just had a 4 night stay there and i can say i cant understand some of the negative reviews. obviously we cant comment on the ones regarding cancellations but the ones regarding the hotel itself and staff appear to be way off the mark in my experience. my friend booked a twin room for the 2 of us and i read he reviews after he had booked it and these caused us great concern..but we need not have worried. we found the room perfect for what we needed. clean,tidy,comfortable and relatively quiet. beds n towels changed every day.staff very friendly and helpful. and the breakfest selection excellent. pool area is the only reason we gave it 4 instead of 5. bit small and in need of a little miantence but served its purpose fine.

It is a nice hotel located close to the city centre in Barcelona. We booked through their official site where the prices are lower. The hotel is very nice, very recently renovated with newly furnished rooms. Its advantages are: 1.Value for money (we booked 3 and a half months before our stay at 250€ approximately for 5 nights) 2. Clean and convenient rooms 3. Close to the city centre 4. Friendly staff 5. Complimentary bottle of water every day 6. Private balcony Its disadvantages are: 1. Really small- tiny pool 2. No cafeteria on the roof garden 3. Expensive breakfast 4. No bed availability (we wanted a room with separate beds but we got a double) All in all, comparing with other hotels in Barcelona I firmly believe that it is a very good choice.

We received a room that did not look like the pictures from their website. We asked for a "double room with a terrace" which is something like a "intermediate" accommodation, not luxurious but not the cheapest either. We were expecting a big place with view over the terrace (like the photos showed). Instead we were placed in a singles room that had a double bed placed against the wall, having only one nightstand. I'll attach some photos. We did not have the energy to fight this choice, since we were very tired from our travel, but next time I'll know to refuse the room if it's nothing like the photos. Moreover, you can hear everything through the walls, especially noise coming from the hallway and the rooms next to us. In the mornings, there was no chance of sleeping in! Also, be careful that the price in the reservation is not final. Upon check-in, you are asked to pay a city tax (5%). It's not much, but they should've specified in the reservation the total price to pay. All in all, we paid 420€ for 4 nights. I understand that Barcelona is an expensive city, but you would expect great rooms for such a spicy price. I gave it 2 stars because the room service was pleasant and the room was kept clean each day.

Good stay, large rooms with real dressing, fell like home for couple of days. The swimming pool on the rooftop offers a nice view on Barcelona's roofs. Parking (for money) was nice to have but avoid it with a long car, entrance is pretty tiny and curvy.

FRAUD, BE CAREFUL I booked this hotel on booking.com for a good price 3-4 months before my trip when the prices were much lower. Yesterday I got a notification from booking about an unsuccessful attempt to authorize my credit card. Long story short, I used 2 different cards from different banks, both cards are working perfectly fine with other bookings (I even purchased another hotel with one of the cards on the same day!). I texted the hotel several times emphasizing how important this booking is to me. No help from their side, no response - that's just rude. They still canceled by booking without specifying the error they got, though I asked them several times. Now to the fraud part - I booked this hotel for 520€, at the moment the prices doubled and the same hotel could cost 1000€. I suspect they just want to get more money and they don't really care about their clients. Here are some reasons to think so: 1. Both banks told me that the transactions were somehow declined from the hotel's side. 2. There was no attempt to help me at all, no error code provided, no proof why the card could be declined. 3. There are several similar reviews here with the same scheme. Now I'm very mad and upset because I have nowhere to live in Barcelona.

Me and my partner stayed here for 4 nights, we were hardly in the hotel room, however the walls are so thin all we could here was the couple next door for hours screaming and moaning, i know this...
