“Compared to other hotels in Foz do Iguaçu in the same price range the Ibis budget is not a very good deal at all. The R$ 200 per night that I paid did not include breakfast, instead it comes at an additional charge. If you try to check in before the stated time you have to pay extra. The room itself was tiny. The bathroom was small and had an odd odor, and you have to buy your own shampoo (only the bar of soap is included in the room rate). The room wasn't cleaned the day after my first night, so the second day I had to ask the reception explicitly to send somebody to empty the trash can in the room. On the positive side the staff were friendly and helpful, the hotel and the room were very clean, and the location is just across the street from a big shopping center. However, you can find much better options in Foz do Iguaçu for the same price or slightly more.”
