“I learned a valuable lesson regarding timeshares: exchanging puts you at the bottom of the totem pole. Expecting a nice studio with a deck, we got a postage stamp with no deck in the Cascade units. I went back to the office and asked if we could be moved. I was told that they couldn’t and I had to change my reservation through Interval International. I know that they can move just about anyone anywhere with a computer stroke and there’s a big difference between “can’t” and “won’t.”We stayed the one night and left the next day. The manager that day was pretty accommodating and was willing to change us, but by that time we were ready to leave. They did refund our money, which I appreciated. I understand now that owners and full price guests get the better rooms: that’s just business. The Cascades units are tiny.The grounds were very well kept and they have a lot of pretty pools. It is a very large resort”
