“First I want to start by saying the first night was great! 5 star service from the staff, the food was amazing, the pool was nice the view was beautiful everything was great! No complaints what so ever. But on the website it was advertised all over that there was complimentary breakfast. So after our great night at the Caribe Royale, we wake up in the morning at 6:30 to get ready for the complimentary breakfast and it is 25 dollars a person. Obviously after we got ready and went to the main building to get breakfast we were going to eat whether it was free or not because we were hungry. We had terrible service and the food was not good at all. Our server only came to our table 1 time after seating us and it was to bring us the bill of 132 dollars as there was an 18% service charge included after tax. The price is not the issue though. The issue was for that price we could have eaten at a 5 star restaurant with food that didn't have flies and insects flying around the food at the self serve bar. Not to mention all of the staff standing at the front desk of the restaurant staring at us when all of our drinks were empty. Very unfortunate that the breakfast ruined the amazing trip from the day before.”
