Wir waren im Oktober 2019 in dem neu renovierten Hotel. Wir hatten einen sehr herzlichen Empfang. Alle Angestellten waren zu jeder Zeit freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir hatten ein Zimmer im vorletzten Stockwerk mit einem herrlichen Blick auf das Meer. Die Matratzen waren super bequem.Das Hotel ist fußläufig ca. 10 Minuten vom Strand entfernt. Der Garten ist sehr gepflegt. Das Essen war sehr lecker und abwechslungsreich. Auch gibt es ein Restaurant in dem man ein Menü essen kann. Wir haben dies 1mal gemacht, und waren sehr zufrieden. Außerdem gibt es noch eine Snackbar am Pool.Sehr gerne wären wir in diesem Jahr wieder gekommen, jedoch hat uns da Corona einen Strich durch die Rechnung gemacht. ABER AUFGESCHOBEN IST NICHT AUFGEHOBEN. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Wir wünschen allen Angestellten und deren Familien alles Gute und bleiben Sie gesund.Adios bis dann....

Samuel el socorrista maravilloso el piscinero super majo un trato excelente. Sanrana un camarero, lo mejor de todo el servicio. Super atentos amables, maxima limpieza y prorocolo del cobit, todo muy controlado las habitaciones muy limpias el personal detodo el hotel super atentos y ambles. Incluida la directora lidia. Que siempre te saludaba con una gran sonrisa. Sin duda volveremos

Everything is right here, even in times of Corona.The necessary distances and hygiene measures are conscientiously handled here. Limitations as a result are hardly noticeable.I think it's good that the temperature of the guests is measured when they enter the dining area. Waiting times have been minimal so far, and if so, that's perfectly fine.All of the staff are doing a really fantastic job, thank you 👍🏻The hotel management has a professional overview of everything and the team trustingly follows the instructions - a great team, that's how it should be

Nice and very well maintained area. There is nothing to complain about with the staff, as soon as the glass is empty, someone comes immediately and brings something new. Two large clean pools. If you can't find anything at the buffets, it's your own fault and, to be honest, there is nothing to help. The rooms are large and have a great decor, a very large bathroom, just like the shower. On the TV there is all Languages. Everywhere there are disinfectant dispensers themselves in every elevator and in every room. The entire staff is very, very friendly. The selection of drinks in both bars is large. Everything in the restaurant is in a 200ml bottle so that there is not so much wasted and so it is not so gets cold quickly. There were fresh towels every day in the room and at the pool.I'm already looking forward to my next visit in March 2021.

Samuel the wonderful lifeguard the super nice pool man an excellent deal. Sanrana a waiter, best of all the service. Super attentive kind, maximum cleanliness and prorocolo of the cobit, everything very controlled the rooms very clean the staff of the entire hotel super attentive and friendly. Hotel tranquilo donde descansar, las instalaciones están totalmente reformadas, la comida esta bien, es algo pequeño y los cócteles se podrían mejorar, son todos de elaboración industrial (por ello no le doy las 5 estrellas).Destacaría el trato del personal muy amable y atento sin excepción y la comodidad de la habitación así como su limpieza. Cuenta con dos piscinas, que aunque algo pequeñas tienen suficiente espacio de tumbonas y sombrillas. Tanto el piano bar como la zona de escenario donde se celebran las actuaciones nocturnas cuentan con servicio en mesa, muy rápidos y atentos.

Mi Estancia en el hotel buena, habitaciones muy amplias, y en general bien, comida poca variedad. Y ya por último lo que no me ha gustado que una vez que dejas la habitación no se te permita disfrutar de la piscina, encima que dejas la habitación muy temprano. Que no haces ni siquiera un día de tu estancia ya pagada sin duda no volveré..

I would like to mention in advance that I simply cannot understand some negative reviews. If the hotel room is too "small" for you, you can rule out something like that in advance. Those who are not willing to wait "5 minutes" to come to dinner should be aware that this time is not only used for their health ... There are special times when we are lucky enough to travel allowed to. We not only feel very comfortable here, but also safe. Everything possible is done here. To name just a few: Santana, David, Lucano and all the others who treat everyone here in a friendly and courteous manner and have to wear the mask all day. A big thank you. The rooms are very nice, a wonderful view, the food always fresh, the pool area great. The bar invites you to linger. The rooms are cleaned perfectly every day and the staff here are simply wonderful. When we criticize something, it is some guests who simply cannot appreciate it. But the hotel can't help that. We clearly recommend. The workforce is just wonderful. Thank you for this wonderful vacation in abnormal times.

