Brief information about the hotel

The lodge sits high in the Canadian Rockies, at 2195 m in the heart of the Sunshine Village Ski & Snowboard resort. Because it is the only ski-in/ski-out accommodation in Banff National Park, guests will be the first on the slopes each morning. Enjoying an extraordinary location at the heart of a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the only ski-in/ski-out lodge in Banff offers its customers exceptional value. Located mountainside, all of the 843 rooms have spectacular views. In addition to a lobby area with 24-hour reception and check-out services and lift access to the upper floors, facilities available to guests at this family-friendly ski hotel include a café, bar, TV lounge, restaurants, conference facilities and high-speed Internet access (fees apply). There is a games room, as well as complimentary board games. Furthermore, guess can take advantage of room service and a washing facility for a fee while those arriving by car may leave their vehicles in the hotel car park. A complimentary shuttle to Banff is provided. The lodge offers a broad range of rooms that are all decorated with a rustic mountain theme and have luxury touches to ensure guests are pampered after a day at the slopes. All rooms offer a flat-screen TV with cable, high-speed Internet access and windows that open for fresh mountain air. Some rooms have slate floor bathrooms and surround showers. Further standard features of accommodation units include a hairdryer, direct dial telephone and a double or king-size bed, as well as individually regulated air conditioning and a balcony/terrace. The hotel has a large outdoor heated swimming pool, gym, spa facilities (fees apply), sauna and ski lockers, and tobogganing. Facilities for playing pool/snooker are provided and movie nights and programmes of entertainment are laid on for adults and children alike. Meanwhile, fans of the fairway can head to the nearest golf course, Banff Springs Golf Course, which is about 18 km away from the hotel.
