This hotel was a joke. You can tell the house keeping staff changes bed sheets, sweeps the floor, takes out the trash, and that's about it. My shower had not been cleaned recently and had a pile of hair in the corner, and I found trash under the bed when reaching for a shoe. The breakfast had very limited options (cereal, no milk, bagels, muffins, toast, yogurt). The waffle maker had been taken apart and laying on the counter, no juice, no coffee, nothing to drink. The hot food had been taken apart to be refilled, but never got done when I was eating. I looked around for a staff person, but couldn't find anyone, not even to checkout. Save your money and stay somewhere else. Old reviews say they are addressing the cleanliness, but that was 6 months ago and obviously nothing has changed. Overall, it was not clean, not an enjoyable stay, and couldn't find any staff to help me.

We left after closer look at the room. Hair left over in shower, counters, and bed. Stains on the sheets! Dusty and dirty floors. Looking at previous reviews I feel like they just need better cleaning service overall.

Room was not as clean as it should have been. Someone’s food was still in the fridge. The breakfast was horrible, eggs were dry and hard. I expected better for a Country Inn. I guess since the pandemic, standards are no longer a thing.

Room was not very clean. Dog hair on bedding. Stained sheets. Hair in bath tub too. Prior tenants phone charger was still plugged in and nightstand was in need of a wipe down too. The place looked like it was recently refreshed but the contractor didn’t do too hot of a job. TV mount had pulled off the wall due to improper mounting so it was sitting on left over flooring being used as a stand. The only good thing about the stay was that the front desk employee was extremely nice. I didn’t even bother to tell her about the condition of the room because I knew it was beyond her and the issues lay else where In the chain so why stress a nice person out! I just purchased a sheet at Walmart and slept on top of that and used my own blanket. :)

I was pleasantly surprised with the room after reading reviews. I asked to see the room to check for cleanliness prior to checking in. The front desk manager was very accommodating. The room had been cleaned well, sheets were clean, as was the bathroom, sink, and floors. Slept really well. It's not a 5 star hotel, but it was not dirty!

This place had a bad sewer smell throughout the motel and the guests were extremely loud and disrespectful past 11pm and up until nearly 6am. The staff did not intervene or if they did the issues were never remedied. They did offer to move us to another room if the odor did not go away but the smell was in the entire place. We did not have a phone in our room so we could not call the front desk unless using our cell phones and the cashier/host was not always accessable at the front desk however the noise could be heard clearly from the second floor all the way to the front doors. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was ok that's the only positive about this place. Even the price was reddiculous compared to other much better places nearby at the same rate. Unfortunately this was the only place available in town and it was obvious why after the fact. We have stayed in better for less and that's a real bitter fact!

The lobby wasn't much to look at, and the hallways need an upgrade. The room has been upgraded and I was pleasantly surprised to find hardwood floors in a nice clean room. Unfortunately the bathroom was not cleaned very well and needs to be updated. The heat lamp was missing from the bathroom with an empty socket exposed in the ceiling.

Other than the smell of smoke in our room, and the need for a little updating, this place was wonderful! Spacious rooms, impeccably clean, and comfy beds! The staff was super kind, and the lobby coffee was delicious. Will definitely stay here again.

I’m not one to leave bad reviews, but this one is called for. I come to Pierre often and usually stay at the Econo Lodge (mainly because it’s cheap.) Well cheap is exactly what you get. It’s a very run down hotel and all around not overly kept up with. This past time I went, I got checked into my room and found out there was only one towel. I thought maybe the housekeeping just forgot to put more in. So I went to the front desk to ask for some more towels and at least a washcloth. They tell me they have a shortage and have no other towels to give me. Due to bad weather I had to stay longer than planned.I had to go up three different days just to get a wash cloth. I wish I was exaggerating when I say it took the shower 10 minutes just to warm up (every single time.) The hallways - especially upstairs - are absolutely disgusting. Out of the 5 employees I talked to up front, 2 acted like they didn’t hate their job. Overall, I was not impressed. Spend a little extra and actually get a good service.

Very affordable, clean, up to date rooms. My room was spacious, clearly recently remodelled, quiet, and all around luxurious. The huge, soft pillows and the nice firm bed were the most comfortable thing in the world. I never wanted to leave.