Quiet hotel to rest, the facilities are completely renovated, the food is fine, it is something small and the cocktails could be improved, they are all industrially produced (that's why I do not give it 5 stars) .I would highlight the treatment of the very friendly and Attentive without exception and the comfort of the room as well as its cleanliness. It has two swimming pools, which although somewhat small have enough space for sun loungers and parasols. Both the piano bar and the stage area where the nightly performances are held have table service, very fast and attentive.

As the previous opinion, this is not a palace, it is a renovated classic riu. The palace's argument is just to increase the prices. If you want to vary your meals go your way, it is not worth it, neither in terms of cocktails not good at all, it is low-end industrial, nor in terms of catering only the open buffet! Forget the restaurent fusion it is closed for an indefinite date while the hotel is full, how to charge a maximum and offer 50% of the services. In addition, if you come with your family, it is overpriced because teenagers pay the same price as an adult and in view of the services offered to date this hotel is too expensive compared to the services offered, we will not be coming back. other hotels have better value for money.

Friendly service and high quality food, the neighborhood and the hotel are very open to sexual difference. Unfortunately, the service often confuses orders or forgets. The big downside are the drinks in the bar which are made of previously prepared liquids which are very sweet and spoil the tastes of basic drinks.It is strange that with a full package of exclusives, the service asks guests for the room number in the restaurant.

My stay in the hotel was good, very spacious rooms, and generally good, food little variety. And finally, what I did not like is that once you leave the room you are not allowed to enjoy the pool, on top of that you leave the room very early. The hotel is completely refurbished. The staff all around is super friendly, helpful, competent and nice. Also food and drinks (all inclusive) are delicious. It’s close to the beach and to the jumbo centre. You also can take a walk to Maspalomas.

Media de 5.2: bastante decepcionados, mala relación calidad precio.Comida 3: variedad pero con muy poca calidad del producto, pan no fresco, mucha bollería y poca comida consistente,no celíacos incluso avisando con antelación. Lo bueno es que había comida vegetariana y variedad.Limpieza 7: habitaciones bien limpias, zonas comunes limpias, lo único las mesas entre comensales se limpiaban muuy pocoTrato 9: todos muy amables, cercanos, simpáticos y dispuestos a ayudar.Instalaciones 6 poca zonas de ocio, no zonas de juegos, buena habitación, zona piscina buena con el bar cercaEspectaculo 1, no nos gustó el espectáculo y además lo ponen durante poco tiempo.

Lovely hotel recently modernised. Staff are very friendly. As an all inclusive hotel the quality/variety of the food is not great. The drinks too are only ok, most cocktails are not well made. To get a late checkout you must call down at 9am that morning to check (inconvenient to plan options) and they charge €15 per person per hour which I think is expensive (was not told this until after calling down).

Hotel is not recommended allegedly has 24 hours all inclusive. Staff at the bar simply forgets orders or staff cuts nicht and doesn't care about the guests. Air conditioning does not work on arrival, balcony door is broken. At breakfast and dinner you have to wait up to 5 minutes to get a fever and then eat. You sit while eating, the tables are pushed apart because suddenly you see that no distance is kept. A shame for a RIU Palace Hotel. And I've been to a lot and in a lot of countries.

We were there in July 2020. The hotel is newly renovated. Therefore, the photos on google maps are no longer up-to-date. There are now two larger pools. The tennis court no longer exists. There is now a parking lot there. The rooms are great. The bathroom is a dream including a rain shower. The safe is included.The corona rules were well implemented in the hotel. The buffet is freely accessible only with a mask, which is also mandatory throughout the hotel. You can remove the mask at the pool and at the table.What was noticed only a bit negative is the cleaning of the loungers, which unfortunately wasn't done after three days.The Crystal restaurant comes highly recommended. Delicious.

Due to Covid, everything is a bit special but they handle it well. Much is still closed in the city. The rooms are unfortunately very small and the price was very high.

First of all I start with the positive, but unfortunately it won't be much. As I read, they have invested 22 million here, giving them an impression of a modern Riu Palace hotel. The rooms, although far too small, are very nicely done. The outdoor area with the two pools is OK. But to speak to the room again, much too small, no seating in the room. The small couch is used as a luggage rack, because otherwise you don't know where to put it. Let's get to the kitchen and I emphasize again that you want to be a palace. Since I have comparisons, I can say that the offer is simply bad. For breakfast, lunch and dinner you can always find the same. Fish, meat, side dishes. No change. No life cooking like in other Palace class hotels. Fresh fruit is a foreign word here, the only thing you can find is water, - and honeydew melon and occasionally pineapple and oranges. Otherwise you will be fed with canned pears and the canned fruit cocktail we all know. Unbearable. Then unfortunately you won't find any leisure activities in this hotel. As we unfortunately had bad weather for a day during our vacation, there were no alternatives as in other Palace Hotels. I speak e.g. Eg from billiards, darts, table football, as is the case in other Palace. So you sit in the much too small room and get bored. Then on our last day, I thought I was in the wrong movie, there is a pool bar where you can help yourself to drinks and snacks. In front of it is a sign, please do not enter with wet things, as far as ok. So I got something or tried it. I was politely asked to go to get something to wear. In the meantime, however, I noticed that Spanish holidaymakers there were using wet things and OK to help themselves freely at the counter. Hello, this is probably where decisions are made. In the end I can say this hotel once and never again. From now on I will drive to hotels with the name Palace and also reflect it in the service.

