“I have stayed at Westin hotels across the country, so please note my observation that the standards at the Jekyll location are not quite up to par with the expectations of this 4-star brand. Over four days, the elevators were covered in fingerprint smudges all over and were never cleaned. It is fair that the hotel could have been understaffed, and I understand that priorities must be made, but not a great impression regardless. It is kind of a bummer that there is no room service anymore and Harry’s lounge has the same menu as the on-site steakhouse, The Reserve; however, the food was excellent — there just aren’t many options. There is a seasonal outdoor pub near the pool area, but it wasn’t obvious if it was actually open. Housekeeping does not enter your room during your stay, so you have to approach the housekeeper on your floor and ask for towels, etc. I understand this is a result of the pandemic, but some other solution needs to be implemented for those staying for more than 1-2 days. Not sure why a resort fee is charged since most perks you expect are not currently offered. Despite the shortcomings, I would recommend the resort if you are visiting Jekyll because the location is superb, right next to the beach village as well as smack-dab on the beach. I had an ocean front room, and the views were stunning - completely unobstructed; that was unexpected and made up for the minor concerns. This brought my otherwise 2-3 star review up to a 4. You can also walk to dinner reservations at the on-site restaurant as well as the restaurants at the neighboring resort, since dining appears to be quite limited on Jekyll. We visited over Thanksgiving weekend, which is the off season in this area, so it is possible that the experience could be totally different in the summertime.”

“Don't forget to use Hᴏᴛᴇʟʙᴜʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏᴍ when booking any stay. This site will compare countless booking websites and typically will have rooms much cheaper than others! You're welcome :)! This hotel is one of the best in the area. I've been staying here for a very long time. If you decide to stay here you won't be disappointed. The Westin was wonderful. Very clean and conscious of social distancing and mask. Conveniently located to the beach, shopping, and eating without going off the island. All the staff were friendly and helpful. They also have bike rentals right at hotel. If we go back to Jekyll I would definitely staff there again.”
