“Superb hotel overlooking the esplanade about a mile from Funchal centre. Sea views from spacious balcony rooms. The staff are incredibly helpful to ensure the requirements of guests are catered for. Well organised buffet breakfast to suit all tastes. Excellent value for money, especially given the quality and location. Can't fault it. Top marks again Pestana.”

“What a beautiful hotel this is, the views are incredible! Location is perfect, 5 minutes away from Funchal centre & the Marina. Every member of staff was friendly, helpful & a credit to the hotel. The grounds & rooms were extremely clean. Food was very nice. I would not hesitate to recommend & we will certainly be visiting again in the future!”
