The bellhop carts were lifesavers, whoever made that happen needs a raise.Only complaint is that the desk isn't open early enough/it's really difficult to get to someone. My sister locked the keys in the car and I bet one of the maintenance dudes could have helped us out, but no one was around at 7:45 am.

Apparently this is a condo building so the room you get may vary. However, this building is very old. Like, built-before-central-AC-was a thing old. The AC and fans were added in as an afterthought. The tiny window mounted AC is loud and must be on at all times to just keep the room at cool room temperature. This would make for a great old but cheap hotel but the problem is it’s not cheap. Rates are high and it has a myriad of random hidden fees that bump up the advertised pre-fee price by 30%! If you are looking for comfort/luxury, do not go here. If you are looking to save money, do not go here either: there are plenty of much better options for the same or even cheaper prices right next to this place. I will give this place some credit: they really try to make it as clean and neat as the room can be; my room had a nice remodeled bathroom. However at the end of the day, these old condos need a complete remodel if they are to compete with an actual hotel room. This place has one saving grace: if you are traveling with kids and strictly need a room with a kitchen, laundry, couch for the kids, and bed, then this could be a great place that accommodates all of that. However, if you’re a couple looking to get away then I wouldn’t take a chance with this place; you can get a much more pleasant experience for a much cheaper price.

Muy bonito lugar para vacaciones

Small rooms, no housekeeping (throw your own trash in dumpster across the road), no privacy, (wafer thin walls), extremely slow WiFi (1MBPS). Will charge you and arm and a leg for everything from cleaning, linens, did I mention an extra tiny bar of soap is $3? Sounds great for a vacation, eh!?

I'd give it a "D+" Sure, I know we were traveling in the summer of 2021 and things have not fully bounced back after the beginnings of the pandemic but I am getting tired of that being an excuse for bad experiences. The ladies at the front desk were very nice but that didn't make our stay worthwhile. To begin with, the room was very small and cramped. It was difficult to maneuver around the bed since the stand for the TV was in the way. Being picky, it was also very tacky with it's mismatched furnishings and dorm-like appearance. After our second night, and severe back pain, we realized the bed we were sleeping on was broken. Ouch! We tired to contact the front desk around 7:00 PM on our second night and were prompted to leave a voice message that was never returned. Weird. I've never had to (a) leave a voicemail for the front desk or (b) have the front desk not respond to my needs. Well, apparently, "due to the pandemic" their front desk was only operating from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Something that would have been nice to know upon our check in. We had to wait over 12 hours for more towels and coffee cups for the morning. Additionally, we saw several roaches in the hallway. Not the fun, smoke 'em if you've got 'em kind of roach, but the gross bug kind. Yuck. This was a more affordable place but I will never stay here again. Do yourself a favor and pay the higher rate for a nicer location so you can really enjoy your visit.

Lots of fees and very little service. No lobby when it's late. The key card usually took multiple tries to get in, and there were rusty tools left on bathroom sink, including wrenches. There's a $150 cleaning fee, but we found dust in multiple places on arrival and were told to throw away "rubbish" ourselves on leaving. Keeping it in the two garbage cans they provided may incur additional fees. The bed and sofa were too soft. The air conditioner was loud, and so was the vent in the small bathroom. As others mentioned, it is old. Given the price, this is a disappointment for our short stay in Maui.

Antiquado, mas confortável e em uma ótima localização. A kitchenette, as casas de banho e os móveis mostram um pouco de desgaste. Do outro lado da rua de um parque de praia e uma curta distância de ótimas opções e lojas. Minha maior reclamação é que os vizinhos deixam seus filhos correrem para cima e para baixo no corredor assim, atrás dos únicos aqui. Ficaria aqui novamente!

Dated but comfortable, and in a great location. The kitchenette, bathrooms, and furniture after showing a bit of wear. Right across the street from a beach park and easy walking distance from great good options and shopping. My biggest complaint is that the neighbors let their kids run up and down the hall like that after the only ones here. Would stay here again!

Quarto pequeno, itens antigos como torradeira, microondas e geladeira, mas em bom estado. Só a cafeteira que é péssima, bem antiga e deixam um rolo de papel toalha e café em pó para o hóspede fazer. Sugiro aderir a café em cápsula, mesmo com custo superior evita sujeira e o cliente fica mais satisfeito.Funcionários educados.Não há elevadores. Ficamos apenas no 3° andar, porém para carregar malas não foi nada legal.Bom estacionamento, com bastante vaga disponível e "grátis".É um bom lugar, localização ótima, porém nada de especial. Não tem bom custo benefício, talvez pelo mesmo preço poderíamos encontrar hotel melhor e mais acolhedor.

Loved this place! WiFi was good enough for me to get some work done (including video chats with coworkers) and my room was clean and nice. I didn’t use the grills (in the pool area), but if I stay here again, I would definitely have a poolside BBQ! Can’t see the beach from most rooms at the resort, but it’s a very short walk away

I quit the timeshare business. They have become so jackbooted and thieving that it's unbelievable. The Maui Banyan is a group of condos that have to be the best I visited yet without being really upscale. It's not five hundred a night, it's around a hundred and fifty to 250 pending on the season. It's right on the beach and the grounds are manicured beautifully. Right next to a small shopping center where just about everything you'd want to get in Hawaii anyway is right there. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Great location near to many eateries and beaches. The one room apartment we got was great, came with washer, dryer, dishwasher and full kitchen for cooking or BBQ if you'd like. The only drawback was that our room was a little bit dated, kinda like something out of the 80s, and the air-conditioning was loud and didn't cover the bedroom.

This hotels location is great. Also most of the staff was friendly. Our favorite where our room attendants. We also have many issues. The room was not ready on ready on time and it was dirty. Also we bought luau tickets from the hotel and were an hour late. We did not have hot water for 3 days and we still don't. The manager called and took 20 dollars off for the inconvenience. I paid over 1600 for this room and expected to get hot water etc. I am here now we will see if they do anything about my stay if not you will see comments of the other 9 peoples experiences as well.

Staff is great, the beach is a 3 minute walk away. Hotel grounds are beautiful, tons of natural wild life, the pool and BBQ area are clean and easy to get to but the BEST part is all the amenities they offer. Full size kitchen, washer/dryer in rooms, separate sleeping areas. We travelled with a 18 months old, so it was great being able to go grocery shopping and have food/milk easily available for her.
