Hotel was very clean, property was nice, staff were friendly. The food was amazing. Always ate at the buffet because it had such a good variety of food that was always good. Not much to do on the resort but you are able to go to the hotel next door where there was a ton of entertainment. They could use a gym with equipment, that would be my only downfall to the trip. I would still return to this resort.

The staff is super nice and helpful! The location is absolutely gorgeous and the resort itself is a beautiful open style design. We had no problems getting anything done. The food was good, I wasn't coming in expecting Michelin star food, some dishes are definitely better than others, but I think everyone can find something they like.

The palace is a very beautiful resort right on the water! The food is very good, lots of options for dinner and all of them are great! The bar service is mediocre but the customer service is terrible. While we stayed, we talked to countless individuals who had personal items stolen from inside their safes including passports, ID, money, credit cards, computers. Their management did absolutely nothing for any of these people. They never once got an apology or recognition, in fact they questioned their guests about their stolen items. It is clearly a staff member stealing these things and the management supports them! Stealing someone’s passport/ID can be a lifelong detriment; this was not taken nearly as serious as it should have been. We are paying a lot of money to stay at a 5 star resort and there is no safety. On our last day, we went back to our room to find our hotel room door wide open and our balcony door (which was dead bolted) wide open. We will never stay again which is disappointing because it’s a very nice resort.

This place is beautiful. There were several reviews complaining about the food. I personally thought the food was great other than it needed a better variety. The people were nice to us. They were very helpful. The reason for the 4 star is because we didn't know the Santa Fe was shut down and we went over for the water park and they security person sent us to the adults only then when we tried to return they made us go threw the beach and we didn't have the proper clothes or shoes on for that. So that wasn't a good thing.

All good reviews here are fake. Or 99% are. Only left a few 1 stars. And this deserves it. Room smelled like wet sewage. Most of the Staff are rude. Food is not great. Putting it nice. Stupid rules Also asked to be woken up to catch the shuttle. Not only did they forget. They charged us $50 for staying 15 min past checkout. No joke. Reused to let us leave before we paid it and made us take a taxi they picked. I can go on. And we supposedly paid for the better hotel. 100 different and this stands out for all the wrong reasons.

A estrutura do hotel é linda, os horários de funcionamento dos restaurantes e bares no entanto, são limitados (até as 22:00). Para crianças, só percebi a área da piscina (suuuper legal). A praia é de queda, bastante violenta para crianças e mesmo adultos. Fui em Maio.

É excelente em quase tudo. Ótimas acomodações, piscinas fantásticas e alimentação realmente muito boa. Boas opções de lazer e festas quase todas as noites. É ambiente mais adulto, embora suporte visita com crianças também. Mas para ir com crianças há opções melhores em outros lugares. A praia tem areias branquinhas mas o mar é extremamente perigoso e não deixam vc nem chegar perto da água. Também não se recomenda atividades fora do resort devido a região ser um pouco perigosa.

Whew…. Where do I even start? Thefood was dreadful…. I couldn’t believe how tasteless the food was … no seasoning no nothing .. just there…. The breakfast and tacos helped me survive. They have no elevators. If you got luggage be prepared to walk everything up the stairs. The room was nice , but the AC worked when it wanted to.. my room felt like a sauna sometimes..The phones in the room didn’t work either… No 24 hour room service.. Seen so many popular reviews about this resort before booking and STILL don’t understand why. 😂 I won’t be back! Back to Breathless I go !!

I definitely like to give 5 star ratings, but very few things made me not to do so.Front desk service is horrible. I have to wait for 45 minutes to checkin.Crew is dead slow like snails.Another thing which you must not try is Bombay Indian restaurant they have.Horrible food, worst service, if you want peace of mind and happy stomach, don't dare to go near to this place.Apart from this two rest is amazing.Had some issues in the room but they fixed them.. don't expect 5 star hotel service.. definitely its 4 star hotel.Location is perfect. Excellent scenic around the hotel.Well maintained. Amazing bars and huge varieties of cocktails.Few bar staff is amazing.Definitely deserves tips.You automatically give them for their best service. Main hotel service crew isn't that great.

Had an amazing time. Everyone is super friendly and helpful. Very family friendly as well. Just be careful on the floors. My boyfriend slipped and fell twice. Dry off thoroughly! We finally got the okay of the land about 3 days in. We tried all the food except the Mexican restaurant, but even the themed restaurants had much of the same food as the main buffet, so we aren't missing out on much. I ate my fill, drank too my heart's content, and really did enjoy everything about this trip. I'd definitely return one day.

Before I booked this hotel, I read all reviews, there is only one thing I agree that Spirit is not the best. 1.check-in is fast 2. Room is remodeled and looks a new one. 3. Facility is located in the best place . 4. Customer services (waiter/waitress)are excellent. 5. Breakfast I gave $2 tip, Lunch $2-5, dinner $5. I didn’t drink too much but each cup I paid $1. Very very good hotel for a family!

Review is based on a pool visit here and not a actual stay. Grounds - Very high end looking resorts especially the pool area. Pools are very nice and kept up, decent seating area, and good location for restaurant areas outside. Staff - Everyone seemed very whatevers and not to happy to be at work and keeping it very casual. If asked for something they would help. Crowd - This place is definitely an older crowd that just wants to go to a quiet place and keep it chill. Pretty chill but not to my liking. Overall it looks It looks very nice, but too quiet for me.

