“Checked in on Saturday evening, went to use TV in living area while we ate our dinner and there was no remote or cable box. Called the front desk and she asked if we wanted to change rooms and we stated it was late and we had already unpacked everything and could they bring one the next day. Next day, no box. Mentioned it to front desk again, they looked up request, stated they saw request and that I would be rewarded with a discount or reward points for the inconvenience. I said the box could be put in our room anytime during the day while we were skiing. Another day goes by no box. I spoke with front desk and again (even saw the note regarding the box sitting next to the computer) they stated we would get one. Never received. Checked out on Friday (6 night stay) never received the box. After skiing we would sometimes bring our meal back to our room. I don't like to eat in bed, which is why we got the suite so we could sit on the couch and watch tv. Hard to watch tv without the cable box. This wasn't the only issue. Breakfast on Sunday was supposed to be available at 7am. No breakfast. Front desk was trying to get something out for the waiting guests shortly before 7. In a ski town people want to grab breakfast and head out to the slopes early. One day they had breakfast sandwiches that were still ice cold. I think we had one day where everything was okay. Went down one morning a little after 6am for just coffee and there was nothing.Tried calling the front desk twice and no answer. Front desk seems to hide out in the back constantly. Coffee was never consistent. Rarely replenished. Front desk never greeted when coming in. The walls are thin. Major road noise. We woke up at 2:30am with the wind noise from our window and the curtains blowing. Oh, and with checking in they inform you that your room service will not be everyday. I received my bill and we were never given the discount or the rewards as promised on the first day of our stay for the missing cable box...and we ended up with not having one our entire stay after three requests. I finally gave up. I've stayed at several Marriott hotels and I have never left had to leave a negative review but this place deserves it.”

“We got in late after driving 3 hours to the university of Utah for medical issues. The front desk guy was very nice and helped us get a room. The room next to us was up all night I complained to the front desk around midnight with no results. While eating breakfast I seen one of the people from the room and asked the front desk about them. She told me they were homeless and staying there. I let her know they were all loud and up all night. Shen then said sorry but u will be checking out today right ? Seems the homeless here have more consideration than the paying customer. Please don’t go here.”
