, guy named Rueben) here and after being told we could leave at anytime had a very hard time be able to leave even after telling our "guide" Jorge that we really did need to leave. Absolutely stunning property and we would have actually been interested if they would have just given us information instead of trying to close us at the resort. Im sure this is a great place to stay and our brief interactions with the actual staff of the hotel were good.”
