“This hotel is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at in all of my years of traveling. My husband and I checked in 8/24 and checked out immediately 8/26. We were treated so poorly that we decided to leave and go to another hotel. Our first day at this resort we went to their beach club and ordered lunch. Once we received our tab we noticed that they uncharged us 30% more then what there menu stated. When we said something regarding the up charges all of the staff pretended that it was out of there control and didn’t know why it happened. Since it was our first day we assumed that it was indeed a system issue and a one off situation. They corrected our tab and we moved on. The next day we ordered room service for dinner and when we received our food and asked to sign the check.. we again seen a significant amount of up charges for the price of the food and a ton of fees added on the tab such as $10 delivery fee + 16% (taxes and fees) + 15% gratuity. None of these fees are listed on the room service menu. So someone manually added all of these fees and changed the prices of the food. When we asked why are there so many up charges? and why is the food not the price that is listed on the room service menu? They had the audacity to say that “the food is being priced based on another restaurants”… we refused to sign the check and asked to speak with a manager regarding the issue. Eventually the room service person came back with another check without the manager and it was corrected to reflect what we should had paid originally. At that point my husband and I realized that we are staying in a Hotel that is ripping people off and stealing from guests and decided that we did not want to spend all of our vacation watching our backs every time we ordered anything so we attempted to check out and the front desk tried to do everything in their power to penalize us for checking out early. They tried to add all of these bogus penalties and rules to the reservation even though we left because of their poor quality of service. I would recommend anyone reading this to avoid this hotel at all cost… unless you are comfortable with being ripped off.”
