This 16th century country house is on the slopes of the Quantock Hills 15 miles from Exmoor National Park. It has quiet gardens free Wi-Fi free parking and a restaurant. The Castle of Comfort Country House is just off the A39 less than 10 miles from Bridgwater. The 5-star house has a Gold Award from VisitBritain. The house was a coaching inn during the 17th century and still has many original features such as wooden beams. The Castle of Comfort is now a small country house providing 5-star guest accommodation. The en suite rooms have TVs telephones hairdryers tea/coffee and free sherry. There are large gardens a lounge for drinks and a restaurant that is open every evening except Sundays.
