“In all my 31 years of business travel, I've never had a hotel not charge my card for the reservation then demand cash in advance for the entire stay and hold my credit card. That's what they did. I had to use the ATM and pay a fee or walk out. I wasn't alone, the line was long as they did that to everyone. They claimed their electronic system for processing cards was down worldwide but when I checked with my family staying at a different hotel, they weren't treated that way. I reserved it on Senior special at $162, and they charged me $250. When I checked out, they refunded the price difference in cash less fees. I told them if they post any charges to my card I will go after them. That's not all. This place looks impressive from the outside in Milwaukee. Inside it was DIRTY! There was half eaten pizza by the escalator near the lobby. The rooms are cramped and don't have glasses or cups for water. You must bring your own. Don't go to this hotel! My response to the owner: There is no need for further discussion with you. It's very clear from my review what you have to do to make it right: 1.Clean the hotel 2.Put water glasses or cups in the suites, and 3. Don't charge seniors cash up front with surcharges added on to the original low quote.”

“I was concerned reading the reviews after my mom made the reservation. We got there around 5 on a Friday, and I know that's a busy time, I'm a housekeeper at a resort. Valet parking went well. Check-in went well. The room was very clean (other than under the dresser, there was zero dust). It was however well worn... So I understand the comments about updating. The beds were comfy and the pillows too, which was a nice bonus. Also- the review about a cold room- thank the gods because we went to a concert and needed chilly pj time when we got back. We didn't try to eat/drink at the hotel. A couple blocks up there's quite a few bars/restaurants. It's walking distance according to a 69yr old woman that had two jamo shots and has bionic knees. Oh. If you're nervous about heights be warned...glass elevators and open concept.”
