“The facility is clearly geared towards group tours (tulip season) and business conferences, and the staff and facility both make it clear your stay as a guest is not important to them. The common areas and amenities are renovated and nice, but the rooms are tired and worn out, with no decoration or any effort put into them. The furniture in my room was old and threadbare. The room was stuffy, the "air conditioning" was just a fan that moved the air around, and the windows have no screen, so your choices are be warm or welcome bugs into your room. The staff was not rude, but not friendly. They clearly don't want to deal with you, and will ignore normal customers to service a large group. I had a lunch reservation, but after being seated was told the restaurant was closed (they were feeding 50-100 business conferences attendees). For a property that advertises 3 restaurants, apparently there are none you can have lunch at at 12:20pm on a Wednesday. 24/7 market in lobby was the best aspect, it was convenient and well stocked. The sauna is nice. Parking is free and easy on site. The pros might outweigh the cons for a family on a beach trip for a weekend, but the service sucks.”
