“I am a long-time Drake customer, 40 years. I booked a suite for the weekend to celebrate my partner's birthday. No concierge @ a 4-star hotel! None. No room service. Two only restaurants partially open. The condition of the suite was astoundingly poor. The Whirlpool in the bathroom(a main reason we booked this room) did not work. Nothing in the room that was not nailed down was in the room. No pillows on the sofa or chairs. No bath robes. No extra pillows or blankets. No wine or drink glasses, or glasses in the bathroom. A 2-foot tall sick plant in a pot meant for a 6-8' plant. Dirty windows. Peeling paint in many places. Old paint
This was beyond disappointing! The Drake is charging 4-star prices for a now 2-star hotel.”
