“Loved the lounge, music and singing. The singers were fantastic and our on a great show. It's a fun place to hang out with friends. Unfortunately the food there sucked.”

“Where to start?
Firstly Morocco is known for their Argan Oil and their love for Tea. You must have the Tea!!
1. The staff - reception and assistance is VIP, and I'm not a VIP.
2. The Lounge - beautiful fountain with rose petals floating in the water. The room is spacious and filled with a glorious rose-like fragrance, you almost feel like it's the Rose petala in the water that's the source. Good artwork adorning the walls, and adequate seating. You get complimentary tea, as much as you want when you sit there! Wifi of course. Oh, there's another internal Lounge with hanging balloon like chandeliers. The ambience is intoxicating.
3. The Rooms - (No SMOKING) I can speak for mine. Large comfortable bed that has this drape that gives it a Mediterranean feel, clean fresh sheets, more than adequate furniture. The bathroom has more than necessary towels. The shampoo, body lotion and shower gels have a fantastic fragrance.
Oh, the room had a patio, with its own private garden of sorts (ground floor), sofa chairs and coffee table. Their selection of complimentary tea is incredible. You cannot have enough of the Tea! Room service is complimentary, if I remember correctly.
4. Food - I think they have several restaurants in the Palace. Breakfast is a complete spread! They have inside and outside dining. Outside dining overlooks the pool garden. Ate lunch in the room, but Dinner is an experience. Words cannot express it.
5. Environment - Extremely neat. There was a Green and Red theme I picked up on, although Marrakech is generally brownish red. The hotel had well groomed flowers, gardens and lawns. Roses everywhere.
6. Tea - This deserves a section of its own. You can't get enough of the Tea. I miss it so much.
I wasn't there for a vacation, so I can speak for the leisure parts of the hotel - spa, pool, gym etc, but you can't knock this hotel for anything. The experience is incredible.
Without a doubt, the best Hotel I've ever stayed in. Cheers to Sofitel.”
