“We were the first guests post lockdown and we were greeted with that familiar hospitality that I always get from Shangri-La Mactan. We were happy and worry free during our entire stay. It is evident that everything has been very well thought of - from the Health/Safety Kits (masks, sanitizer, alcohol, Pads etc), sanitizing stations, contactless menus, staff wearing Face masks and Shields and even putting labels on “used” vs “sanitized” pens. We appreciate those gestures and made us zero percent anxious during our stay. The goal for our staycation was to relax and we were exactly able to do that. I do miss being able to enjoy some amenities/restaurants (arcade, main pool and the buffet in Tides) but we understand how safety is the utmost priority for all. Lastly, your staff is the star as it is evident that they are well taken cared off. Happy Staff= Happy Guests.
Only suggestion we got from our stay is more food choices for breakfast and lunch/dinner. That’s it! Overall, The rating is still a solid 5 from me. Kudos Shangri-La! You really made us feel special and A-list during our stay. More power to you!”