A mi familia y a mi nos encantó el servicio, todos son súper amables. La comida y bebida no te faltarán, en todos lados encuentras de todo un poco. Buen buen show y entretenimiento.Sería bueno tener un médico de planta en el hotel, tuvimos un enfermito y hablar al médico sale un poco caro, aparte que vimos mucho borrachito inconsciente... les llega a pasar algo y no hay nadie que los pueda auxiliar en una emergencia.

Worst all inclusive resort I have stayed at. Someone with a key came into our room & also open the safe & took money from my husband’s wallet. We found out when our key card wouldn’t even alert the keypad. Make a written claim & had management go in our room with some sort of machine to see who accessed our room. We’ve been back for a week & still no answers. Food was not good. The only place that we liked was the Japanese & Italian restaurant. You can’t go eat at any of the other hotel restaurants as we were told. You can only go eat at the buffet not the sit down restaurants. Alcohol is watered down. The thing we did enjoy was the amazing pool & the hotel entertainment. All workers are great except the older man that worked the Pepe’s food stand by the pool. However they had the best food. The Hamburger there are good. They also had good tacos on Saturday morning. The best buffet was Mar de Cortes.If you’re older or have problems walking this is not the hotel for you. Everything is spread out & they have tons of stairs. So it’s definitely not wheelchair friendly. The rooms are nice. We had a great view of the ocean. Workers at the towel house are not very friendly or helpful. We had our maid take our pool towels & they didn’t want to help & gave my mom the mangers name on a sticky pad to go look for him/her. My brother was not having that & told them they need to go get their manager since there was more then one worker. The lady resort supervisor that came to speak with us was full of excuses. I ask if it was because we are Mexican American & spoke Spanish to their staff. Because we we only spoke English, they were much nicer. I all this to say I wouldn’t stay here again. I have traveled across the states & other countries besides Mexico & this is definitely not a place I would spend my money again.

RIU tried to charge me $15 for towel keys that were turned into their pool staff and not given back to the guest at the turn in of said towels. When I spoke with a manager she said that was their policy, however upon a group check in we were just handed envelopes with room keys, no explanation. Several other people had the same argument upon checking out. Lifeguard spent more time on his phone than watching the surf. He missed a guy who was in trouble right in front of him. Lots of drunken guests, no moderation on the abundance of drinks that were co tiny ally served to obviously heavily intoxicated guests. Several fights, no security in sight. Want a good laugh? Check out the terrible entertainment. I had hoped for better from RUI. My credit card company was happy to stop the $15 charge RUI made to my CC for the towel key. It’s a beautiful resort, restaurants and service was good. They just need to step up their game. Spent $8500 here and I will likely go back but hope they step up their game as there are many hotels to choose from

Uno de los mejores lugares para descansar, divertirse y pasar un gran momento en familia, en pareja y con los amigos. Bellas instalaciones, el personal siempre atento, un clima inmejorable y la vista del mar que se une con el cielo. Un hotel all inclusive, en dónde podrás comer algo deliciosoen sus restaurantes, tomar un cóctel, un buen café, postres y hasta comer algo en la piscina directo de la parrilla. Mi experiencia fue de lo mejor, regresaría, pero también me gustaría conocer otros destinos de la misma cadena de hoteles. Uno de los mejores fines de semana!!!

The rooms were a little dated but it was fine. Everybody was really nice. Will definitely go back. One more thing not related to the hotel, avoid people at the airport most of them want to send you to take a timeshare reunion

Beautiful Resort. Great customer service. Awesome atmosphere. Great food unless you are picky like myself. Meaning I don't like to try anything new and enjoy my American Cheese burgers and french fries hahaha. Silver did an amazing job at greeting us every day we were in Cabo and even took the time to remember our names and made us feel special. He is so friendly and does his best to help with any questions or concerns you have. Also great at gathering guests to play bingo, pool games and volley ball. Very informative about shows going on every night at 9pm. Alex was a great waiter. provided the best service by constantly checking on us throughout the night at the 9pm shows. Very friendly gentleman.

Great resort. Clean. Beautiful scenery and delicious food throughout each day. Lots of activities. Silver is a great employee. He takes the time to get to know the guests and their names. Whenever I see Silver he makes me feel very welcomed and remembers my name. Very helpful when needing to find out what shows are going on at 9pm each night and great entertainer during the day for bingo and ping pong. Also he is incredibly handsome!!! Alex is a great waiter. Super hilarious and very friendly. Alex would bring me drinks without me having to ask him. He provides amazing service!!

Si hubiera calificación de -3, se la daría. Pésimo hotel, pésimo servicio, el personal de servicio y el gerente, Cota, eso sí, amables, pero las recepcionistas, un dolor de cabeza. Las instalaciones las peores en las que me he hospedado. Como ya lo había pagado, tuve que quedarme, pero estuve a punto de dejarlo todo e irme de ahí. NUNCA LO RECOMENDARÉ. Quien quiera hospedarse ahí, será bajo su responsabilidad. No había agua en el baño, rota la regadera, sin toallas, no respetaron mi reservación con vista al mar y me cambiaron CUATRO veces de habitación porque no era la que yo había reservado!!! Y así, un sinfín de irregularidades que no les importa resolver para que el cliente tenga una estancia mínimamente agradable. PÉSIMO!!!!

