Service was really nice and the rooms are beautiful. Unfortunately I have to give them two stars. They still have everything closed down ...all amenities including the pool and hot tub. It's fine if they need to close them down as part of the pandemic but it really should be clearly stated. I was specifically looking for a hotel with a hot tub and it's closed :-(

Meus espelhos tinham o que eu suponho ser pasta de dente espalhada neles. Eu explorei a área e acabei me registrando em outro hotel mais próximo do local do show que tinha uma equipe muito educada e o hotel e os quartos eram muito mais limpos. Na área imediata (literalmente ao lado um do outro) são duas outras opções de hotel...há um Residence Inn by Marriott e um Hilton Garden creio. Eu gastaria mais alguns dólares na esperança de que o serviço, as camas e a limpeza fossem melhores. Escusado será dizer que se houver um evento na área novamente, eu definitivamente não voltaria e evitarei estadias na marca Sonesta no futuro.

After being on the road for 4 hours I arrived to the hotel 35 minutes before the 3pm check in time. I went inside to ask if I could possibly check in early (you have to be buzzed in) and as soon as the door opens the lady at the front desk yells across the lobby "if you're here to check in check in time isn't until 3pm". I understand rules are made to be followed, I get it, but I would have appreciated a little professionalism on her part to at least pretend to want to accommodate me even if the result (me having to wait 35 minutes to check in) was the same. So I go outside and wait until 3pm to come back to a very rude check in process (by the same lady). I was already turned off by my experience with the front desk only to open the door to a room that was subpar especially for the price I paid (there was a concert going on at the FedEx Field so I'm hoping that's why the prices were inflated). The bed was springy and lacked support or cushion, the pillows were flat, and my comforter was dingy and stained. The shower is VERY small (tub/shower combo) and had hair in it. My mirrors had what I assume to be toothpaste splattered on it. I explored the area and ended up checking into another hotel nearer to the concert venue that had a very polite staff and the hotel and rooms were a lot cleaner. In the immediate area (literally next door to each other) are two other hotel options...there is a Residence Inn by Marriott and a Hilton Garden I believe. I would fork over the extra couple of dollars in hopes that the service, beds, and cleanliness are better. Needless to say if there is an event in the area again I would definitely not come back and will avoid any stays at the Sonesta brand in the future.

Place a bit weird. 4th floor is probably under construction because the hallway is not air conditioned, super hot during the day and smell like rodents and have a few wall coverings taped in place by masking tape and a part of the hallway curtained off and that where the heat is coming from. The rooms are quite nice and AC works. Clean bathroom. Although the toilet is super high and you feel like a perching eagle with feet dangling (I am 5'10")... Pillows are of 2 varieties - feather and synthetic. Decent mattress as well. There is even a little balcony with a nice view onto the inner patio. The pool is closed due to some regulation from 2020. Gym is open 24 hrs with free weights, 2 treadmills and an elliptical. Towels, disinfectant wipes and chilled water machine make it a nice experience working out. Bar is closed.

Fiquei no Sonesta no sábado passado pelo Memorial Day quando estava na cidade visitando a família. A equipe foi agradável e útil. Nada sobre este hotel faz valer o preço. A equipe não é profissional. Eles cobraram o dobro do nosso cartão bancário sem motivo. Nothing about this hotel makes it worth the price. Staff is unprofessional. They double charged our bank card for no reason. They said the money would go back to our account same day, had to wait 5+ days. Rooms are decent, no amenities here except a mediocre gym. Pool is closed for no reason, you have to request microwaves, the fridge in rooms is very small and don’t work well. Definitely shady at night, a guy kept trying to sell stuff to us as we enter and exit the hotel building. Late at night people standing in the hallways talking loudly. The front desk people have no respect and speak to you like you have never stayed in a hotel before, don’t waste your money! Do not recommend and won’t return.

I stayed at the Sonesta this past Saturday through Memorial Day when I was in town visiting family. The staff was nice and helpful. There was a problem with the AC in my room and within 10-15 mins, the engineer was there to fix it. And this was after 7pm on a Saturday. My room was clean and tidy. All furnishings looked current and fresh. I liked the layout of the room. And it was quiet (as long as you kept the window closed to block out traffic noise). As a female traveling alone, I felt safe there. My only minor complaint was the size of the refrigerator. Really small. But it was nice that there was one and it kept my bottled water cold. Oh, and I could not get connected to the internet. There is a number to call but I just decided it was easier to make it a computer free weekend.