Enjoyed 14 days in Gran Canaria. Unfortunately, nothing was free in the ABC Club. Discovered a new Hard Rock Cafe on the beach. After what felt like 15 years without it has been open since 2020. Hotel was freshly renovated a year ago, great rooms, very nice staff and in the crystal restaurant, included in the AI, great food. Unfortunately, the card does not change, so we knew everything after a few visits. Breakfast is plentiful. At the buffet meal, the meat was killed twice, dry and very through. Pizza good, I think everyone will find something here. At the bar the drinks were fine too, had a great time. Calima came when we left, but we still made it away from the island.

My best friend and I were here in October and we loved it! We are 19 years old and were probably the only teenagers at the hotel but we didn’t mind. I was an excellent nightlife in the area around, with other young adults so... The hotel was top class, amazing service, clean, nice pool, nice view, beds, food, drinks etc. Have to say an extra thank you to Fran, he was in the reception and he was always smiling and giving the best service! Thank you Riu Palace Palmeras!

My best friend and I were here in October and we loved it! We are 19 years old and were probably the only teenagers at the hotel but we didn’t mind. I was an excellent nightlife in the area around, with other young adults so... The hotel was top class, amazing service, clean, nice pool, nice view, beds, food, drinks etc. Have to say an extra thank you to Fran, he was in the reception and he was always smiling and giving the best service! The chefs and the restaurant staff are very helpful and hard working so you'll enjoy your holiday. The hotel is nice and clean all over and not noisy. Is not so much youngsters there is more a senior place, but if you look for a real relax all-inclusive hotel, this is it! That'll be a good choice. First choose for us anyway.

Great 5 Star experience, cannot recommend this hotel enough, food all day, drinks on tap. Truly a relaxing experience. The only let down is entertainment, however this is a personal preference. The Hotel is immaculate.

He disfrutado mis vacaciones durante 10 años en este hotel y ha sido un completo placer. Con la reforma que se está llevando a cabo, los precios se incrementan más de un 200 % y además solo existe la opción de Todo Incluido (creo que es un error limitar a los clientes únicamente aese régimen), con lo que lamentándolo mucho, creo que el año pasado fué mi última visita a este magnifico establecimiento. Muchas gracias por su atención y trato dispensado.

It's a good RIU hotel but not a RIU palace, having stayed at riu palace Mexico 3 times this is quite a downgrade.The Hotel:It's brand new, opened just a few weeks ago. There are 2 large salt water pools with enough seating for everyone. 1 buffet restaurant but only 1 specialty restaurant (Krystal fusion restaurant), I would have love to see the Italian, Japanse or the Mexican restaurant here also.However the biggest and most disgusting thing is that you're allowed to smoke everywhere around the pool and lounge/show area. So when you're just enjoying your Holliday you also get some free lung cancer from the people laying next to you which is nice.Rooms:We were first given an upgrade to room in a new building next to the main building. These rooms were larger but after staying here one night we found out the hard way that this is were they dumped al the families. Every morning we ware waked up by screaming (not even crying, but ear screeching screaming) at 6 which went on for 2 or 3 hours, so we asked if we could please be moved back to a smaller room in the main building which was done. The rooms are sleek and modern with a spacious bathroom, minibar and balcony.Service:The service here is focussed a lot on Germans, we were constantly spoken to in German whilst were Dutch and on Holliday in Spain. The staff speak beter German than English. The waiter in the restaurant often mixed up still with sparkling water. Also there is no one around the pool who takes drinks orders (in Mexico every 15 min someone came to ask if you wanted something to drink). However overall the staff is very friendly.Food and drinks:The buffet is much smaller than we were used to in Mexico, the quality is good. They could do something like themed buffets like in Mexico. Like one night an Italian buffer, other night Mexican etc. Moreover we were missing someone who makes omelettes to order and your not able to have a cappuccino at the restaurant, which is strange because you can get it at the bar just outside the restaurant (alot of people just went to that bar to get their morning cappuccino).The were very few signs at the buffet so you often didn't know what juice you were drinking or what was at the buffet.Also the pool bar was missing some essential things according to me like: ice coffees and milkshakes.The cocktail selection was also quite small, only around 6 basic cocktails(mojito, pina colada, tequila sunrise, etc)Overall it's a good Riu hotel but it's definitely not a Riu Palace.