Las habitaciones son bastante amplias y si pides vista al mar, es precioso. Te proporcionan shampoo y jabón, el acondicionador lo debes pedir a la mucama porque no te lo dejan.La comida es buena y variada. Tiene diferentes restaurantes con temáticas diferentes;italiano, indian, japonesa, cortes de carne y buffet.El personal en su mayoría es muy amable,sobre todo la gente en restaurantes.La piscina es muy grande y tienes la opción de disfrutas las albercas del otro hotel Riu Santa Fe que se encuentra en la misma zona.El mar es un poco turbulento en esa zona por lo que es complicado meterse.La ubicación del hotel es céntrico y si deseas salir no está lejos del puerto, Cabo Pulmo está a dos horas y del centro te encuentras a 30 minutos.La experiencia en el hotel fue magnífica, no sufres por tener buena comida y es un hotel que si recomendaría.

Overall the staff was professional and very accommodating. The beach view is amazing. We went to work out at 6:00 am and the gym was open but you could not turn on the lights. We always requested bottled water and were told the water was filtered. We all left with Montezuma's revenge which really made vacation less than pleasant.

Un Hotel increíble, lo tiene absolutamente todo, buen ambiente,excelente vista, las habitaciones completas y muy bien aclimatadas, las albercas son muy grandes y para todas las edades. Son alojamientos todo incluido, con restaurantes de comida italiana, mexicana y salón de eventos tanto al aire libre como cerrados. La arquitectura tipo californiana y mezcla con mexicano Dan un excelente ambiente y el servicio es de lo mejor. Sin olvidar la parte del bebidas incluidas botellas en tu habitación. En lo personal una de las mejores opciones de hospedaje en los cabos.

Hicimos la reservación hoy 21 de octubrey hablamos a recepción 9:45pm por una duda muy básica para saber si las instalaciones operan normalmente.Nos contestó Mercedes, súper mal educada, se escuchaba cómo resoplaba y nos colgó la llamada, volvimos a llamar para pedir por un supervisor y claramente nos pasó a una compañera de recepción Milagros J (ilógico que me pidieron mi nombre completo para pasar mi llamada y cuando yo les pedí su apellido me dijeron que por seguridad no me lo daban) Yo me pregunto, qué necesidad de tratar así a los futuros huéspedes y más cuando recién se está activando la economía durante de la pandemia, se les olvidó que el sector hotelero fue una de las industrias más golpeadas y mucha gente se quedó sin trabajo. Obvio cancele mi reserva, si así atienden a una llamada no me quiero imaginar en el hotel.

Siemore se notara la diferencia de trato con los americanos, un día quisimos entrar a un restaurante y nos sacaron diciendo que ya estaba reservado, pero en la recepción a la llegada nos dijeron que los restaurantes era Sin reservacion, además el hotel tiene pacto con los taxistas que cobran ño que quieren y tienen monopolizado sin dejar entrar a Uber

I found this place to be very restrictiveconsidering that it is an adults only place. The pools close at 7/8pm. No real energy to this place. They weren't even blasting the music. It is beautiful but don't waste your money. The beds were horrible. Tried to shower at 5pm and there was no hot water. No booze in the rooms. No room service.Some stuff if covid related but that doesn't explain why there is no alcohol in the room. There was beer in the fridge though. Dos XX only.The restaurants are terrible. Even for an all-inclusive. I didn't expect much and these still disappointed. It seems that everything is outside. The hotel lobby is outside. So it is hot AF. The restaurants too. It is 90 degrees in October and you are sweating while eating your over cooked, undersized, tough steak. Your room won't get much cooler either.I am incredibly disappointed. I don't have high standards by any means. However, if Applebee's has a better steak... you know you done effed up your vacation. Day 1 of 7. Help me lawd.Did I mention that this place is huge?You might legit roll .4 miles to get from your room to the beach. No bs.

The room smells moldy! Alcoholic beverages are not good, they keep running out of basic a little high end tequila. All Restaurants have very long wait except for the buffet. Tonight we tried the Indian restaurant & my wife soup had a long paper in it. She motioned the server and showed her what was in the soup. A guy named Jorge came by later on and check but I already lost my appetite but trying to be cordial. Don’t waste your money here, go somewhere else. So disappointed!Reply to Riu: Whats the guarantee the next time around is better? You didn't even inquire as to who we are, DM etc. So your respond is a total BS. Am not going to spend another dime on RIU anywhere.

Nice hotel with an extra attention to cleaning during this crazy pandemic; masks required on the property and most definitely inside all restaurants. However it is relaxed somewhat at/in the pools area or walking (most have masks on though if that makes sense).The on drawback for me is the restaurants that are not buffet DO NOT change the menu often.I have been here 5 days and the menus have been the same; so we'll spend today and tomorrow in El Medrano (buffet) because the choices last night were plenty, very good and filling.Don't get me wrong, the food at San Jose (ravioli w/lobster) and Steakhouse's lobster are yummy!!Nevee left the property because it was difficult to get change for a taxi and the front desk wasn't too helpful on that. If it wasn't scorching and my ankle injury, we'd definitely walked which is my preference to get around.The trip was for relaxing and a need for the beach; the beach was pretty much off limits (black flag days), so I enjoyed the hell out of the pool and drinks.

Pleasantly Surprised! This was my first time staying at the RIU Palace as we have always stayed at the regular RIU. We were shocked at how just the simply upgrades made our stay soooo much more enjoyable including the upgraded drink and food selections, and having the option to go the RIU made it even better. The staff was super friendly and the facility super clean. I felt safe with all the COVID precautions and the location was second to none.

Stay away from this hotel infested with roaches! I would expect a supposed 5 star hotel to have better cleanliness. It's just completely gross here. I got food poisoning at Pepes Food bar right near the pool. I had to call in a doctor because the food poisoning was unbearable. To top all of this horrifying experience at the Riu palace Cabo San Lucas, last night two men tried to kick my door down and break into my room to assault me and rob me. The previous night someone broke into my room. It's the worst hotel I've ever been to in my life. This hotel is definitely not a five star hotel. I brought this to the attention to the staff and they did absolutely nothing! I did not feel safe here. Avoid the Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas !!!

