“On 12/06/2021, we went on a vacation and thought this would be a wonderful place to enjoy ourselves. Well In advance I booked this hotel which include a King Size bed, deluxe room with a ocean view. Instead I got a room with (2) queen size beds with a ocean view. When I went back down to check-in the Manager "Stephanie Nora" on duty says "King Size beds are not guaranteed upon check-in it's a request, you only pay for the ocean view". I paid for a king size deluxe room with the ocean view well in-advance. Nowhere on the website when I booked my stay at the Royal Sonesta, San Juan stated my King size deluxe room was not guaranteed. I spent over $2000 to have a romantic birthday week vacation for my girlfriend. They had a month to contact me to let me know that my King Size room was not guaranteed. After complaining for two days, they finally decided to give us the King Size deluxe I originally paid for. I will not recommend anybody I know to this hotel.”
