“Update* The new manager Chris is very nice and professional. He was very helpful and took care of the problem!
I stayed at the Westin in Itasca for Valentine’s Day. I am only giving this two stars because the room was nice and clean. I booked the “suite life Valentine’s Day package” in a king suite. That was supposed to include: gourmet picnic basket, 1 bottle of wine, in-room movie, a fruit amenity, and late checkout at 4pm. We only received a small cheese platter and a bottle of wine. The front desk lady didn’t know anything about this package. She didn’t believe us that check out was 4 pm, we had to prove it by showing her a picture of what this package included. We booked this through their website too. We had someone knocking on our door at 1 pm asking us if we departed yet. They made it out to be a huge deal that check out was at 4. We didn’t even get everything in the package. We asked the front desk lady that we didn’t get everything included and she said the cheese platter is the gourmet basket. It was a waste of money. I do not recommend anyone to get a package at this hotel. I was better off buying a regular room, I would have saved $150+. I am very disappointed with this hotel.”