Never once had a hard time finding a drink. They have people at the pools bringing you food and drinks. They were only at about half capacity due to COVID, but that was great. The place wasn't overrun with people and you didn't have long lines trying to get in to the restaurants to eat. The main dining area was great for breakfast. The steakhouse and Japanese restaurant were amazing. Also very easy to get a ride to wherever you want to go. The concierge is very knowledgeable and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

Excelente lugar, en lo particular un trato muy bueno por parte de todo el personal, los restaurantes excelentes mi única queja es quizá en los cócteles muy artificiales lo cual le baja calidad a las bebidas, en cuanto a las instalaciones muy agradables todas. Estuvimos 9 días en septiembre'20.Nos gustó, la comida del buffet la mejor y más variada, las de los restaurantes temáticos no nos gustó tanto, casi que podías comer los mismo en el buffet. Por ejemplo, un restaurante japonés/asiático sin sushi?, un italiano sin pizza?, eso pasaba en los temáticos. En resumen con la comida, cenar en el buffet, que teníamos barra libre de camarones, langostas, sushis, etc, etc. La atención del buffet la mejor, siempre acompañado de nuestro camarero favorito Alex, el mejor y más simpático camareroLuego, las albercas, dicen una zona tranquila (lado derecho) y una zona ruidosa (lado izquierdo), si te sitúas mirando desde desde el balcón de la recepción. Las albercas en general muy bien, siempre con sus hot dog, nachos, hamburguesas bien ricas. De lunes a Viernes, creo que pasaba el carrito del elote y del mango. Los camareros de la alberca, los más atentos Celia y Alberto, los mejores, siempre muy atento. Las bebidas, pues las típicas de un todo incluido.Lo que no me gusto, es que permitan bocinas en las albercas, allí cada cual con su propia bocina era un poco mareante la situación, uno con música R&B, otro con música ranchera, otros con música reggaetton y así, más la música de la alberca te volvías locoFaltaban más actividades en la alberca, pero por las circunstancias en las que estamos pues han quitado muchas. Los shows en la noche, bueno podrían ser más amenos, tener más variedad, pero lo mismo, por las circuntancias, demasiado.La limpieza muy buena, cambian el minibar cada dos días, pero si necesitas más cosas llamas y ya te lo traen.Una vez que llegas al hotel, el cubrebocas sólo lo usas para recoger la comida del buffet y poco más.@sergio9243Gracias y saludos

El hotel es bonito y extenso, tiene variadas opciones de entretenimiento para todas las edades y cuenta también con diferentes opciones de alimentos, el personal en general es amable, y su app resulta bastante útil, la limpieza es buena y los cuartos son cómodos.La ubicación del hotel esta bien si cuentas con automóvil, mi habitación me tocó con vista al mar, no es playa para nadar ya que es mar abierto esta zona.

Nos la pasamos increíble mi pareja y yo , todo muy bien con todo y las medidas de seguridad.La habitación todo estaba limpio, y no hubo problemas con respecto a instalaciones.El trato de algunos empleados podría mejorar, entiendo la presión que pudiesen tener al atender a tanta gente pero aún así son algo secos u groseros, también hay muy buenas personas que se ganan bien merecidas sus propinas.Lo único malo podría decirse es que mi prometida olvido unos cuadernos en la habitación me comuniqué una hora después de mi checkout y me dijeron llama más tarde, lo volví a hacer y no me contestaron. Al día siguiente marque y me dieron un correo que porque no era el departamento correspondiente para ello, ya pasaron 4 días y aún no recibo respuesta.Salvo ese ligero asunto , sin pensarlo me volvería a hospedar en el hotel.

Agradable, tranquilo para descansar del ruido y estrés de ciudad, tiene su ambiente en la noche pero no es molesto, la vista es espectacular, las habitaciones comodas y frescas para el calor que hace, agradezco la atención del personal, especialmente a Victor de recepción que es muy amable y busca la forma de ayudarte en lo que pidas y no busca ofrecer lo más caro como muchos,sino lo que buscas a si sea económico.

El lugar es muy amplio, hay muchas albercas y lugares que puedes disfrutar en el hotel.El personal es muy amable y atento (es lo mejor que tiene el hotel) sin embargo, la comida no es muy buena, para comer bien debes ser de los primeros en llegar a las cocinas ya que como todo es buffet si llegas tarde ya todo está frío, la organización y administración dejan mucho que desear, la limpieza es muy buena y los espectáculos son muy divertidos pero siempre repiten el mismo mix de canciones.

Had an amazing stay here. The hotel has a classy look and feel to it, but is budget friendly. The staff is very helpful and friendly, stayed during late August 2020, and everyone took precautions to ensure everyone was safe during this Covid situation. The room was clean, had the ocean view room. They do have a blanket inside the closet if you get cold at night. They don't provide conditioner or body lotion, just shampoo and bar soap. There are 5 restaurants to choose from, including a buffet. Many options available at the buffet. There are 3 pools, including 2 party ones. Usually we hung out at the one on the Santa fe side. One of the reasons why I was excited to visit cabo was this hotel, I'm glad I stayed here. The town isn't at a walking distance, must take a cab (no ubers are allowed in Cabo). Also, there is an ATM inside lounge 24 that provides currency in pesos. Although the staff does accept tips in dollars too.

