“This is a small hotel, in a fantastic location! It's a two minute walk away from a free ferry that takes your across the river to the central station in 12 minutes. Close enough to the city centre, but far from the noise!
The view from the room is fantastic - you look over the river to the city, and it's just beautiful in the evening once the lights are on! The bed is comfortable, the toiletries are nice.. standard Hilton fare, really, as one would expect.
On the Sunday we arrived, there was what looked like a flea market right outside the hotel.
Within a couple minutes walking distance, there are a few good bars and restaurants - i recommend the little Italian bar in getting of the hotel. Superb pizza!!
The hotel restaurant has very good food, though the menu isn't very large. Definitely have at least one meal there.
Finally - superb service all round by the staff. They were warm, friendly, prompt to respond..
This hotel is a gem, and I'm pretty sure it's where I will stay every time I'm in Amsterdam.”
