“This is a brand new hotel in a great location. The check in experience was overall pleasant and the staff was kind. There was some slight confusion about the credit card that was listed on file, but the staff was patient and kind. The room is small for two larger sized American people. The desk in the corner may be best left out, or the room rearranged slightly. The beds were extremely comfortable and the cleaning staff were excellent. The amenities in the room were wonderful. The iron was slightly confusing as it was written only in Japanese, and not like one I’ve used, but I figured it out quickly. The laundry took over 3 hours for my clothes to dry, it may be better to invest in larger machines. It was nice and convenient they had the machines. The breakfast was excellent, maybe the best tasting and assortment I’ve ever had at a hotel. Thank you for a pleasant stay!”

“Good hotel, looks like just opened a few months ago. Rooms are very comfortable and quite spacious. Breakfast is good with variety of choices. Good espresso coffee and tea selection. Fitness center is very modern and has a lot of cardio machines and some free weights, too. All brand new. Location is also convenient with more or less walking distance from Kyoto station. Alternatively, it’s a 5-min taxi ride. Good for business travel.”