This hotel is on one of the prime beaches in Cabo San Lucas. We booked through Expedia, which requires you to book a separate shuttle to and from the airport. If you book directly through the RIU website, a hotel shuttle is included. Overall the resort is showing some signs of age, but the overall experience is not degraded because of this. The staff was accommodating and hard-working, and they definitely wanted to make sure that you had a good time. The food was subpar, and was the only disappointing part of the entire stay. The access to activities and the city center is very easy. It is important to note that Uber is available, but you must make a lengthy walk to the gate and often down the street to be picked up. Uber was much more affordable than taxis and shuttles, but there are government regulations that make it harder (yet not impossible) to utilize. Tips were welcomed by everyone we encountered at the resort. We will likely try to stay at the Riu Baja California next time since it is newer, making the ability to utilize the beautiful pools at the Riu Palace worthwhile.

My husband and I had the great pleasure of staying 4 nights last week. We have 0 complaints, we experienced huracán Genoveva and we were amazed Hard work everyone did to keep all of the guest safe yet comfortable at the same time. It was amazing To experience thecare of the staff even during that time. The food was awesome, rooms super clean, pools beautiful, view of the ocean extraordinary.Every one from the staff was so attentive, friendly, respectful. we cannot Say enough how much we enjoyed our selves. Amazing experience in this beautiful hotel!We were there in november 2019, weather was amazing. Had a standard room which was massive and comfy. Also had a minibar that got refilled every day. They had different restaurants to try out, they were all good! Main buffet was really good as well. Two massive pools, they were never crowded. Front beach was lovely for a walk in he evening where you can watch the sunset. Overall, amazing! I would def go back!

The Hotel was nice something was Close do to the pandemic. We had a verynice time until we started packing up to leave. My wife’s AirPods and Gucci case was missing, they had been in the room everyday over the mini refrigerator. We search the entire room, I went to the front desk and spoke with front desk supervisor she took down the report had the housekeepingsupervisor come and search the room also this was on August 29, 2020.No one has been in the room except housekeeping and the person that stocks the refrigerator with water and soda.She told us that it would take 36 hours for them to review the key card to see who have been in the room it has been over a week and have not heard anything from them.We called the hotel today September 4,2020 the gentlemen we spoke to two of the information down again and told us that the managers was in a meeting and someone will call us back within 20 minutes now it has been over five hours and no call back From Management.this is the kind of stuff that would have me tell people do not go to this Resort.

El hotel es muy bonito. Cuenta con todo lo necesario para pasar unos días de descanso o unos días de fiesta. La playa es muy bonita y tiene vista m a las formaciones rocosas donde se encuentra el arco, aunque no se ve tal cual.El personal del hotel( como toda la gente de los cabos) son super atentos, amigables y amables dan ganas de quedarse ahí.

Excelente opción en Cabo.San Lucas para unas vacaciones y descanso excepcional. En general todas las personas muy cordiales. Especialmente en los restaurantes. Irma,Fredy, Pedro con gran calidad y pasión por su trabajo. Se les nota. Por ahí una capitán de meseros (Sarah) el "granito negro en el arroz" pareciera que le falta capacitación y gusto por su trabajo. Sin duda otras personas ahí podrían ser una mejor opción para ser capitanes en los restaurantes. Las instalaciones en perfecto estado. Sinceramente, la experiencia en general fue excelente! Sin duda volvería a repetir. Bien por Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas!

Todo el servicio estuvo dentro del rango de un All Inclusive, podría haber mejoras en el buffet del desayuno pero estuvo bien. Los restaurantes para la cena de comida italiana y baja Californiana fueron los mejores.Los shows nocturnos en La Monumental, una explanada para espectáculos, estuvieron geniales. Excelente Dj y ambientadores.El horario de albercas me hubiera gustado más extendido, cierran a las 8pm al igual que los bares de alberca.

Pésima seguridad y cero empatía de la dirección me robaron mi celular en la habitación 7015 entre las 21:00 y 24:00 horas en lo q lo deje cargando y al regresar de un evento y la cena lo hurtaron, hicimos el reporte en el lobby del edificio 7 y nos dijeron q investigarian y la Dirección nos llamaría pero ya pasaron 12 días de pasamos por ese hotel inseguro y de dirección indiferente, solo como último dato lunes siguiente rastree vía GPS el equipo y se detecto q seguía en el hotel hasta q cambiaron de turno ahí dejo mi comentario

Muy mala seguridad y peor la falta de empatÍa por parte de la direcciÓn, me robaron mi celular en la habitaciÓn 7015 edificio 7 y no me ayudaron les comprobe viagps que mi telÉfono seguia en el hotel y aun asi lo ignoraron quedaron de investigar y ya paso mucho tiempo y nada indiferencia total ya reemplace mi equipo perdÍ informacion pero lo que masperdÍ fue la confianza en hoteles riu

Stayed here in Feb 2020 (prior to anything being truly effected by Covid here). Wow. My husband and I have stayed at multiple other all inclusive resorts in the past, including Sandals, and this was by far the best.The staff went above and beyond. We brought my parents and this was their first time leaving the USA. They had an incredible time, and can't stop talking about it to this day. We each got swim out rooms, and the staff were able to accommodate us in rooms next door to each other, so we were able to enjoy each other's pools and being close! The resort has a gorgeous view of Los Arcos, fantastic pools of different styles and with different music. The foam party at the pool was a blast! The free Gord Bamford concert next door at Riu Santa Re was a great time, and we loved also being able visit Riu Baja Palace if we wanted as well. Out of all 3, we preferred the Palace Cabo San Lucas (this resort) by far. Great stay. Would love to return!

