“Sinto que fui discriminado. Raça e idade? Temos um quarto para 2 adultos, eu e minha namorada. Na chegada eu tinha outro homem conosco (homem negro), eu estava dando uma carona para o extremo sul da cidade, mas parei para pegar meu quarto antes de ir e voltar, (precisava de um banho, eu estava trabalhando o dia todo e tinha cerca de uma hora de carro antes de chegar eu cheguei no hotel, então naturalmente era eu minha namorada e nosso visitante. Ficamos lá cerca de 30 minutos. Após o check-in, tomei banho e minha namorada começou a levar o rebanho. E eu estava me preparando para terminar de levar minha colega de trabalho para casa e recebo uma batida na porta, é a recepcionista que nos verificou, ela perguntou quantos adultos estavam hospedados. Eu disse 2 e eu estava levando minha amiga para casa, bem, ela basicamente me disse que eu não poderia ter uma visita. E então começou a me perguntar quantos anos tinha minha namorada. Eu disse a ela que ela era bem maior de idade e que não era da conta dela e o outro adulto que você estava correndo para casa. Então eu prontamente saí para levá-lo e voltei, cancelei minha estadia. Recuperei meu depósito. Não foi oferecido um reembolso, apenas tendo espaço talvez 2 horas e saí de lá, cansado. Mas limpo. Muito ofendido. E senti que a única razão pela qual me perguntaram alguma coisa pela equipe foi porque eu era um homem branco, de meia idade, um homem negro e uma garota branca mais nova. sem problemas para quaisquer outros clientes nesse hotel, eu fiquei em muitos dos hotéis ao redor da cidade de Henderson ,ky e nunca fui geustion por uma pessoa com metade da minha idade sobre quem eu estava com ou a idade. Minha privacidade foi violada e não vou ficar em outra pousada de conforto.”

“I feel I was discriminated against. Race and age? We got a room for 2 adults, me and my girlfriend. Upon arrival I had another man with us ( black male), I was giving a ride to the south end of town ,but stopped to get my room before driving there and back, ( needed a shower ,I had been working all day and had about an hour drive before arri I got at hotel, so naturally it was me my girlfriend and out visitor. We were there about 30 minutes. After check in, I had showered and my girlfriend started to take herd. And I was just getting ready to finish taking my Co worker home and I get a knock at the door, it's the clerk who checked us I'm, she asked how many adults were staying. I said 2 and I was taking my friend home, well she basically told me I couldn't have a visitor. And then proceeded to ask me how old was my girlfriend. I told her she was well of age and it was none of her business and the other adult u was running home. So I promptly did leave to take him hoke and came back, canceled my stay. Got my deposit back. Was not offered a refund , only having room maybe 2 hrs, and left there ,tired. But clean. Very offended. And felt the only reason I was asked anything by the staff was because , I was a white man , mid aged , a black man, and a younger white girl..there was no complaints, we were no drinking , no drugs , and were no problems to any other customers at that hotel, I have stayed in many of the hotels around the town of henderson ,ky and never have i been geustion by a person half my age about who I was with or there age. Mynprivacy was violated and I won't stay at another comfort inn.”
