I didn't spend a lot of time here, just one night. Overall a nice hotel with a lot of character and history. Location is ideal, can't be better in Montreaux. Service is top notch. Price... it is on a higher side by all means, but you can't expect much less from this type of a hotel in this location. Was worth it for me.

Spa, Food, Drinks, Hospitality all 5 star and look forward to my next trip to Switzerland to enjoy the beauty of its people and places. In addition one particular gentlemen, the chief concierge Mr Jose Gill was particularly helpful His assistance last month to secure the COVID test results we needed to exit the country was really important and helpful and I want to thank him again!

We loved Hotel Fairmont. The staff was very attentive and friendly. The breakfast buffett was amazing! The coffee was the best!

Most certainly disappointing. This hotel has incredible potential (a great location, fantastic historical building, amazing city) yet is not being cared for. The service is ok at best - I found the reception staff to be snobby and quite rude. But the concierge was attentive, polite, and gave good recommendations. I didn’t manage to get any sleep on the weekend I stayed due to noise leakage from the nightclub below - when I eventually called reception at 4am they simply said ‘don’t worry it will stop in 30 minutes’ with a blatant disregard for the fact that my nights sleep had been ruined (this was supposed to be a relaxing weekend for me). The room itself was fine - although it clearly has not been cared for. There are marks all over the walls and stains on the tables. The slippers and gowns given in the room are bland, unbranded, and as expected in a four star hotel. Overall this hotel gives off the snobby impression that it is a fantastic 5 star yet it has all the characteristics of a mediocre 4 star. For the money, I’m disappointed.