Very nice hotel, nice staff rooms are cleaned very well. Much is possible. If you have extra wishes. Everything maintained and clean. Food a lot of choices. Recommended. It is also accessible via a small ramp for wheelchairs. The one pool is also equipped with a seat. There you can be left from the wheelchair into the water. Lifeguard on site. Baby pool a bit off with extra loungers and a small fence.

Hotel en segunda línea de playa, aunque todas las habitaciones a partir de la segunda planta tienen vistas al mar y la piscina.Habitaciones algo anticuadas, en el 2018 van a renovar todas las habitaciones, aunque están muy bien, y sobre todo con mucha limpieza. Los colchones son cómodos y tienen televisión grande plana.Piscina correcta con bastantes hamacas no hace falta correr para cojer una. En el mes de Julio que fuimos hacia bastante calor, sin mojarte un poco difícil aguantar al sol.El trato del personal inmejorable desde la recepción, camareros, servicio de limpieza, a si dan ganas de volver. Todo el personal siempre con una sonrisa en la boca y atentos a cualquier petición.Precios bastantes económicos en el restaurante de la piscina si vas a media pensión.Hotel recomendado sin duda y en una zona de lo mejor de Gran Canarias

El personal del hotel estupendo, muy disponibles para todo, atentos y muy agradables. El Buffet nos ha encantado, muy variado, con productos de buena calidad y bien cocinados , por ejemplo en las cenas había opciones de cremas de verduras, gazpacho, ensaladas, diferentes verduras rehogadas, brócoli, coliflor, repollo...embutidos, quesos, show cooking de carnes y pescados... fruta, helados, dulces..El hotel muy limpio, ya hay muchos comentarios sobre el mobiliario y la decoración, el hotel se renueva próximamente, si mantienen lo bueno que ya tienen (las personas y el buffet) , y además mejoran las instalaciones será excelente .Solo me gustaría advertir que el acceso ala playa del inglés , que es preciosa, es un poco difícil para personas con movilidad reducida, se hace a través de unas escaleras, hay 3 accesos, uno de ellos con una pendiente suave y rampa, pero quería advertirlo ya que yo no lo leí en ningún sitio cuando me informé a la hora de elegir la zona donde alojarme, el ayuntamiento debería poner más medidas para mejorar el acceso en una playa tan concurrida.

Lo mejor del sitio es la amabilidad del personal: muy atentos y agradables.Los desayunos muy bien, con un bufet muy amplio y completo.En algunos detalles se nota que es un hotel algo antiguo y puede que vaya necesitando ya una reformita.Aunque está relativamente cerca de la playa, esta zona tiene un acceso algo complicado y hay que andar un ratito.En general, muy bien.

Hotel muy recomendable!!!El hotel está cerca de la playa, apenas 10 min caminando. Las instalaciones están un poco anticuadas, pero muy cuidadas, simplemente la estetica es antigua. Pero el personal del hotel hace que pienses que estasr en el mejor hotel del mundo, desde las limpiadoras, hasta el jardinero son encantadores. Y por su puesto lo camareros, no tengo suficientes palabras para describir su amabilidad, sonrisa constante y familiaridad, lo dan todo, está siendo una estancia excepcional

Best way to Relax.Place is astonishing and well rounded.Staff is happy and SO are you after Talking with them.9/10 Close to the Sea and Heart of R&R in maspalomas also close to shopping centers.Food is great and all you can eat (depends on "package"), with one issue with chicken Meat which is a bit too raw in flavour more garlic Would make That better in taste. The staff is sooo kind and the place itself wonderful. Only cons are that the way to the beach is oddly long even though the beach isn't that far. Also the mocktails could have been better and the night shows are so loud that sleeping is impossible. If you like a resort with hundreds of hotels right next to each other then it's your kinda place.

The hotel has a great location, 5 minutes walk from the beach. Food at the restaurant is of good quality and caters for English/ German/international clients.Good sized pool with waiter service all day.The evening music was particularly good with a great sax soloist playing early most nights.Worth checking out.

The hotel is completely refurbished. The staff all around is super friendly, helpful, competent and nice. Also food and drinks (all inclusive) are delicious. It’s close to the beach and to the jumbo centre. You also can take a walk to Maspalomas.
