“My husband and I splurged on the Jacuzzi room for two nights after our wedding in lieu of a honeymoon trip several weeks ago (because you know...pandemic). And honestly we were a little disappointed. Nothing was outright horrible, but for the money we spent it was underwhelming. I'm used to cheaper hotels that have a little hallway before opening up to the area with the beds, but this room was just the bed when you opened the door. A bit uncomfortable, but that could just be my opinion. The bathroom looked nice, but wasn't nice to use. To use the shower, you have to step in fully to turn on the water and either stand in the cold water until it warms or run back out of the shower and hope you don't fall. The Jacuzzi tub was nice unless you actually wanted to use the jets, then it's like having a lawn mower in the bathroom. Not really the romantic vibe we were going for. And finally, my biggest gripe is that the ceiling AC vent was positioned to blow directly toward the head of the bed, blowing on our faces all night. We both woke up feeling congested and groggy, but felt better as soon as we were able to move away from that vent. The second night we slept with our heads at the foot of the bed and felt just fine the next morning. Everything was clean, the staff was nice; however I think we could have had a better experience elsewhere for half the price.”

“We enjoyed staying here. I booked a 2bd suite for several days & I was happy to find small soaking tubs in both bathrooms, plus a washer & a dryer. The windows open, everyone wears a mask, and everything is spotlessly clean. Roomservice was pretty good (ya all need to get better cherries for your cocktails bc maraschinos are definitely not 4 star). Check-in was fast & friendly, parking was plentiful, and the Mississippi River view from our rooms was beautiful.criticisms: the bed sheets didn't stay on, both mine & my son's sheets came off repeatedly throughout the 3 nights we were here (this must be happening to the other guests too, which means we're all laying on the same bare mattresses and that's really gross). Also, the tv channels are seriously AWEFUL.there are 5 tvs in our suite (2 of them located inside of the bathroom mirrors), but all of the channels are for old men... nothing but fox news & espn... SO lame”
