“I visited with one of my girl friends for 5 days during the last week of August. The breakfast buffet was probably the best I have ever had. The pool was excellent. For some reason the swimming at the beach was closed, but neighboring establishments allowed swimming. The rooms were decent, not very fancy, but suitable. My impression is that this is a resort built for families and I am lucky I did not go there alone. Patong is a good 30 minutes away as well as a lot of the sites. I did rent a car and we drove around the island, but this resort is best suited for families and those couples that are interested in chilling and not doing much else. I paid just less than $100 a night; which was very good. I would not pay over $200 a night.”