Food was great! Transportation sucks you have to walk all the way to the entrance to catch your uber or taxi. A lot of the employes have an attitude . Plus they need more secury and more life guards 2 people died on my stay it was so sad to see my condolences to both of the families.😪 So people listen if they say you cant be in the beach listen to them you dont want to regret it later.

We were shifted over to another Riu hotel due to the Riu Palace being shut down due to COVID. A bit disappointed to say the least especially since we traveled internationally for a birthday and were sold on the amenities through their website, but when arrived it was a completely different RIU hotel. Not to mention the food & service was subpar.

This is a very nice hotel. The food was magnificent even the hamburgers!! The pla e is clean beyond clean beyond CLEANED they never stop santizing or cleaning. Staff all are required to wear masks 100% of the time.Pools are great jacuzzi SUCKED no heat no bubbles. Just warm💀👀 but it didn't even matter the weather doesn't require a jacuzzi!The entertainment was magnificent and I laughed criedand sang along!! Yasss!!!!I met couples, singles, parents and people from all over the world. This was the best pace to stay all Inclusive resorts! No tips nothing!! Just enjoy they said and I DID!!Beaches are alright can't swim by our hotel but walk 3 minutes west on the same beach and you can dive in and kayak etc!!!Bedrooms are awesome and I had ocean view suite! Magnificent! Beds are confo rooms are cold as you decide! Water was hot for the shower and the service here is great!One complaint and one complaint only, if you go to dinner at a luxury restaurant on property you have to be COMPLETELY DRESSED no swim stuff no towel nothing but you can go in the restaurant. I hated this because after dinner I like to swim. So that's a teck back to the room and elevators here are scarce. Steps steps and more steps which I likes got my exercise in!

I modified the rating to 3.1. When you arrive the first time, be careful, you must wait 1 hour to make the checking. If you talk with supervisor, he could tell you take the other line and wait.2. The bars in the pool. If you wanna a good drink with specific brand you must give a good tip (more than 10 bucks), I don't understand why?? The policy of hotel said all inclusive. If you don't have change, they will give you the worst beverage if you don't want to paid.3. Housekeeping. Be prepared, in my case the housekeeping was ready at 4 pm.Not much to said, if you buy the all inclusive, please give them more money in order to have good drinks, good housekeeping and of course good waitress.I know a better options with better service's.Sorry Riu, the next I prefer to spent my money in another hotel.

We just checked in and we had a really disappointing experience with our room but after speaking with the front desk they went above and beyond to take care of it.Jesus at the front desk was exceptional and really went above and beyond.We have really had a fantastic time so far and Cabo is amazing.

The taxi situation needs to be fixed.The hotel doesnt have a airport shuttle,nor a shuttle going into town.For a cab ride... they ask for $60-70 us which is insane in cabo. Total RIP off.They say uber and Lyft is not legal in Mexico ao they cant allow a car to come onto the property....they wouldn't even give me a ride down to the outside of the property to get a uber which is half the cost.You can only get full bar drinks and pool bar or club.All the restaurants serve the exact same alcohol all day which is only dos equis,white wine, or red.The views are great, location is great, which is why this is 3* some parts are 5*, and some parts are 1*

Considering covid vacation expectations were low. But things at the Riu Palace Cabo were really bad. Lot of locals a drunken spring break crowd. Loud hooting and hollering until 1am in the morning. Just around dinner time more hallway yelling and low socioeconomic behavior. Got feed up and check my wife and son out at 9:45 pm on Sunday. VIDEO POST TO FOLLOW

We had a great time. Nightly entertainment that was really good and sounded great. Rooms were clean and plenty of space. I loved the walk in shower with the rain shower head. We only had time to eat at the Krystal fusion, the dinner buffet and the Italian restaurant and food I ordered was good. There was still so much to do and we didn't get to it all.

Very nice hotel. Rooms are spacious and very clean. The specialty restaurants are ok, the buffet is much better.There’s entertainment every night - singing / dancing. The pool areas are great. The staff are amazing - very friendly, very helpful, and always smiling.Information and signage are a bit scarce. For example, We didn’t know there was two more resorts next door that we could also go to.Tip: Use Uber for transport - much cheaper.

Amazing resort. Beautiful, clean and safe...Great entertainment. 4 pool parties a week. Very loud music..if you hate parties this is not your place.Personally did not attend the pool parties as there was other entertainment more to my liking. Food was great and lots to choose from. The drinks were all tasty and cold. There was even a bar with 4 liquor( gin,rum, whiskey and vodka) dispensers to use. Amazing. Loved my stay❤🌴⛱

Good place with good activities to do (sports, beach, good thematic food restaurants), workers are nice and take care of everything for you. The only problem of staying in it was the spring break. Difficult to sleep if you get noisy neighbours. But if you are a little into partying or do a lot of activities during the day and night, it won't be too much a problem

Haven't done an all inclusive in a few years and we both loved this resort.The entire resort is kept spotless at all times.Our room was large and very comfortable.Restaurants were all very good.Loved having a fully stocked fridge and booze dispenser in the room (rum, vodka, brandy and whiskey).Location is close enough to walk to the marina along the beach (30-40 minutes). The resort is located next to another Riu resort, Santa Fe, and the Palace Baja California is next to that.If you stay at the either 'Palace' resort, you get access to all three.We visited the other two resorts and are happy with our choice.The Santa Fe is definitely a 4 star and more for the partying types.The Baja is new and beautiful but it is a few $100 more than the Palace Cabo San Lucas.Just my two cents worth.

