“My rating isn’t due to poor service or even the cleanliness of the room. I stayed for the Christmas parade in November of last year with my daughter for one night. This year when trying to book again for the same event I was told it is a two night minimum stay. A manager did finally agree to override this “policy” and we were able to stay for one night in November thoroughly enjoying the parade and downtown. Realistically at $200 a night who could afford to stay two nights or was the price jacked up because of the parade? And for $200 a night I think there should be a complimentary breakfast and a hot tub which this motel has neither. Fast forward to this month (December). I tried making another reservation for a one night stay and was told again a two night minimum policy and this time the manager on duty stuck to “policy”. I have never heard of a two night minimum stay anywhere except maybe beach front property. It sounds to me like the consumer is being taken advantage of here. Sadly the staff at the desk and even the maintenance man that came to fix our heat in the room when we stayed in November were all very nice and helpful people. My review is for consumers to question why. I will not stay at this establishment again or recommend it unless things change.”

“OK for a nights sleep and a travel stop. I stayed in Room 502 and thought the room was dusty, sheets were stained, and HVAC unit was not working right. There was a very odd musty, stale, smell to the room and in the halls in general, but really noticeable in the room. Some good things were the price point was good, comfortable bed, good breakfast. The lobby was cool too. You can tell they try, it wasn't a horrible stay, and the staff were nice so you can decide if it would work for you. I will add that there is a really cool chandelier when you walk in.”
