This hotel is an absolute gem. The included amenities are such a nice bonus, though it was pouring rain, so we didn't get to take advantage of the rental bikes or boards. We enjoyed choosing vinyl for the record player to get ready to in the morning, and the bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable. Danny at the front desk was so sweet, thoughtful and courteous; he found us solutions for things we didn't even realize we needed. Each guest dog on premises had a Polaroid posted with their name on it on the VIP board so you could greet them when you ran into them, loved this neat touch! Destiny in the lounge gave top notch lunch service, she shared stories, tips, and laughs with us and she turned our quick snack into a luxury experience instead. Can't imagine staying anywhere else in Huntington Beach, thank you to the Shorebreak staff for an amazing kick off to our vacation!

Really enjoyed our stay at the Kimpton. It is right across from the beach and within walking distance to everything. We brought our two dogs as the hotel is pet friendly. They had three different entrées on their menu just for dogs! 😊 The only thing a little weird is the two elevator system, one to get to the lobby and another to get to rooms. They have record players in the room, but their records are in rough shape, lots of skipping. The bathroom was a nice size with an awesome tub. The pop-up Ski Lodge Bar was cool but was booked for a private party all weekend. Definitely recommend.

Not a typical experience. Yoga classes, complimentary beer and wine,; fire pits, and s’mores; beach bikes and 33s. This is a social stay in a lively beach community. I am not the most social person, COVID kept me happily home. This was the BEST amount of social- laid back and lots of optional offerings for times between trips to the beach and returning from dining and shopping. Dogs are welcomed, too. Not just tolerated, but welcomed. The Pacific Hideaway offered some excellent food for my partner and I. Small menu of delicious offerings along with a real meal for my dog!. Rooms were clean and comfortable with vintage style and simple, high-quality trimmings like cotton robes and good-smelling soaps. Outlet placing was strange, but that was my only blip. Feels like the family you choose and might come to Huntington Beach again just to stay here. Worth every penny.

We spent our wedding week here last year along with this past weekend absolutely enjoyed every bit of this hotel. Kimpton is still my favorite brand of hotel. If you stay here ask for Omar, he provided the best customer service possible. The shoreline restaurant was a little slow on service in the morning but understandable. Valet parking is a little expensive at $39.00 overnight but they are focused on the customer’s. We will be back.

It was a great stay right next to the beach and many eateries. Helpful and pleasant staff. Taking 1 star off due to the room size. However, one should appreciate that Huntington Beach is prime property area. So, more rooms to generate more revenue the better. Hotel restaurant and activities are great. Will stay again!

Excellent stay. Room is pristine. Views are immaculate. Excellent services , hot chocolate bar in the morning, infused waters all day, music, vinyl, you name it. Would come again.

Loved our stay here. So convenient being across the PCH from the beach, right next to Main Street and all of the shops and restaurants. The hotel has a super relaxed and inviting feel and the staff were amazing. Plus lots of perks! Ping pong, football, fire pits and s’mores every night. We had a blast and we’d definitely come back.

The hotel was awesome! All of the staff was super friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to everyone. They had items for the beach and even bike rentals. It was awesome to ride the shore without breaking our bank. The room was super clean and the hotel was clean too! I would choose to stay here again!

Amazing boutique style hotel that is in tune with the local area. Borrow a beach bike or surf board before heading across the street. Love the record player in the room with the vinyl collection available from the lobby.

Our new favorite hotel. The rooms are clean, comfortable and modern. The staff is amazing. Everyone was helpful and kind. We loved the ocean front room. The road is loud with door open but closed it is quieter than expected. They have sound machines to help those who are sensitive to sound. We love the courtyard with the yoga, s'mores at night and beautiful garden. Awesome to have bikes, chairs and beach stuff available at the front desk! Oh I almost forgot to mention the gym, awesome equipment, clean, a rock wall and more. Highly recommend this place!