Fabulous all-inclusive, adults-only resort in picturesque Cabo San Lucas. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our weeklong stay.First, the property is beautiful, well maintained and very clean.Food offered at the buffets and specialty restaurants was diverse, plentiful and delicious. From the in-room mini bar to the swim-up bar and themed bars to pool deck service, the beverages flowed constantly.Additionally, the service staff was so hospitable and attentive.Perhaps the best part is the proximity to a variety of land and sea excursions. Whale watching in January is spectacular!

Adults only, delicious and varied food, incredibly good cocktails, very new, great design, rooms with breathtaking views, all you can eat and drink, spectacular service and friendly staff. Morning yoga, evening cappuccino and neon party make this a nearly unbeatable option to enjoy your vacation in Cabo... don't forget morning beach walks!

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They were constantly cleaning so the resort was immaculate. The food was fantastic at the buffet with an amazing assortment. The a la carte restaurants were good but the best, in my option, was the filet at the steak restaurant. The only complaint would be that the noise travels quite a bit in the hallways, so you hear all the late night people coming and going.

Love this place! We had so much fun! Crazy parties, huge selection of food and restaurants. Workers are very nice and polite. Note for vegans: There are vegan options as well, but you have to confirm with the chefs if it's vegan (they are super helpful). I wouldn't go with vegan kids though, as all the desserts and food the kids like is not vegan at all....

We had an excellent time at this resort and would highly recommend. The staff was very friendly and accomadating; the rooms were large, clean with a nice walk in shower. More than enough swim up pools to get drinks so you never waited very long; the nightly entertainment was always something new and most importantly to us, the food was good!! Not just resort food good, it was actually good. We stuffed ourselves like pigs. I guess the only downside to the resort is you will most likely put on weight from all the great food you'll be eating.

Loved the Riu Palace Baja California. The themed parties are super fun. The food is all incredibly good (best buffet I have ever been to!)Look for Aldo at the buffet, he will ensure you have the best time. He made us feel like VIPs.The whole staff was very attentive and kind.Beautiful views and the perfect spot to go to either San Jose or Cabo San Lucas.Definitely worth it.

Views from rooms and bar areas are great too.Only issue is the whooping and shouting from other members from north of the Mexican border USA & Canadian, but, just the same from Brits when in the Mediterranean I suppose...otherwise thumbs up from me....

Hotel todo incluido solo para adultos con una magnífica vista del famoso arco.Cuenta con 5 restaurantes de especialidades para ir a cenar, para entrar a estos no es necesario reservar con anticipación, simplemente puedes llegar y formarte para poder ingresar.Cuenta con 2 albercas infiniti y 2 pool bar.Tambien cuenta con una cafetería, gimnasio, y un teatro al aire libre.Al hospedarte en este Riu Palace te da acceso a ingresar a los 2 complejos Riu que están a un lado el Riu Santa Fé y el Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas.Su playa en enorme pero por su ubicacion el oleaje en un poco fuerte y siempre hay bandera roja, puedes entrar a nadar bajo tu propio riesgo pero no se recomienda.Lo malo, la suite que nos tocó olía mal al entrar comentamos esto pero nunca lo resolvieron, la limpieza de la misma era casi nula, la regadera olía feo y siempre se sentía pegajosa, el baño siempre olía feo, la limpieza de la cama dejaba mucho que desear pues las sábanas, las almohadas y la cobijaque se encuentra en el vestidor todo olía fuerte a sudor desde el primer día.La cobija nunca la cambian para lavarla simplemente la doblan y la colocan nuevamente en el vestidor.La cama da la impresión de que es muy vieja pues al acostarte un simplemente se va de lado como un colchón muy viejo.La televisión nunca tiene señal.El frigobar de la habitación no enfriaba nada y también olía feo.Casi no hay espectáculos en el teatro y al ser al aire libre todo se oye en las habitaciones.En las albercas al ser infiniti no se permite la entrada con inflables cosa que en ningún lado está señalado o indicado, así que después de varios días de estar solo reposando con un inflable y que nadie me había dicho nada llegó un salvavidas muy grosero que me saco y me prohibio de nuevo la entrada a las albercas (no fui hasta Los Cabos a ser agredida), pero eso sí en otros días a otras personas si las dejaron entrar con inflables nos les dijeron nada.La playa hay muchos vendedores los cuales molestan mucho, acosandote ytratando de venderte drogas a no más poder, solo 10 minutos nos bastaron para ya no regresar a la playa(aclaro que esto no es culpa del hotel).En cuanto la comida dispone también de un bufete que si te hospedas algo de tiempo vas a terminar aburrido por qué diario sirven lo mismo (casi todo es huevo, para los que tenemos alergias al huevo no hay mucha variedad y el café que sirven en todo el hotel no es de lo mejor); claro que esto es un problema solo para el desayuno por qué en la noche puedes ir a cualquier restaurant de especialidad.

We stayed at Riu Palace over the Christmas holiday and had a wonderful time.The location is great with nice views of the ocean and the famous arch.The food was excellent, but most importantly the service was top notched compared to other places we have been to in Mexico.All the staff were friendly and went out of their way to help us, we also felt very safe here.The only thing that we thought could be improved a bit was the nightly shows, the Christmas show started 1.5 hours late so our little son missed it.Other than that, we highly recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

DO NOT STAY HERE!! The total experience of the hotel was fine. Food was OK. While we were at breakfast my wife's dress was stolen as well as my ear pods. I made a complaint to the management and they told me they would investigate. RIU corporate said they can't do anything about it unless the room was forced entry or the safe. DO THEY EXPECT ME TO PUT MY WHOLE LUGGAGE IN THE SAFE? There is not accountability, they do not care and all they did was say sorry. AGAIN, do not stay here.

