Hotel Mossone, which in days past was visited by the cream of Peruvian aristocracy, and which is situated on the Huacachina lagoon (the only natural oasis in the Americas), is without doubt the jewel of Ica. The hotel faces the natural marvel of the lagoon and is named after the Italo-Peruvian family Mossone, who constructed this beautiful landmark at the beginning of the 20th Century.