This resort has been the best all inclusive I've been to in 3 different countries. It's very clean, the staff are always cleaning. The staff are extremely pleasant and always greet guests on the way by. This resort has thought of every last detail. Their big pools, one is more for activities, the other is for relaxation. There are 2 pool bars. This trip can be anything you want. It has potential to be a relaxing getaway, it has the potential to be social and mingle (guests were also very friendly) and there is potential to be on a party centred vacation as it is next door to the Riu Santa Fe. Hugo and Cesia, the servers at the buffet were the absolute best part of the trip. They were so friendly, so attentive. They would pull out/push in my chaireverytime I got up. Paid attention to the drink levels and made sure your drink was never empty. I didn't try all the a la carte restaurants because I didn't want to miss the opportunity to see them.

Pretty good resort. Everything was pretty clean. Staff was always friendly. Room service was hit or miss though. We would fill out a breakfast form and it never was what we ordered. Plus the nachos from room service was kinda sad. Food overall was good though. On a side note, pools were closed at 7pm everyday which we thought was kinda dumb. Overall, we had a good time at the Rui Palace.

We have stayed at this resort twice. It has its pros and cons. Pros: the food is fantastic. The meals themselves are amazing and offer a very wide selection for everyone. The desserts are good but a little bland. Also, the drinks flow very freely. It's an all-inclusive and they even keep your room fully stocked with hard alcohol and beers (soda & water too). Most of the staff is friendly and helpful. There are only a handful of staff who seem to not care or are rude. Cons: if you're booking multiple rooms for your group it's next to impossible to ensure your rooms are near each other and the property is large so that is problematic, and as mentioned earlier the unfriendly staff. Lastly, more of a warning than anything, ants are quick to swarm. If you get room service take it with to your next meal to dispose of it or you'll get ants.

This resort is very clean. The staff are constantly cleaning. The buffet food was good. There are plenty of different stations to enjoy. That was my eating choice for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I had about two plates for lunch and dinner due to all of the choices. The specialty restaurants looked nice. I didn't get to try the Indian or the steakhouse. The Japanese and Italian restaurants' food was disgusting. The saving grace for the night at the Italian restaurant was the buffet and ice cream section. The rooms were decent. We had a tv with some English channels, a bath right next to one of the beds which was odd, an amazing shower, and two sinks. The vents had our room smelling like mildew. It was a disgusting smell. There are two pools and two swim up bars on either side of the pool. The infinity pool is beautiful and they have different exercise activities throughout the day. The entertainment at night was great. The drinks at the bars were okay. I only enjoyed a few. Some were watered down while some just didn't taste great at all. Oh yea! It's adult only. The pool parties were another additive at the Riu hotel next door to us. There are 3 so we checked each of them out during our stay.

An all adult all inclusive Resort that has 7 different restaurants entertainment for every flavor and some of the best pools and scenery overlooking the Cabo Arch it all of Baja. Great resort with incredible views. We loved our swim out suite. Service was good. The food was average for an all inclusive except for the taco cart over at the Santa Fe resort square; those tacos were really good. We were there the week after Labor Day and it wasn't too crowded. We did have some people near us partying all night but with the doors closed and A/C on you can't really hear what's happening outside, but you can still hear an echo from the hallway, especially if its a room service cart. We would definitely return.

Stayed here for a bachelor party. The place was amazing! The staff was great! They were always helpful. Big shout out to Aldo in the buffet area. He made our stay enjoyable! I really enjoyed my stay at the Riu Palace adults only. I've stayed at the Sant fe Riu and by far the Palace is much better. It is worth the extra money. Food and Restaurants are by far more superior and I just got much better vibes from everyone working there. Definitely would recommend to anyone looking to have fun in Cabo.

Very beautiful resort but nothing really going on for a girls trip. It's for the older adults or family vacations. Everything shuts down way to early. The food isn't very tasty or authentic.It is centrally located and it's easy to get a ride anywhere. Staff is very attentive and friendly.I'd say it's a 3.5 star.

Stayed here for 4 nights over Christmas break with my family. They take care of everything. The rooms are large and clean. The lobby is massive. The dining options are varied. Buffet is a buffet. Just okay. Night life is a little weird at the resort. They let you hang out at the bar, but it’s not a bar atmosphere.

What an awesome place, from the pool bars, beach front views, brand new water park and party pool that beats any club in town. Quick 15 minute drive downtown and 45 min to the airport. Bebidas muy rebajadas. Te recomiendo solo tomar cerveza ya que las botellas están rebajadisimas. La verdad la comida deja mucho que desear, habitaciones viejas. Nosotros reservamos para el Riu baja California, lo cerraron y nos movieron a este sin ningún aviso y mucho menos algo para compensar.

Cabo San Lucas un lugar increíble y maravilloso, con su clima semi-desértico, Mar de Cortez y Océano Pacífico se unen generando una marea muy intensa, resulta fascinante observar toda ésta belleza natural y es México, no te la puedes perder, te la recomiendo. Maravilloso lugar, pasé unas excelentes vacaciones, entre las actividades diurnas, las fiestas de alberca nocturnas, los espacios, la belleza de mar de Cortés y un grupo de gente experta en hacerte pasar un tiempo de paz y relajación, es una de las mejores opciones para visitar cabos.
